[Music] hey guys what's going on this is your palel chh I've got a smile on because it's another Friday the 13th physical media video I'm so excited about this now I talked to my pal overseas that sent this to me and he was like I don't need you to shout me out or nothing like that so I'm not going to do that but my pal you know who you are thank you God bless you cheers for this um you know the cool thing about Friday the 13th is the way it's revered all over the world it seems you know and you could say the same for Halloween you could say the same for you know a number of different franchises but what what's so cool about Friday the 13th is the love the series gets physically and and media wise overseas too uh there's a company called 84 entertainment I believe they put out the most gorgeous media books I've ever seen and the cool thing is that they do uh additions all the time they're they're not exactly easy to get your hands on there were moments where diabolic was putting these on their sites but they would go like that and I don't think they've actually done them in a while and let me show you this real quick so today's video is about a Friday the 13th part two release and you know typically I I don't like to do I I I'm pretty conscious and not about trying not to do show B releases but the reason I do want to do this is because this isn't something that's just easy for some people to just get so I at least want you to be able to truly see this and listen you're probably going to say well Christian that's cool but what does the menu screen and stuff look like on a release like this don't worry I got you we're going to look at the menu screen I'm going to put this in my region free Blu-ray player all that guys so don't worry about that so this is about Friday the 13th Part Two so I was getting in the zone getting ready to do this unboxing so I threw on my steelbook of Friday the 13th Part Two a lot of you have also mentioned to me Christian have you no that Friday the 13th Part Two is available in 4k on Apple TV all I can tell you guys is this Friday the 13th Part Two is in fact coming out on 4K I can either confirm or deny it but at the same time yeah it's it's it's come on we all know it's coming it's not a secret it's not like I got the answer but it's it's coming guys we know that when is the qu is the is the real question uh it'll be this year for sure I I'm I'm pretty positive about that so that's good to know um so yeah I was watching my steel book of part two to get in the zone now let me show you an example of this now this is one of the releases I had from 84 entertainment for Jason Takes Manhattan now what's cool about this release is there are multiv variants of this the variant I have obviously has the I Love New York on it and let's kind of Breeze through the pages obviously this is all in German so guess what we ain't going to understand a lake of nothing on the pages but it's a beautiful media book has all these awesome pictures in it the Lazarus there's something even more spectacularly cool about the one we're going to open up because it's padded it it literally is a padded physical media release yeah and the the pictures on these are such high gloss high res so they didn't skimp on that whatsoever which is just sensation look at that look at that gorgeous shot and you could tell just by the camera I mean the camera's doing pretty good Justice to this but yeah it looks incredible gorgeous stuff guys look at that you seeing that are you guys seeing that man come on it's remarkable I cannot confirm or deny this guys um the rumor was that when and the when the Paramount movies came out from Parts 1 through eight on Blu-ray they they were really 720p upscales I cannot say that's the case or not I heard that from people um but I can tell you this when I did watch this release on blu-ray when I got it I felt like it looked a little bit better than the original Paramount Blu-rays I felt like it did don't I I I know that sounds silly but I can't confirm to deny that okay so guys check this out we are going to be unboxing this incredible release of Friday the 13th part two still sealed everything it's literally padded so they did a line of these where they could did close-up shots of the masks and they padded these releases so they're literally like pillows so let's see if I can get a closeup of this for you guys incredible yeah this is going to be something to set our sights on guys I think you guys are really going to dig this really going to dig this okay so without further Ado let's open this puppy up and check it out I I can't imagine I would have thrown away my cover on my first one but maybe I did all right so let's look at this first the three dis limited oh this is three dis okay this is a special limited edition one the one I had was just standard kind of version so that that this one is better that's probably why I didn't have this cuz I would have kept that I'm sure all right guys so check this out here it is this is the cardboard sleeve three dis limited special edition are you guys kidding me all right there's the back we're going to have to figure out what these extras are guys okay extras are in English Friday the 13th Chronicles part 1 two and three secret of schore Jason Forever Chris Lake memories Friday's Legacy okay but why three discs that's going to be interesting to find out all right guys without further Ado let's look at this padded release of Friday the 13th part so look hold on let me just make sure you guys can see this look at this it's padded my God look at that shot of Jason the back is obviously just the mask as well and on our spine free tagor 13 teal 2 Blu-ray all right here we go guys we're going to experience this together here we go wow oh man all right so there's our first disc which I believe is probably the movie Sensational look at these pictures Sensational um there may be a thing where I can Google take a picture of this and then like like a picture translate where it'll translate all the words this was before the footage from the Carl Fon uh Library came out where we got to see all of his special effects in there yeah Sensational yeah 84 entertainment did such incredible releases like America deserves stuff like this for series like this like get creative this is so creative I love this and there's something about a media book that I like like it's one thing to like have released that comes with a book but it's another thing where the book is just a part of the release you don't have to worry about it falling out or it getting lost or anything it's all boom you pull it out of the shelf right then right there there's something to be said about that obviously in in America when we get this kind of stuff like this it's the hard shell box with the case and then the separate booklet that sort of thing but there's something to be said about a nice media book it's not something that you see too terribly often anymore in America I feel like it's either I'm in the minority and I like them or the companies just don't see the value in the media book style I I don't know that's something you guys I'd like to hear your thoughts on that incredible incredible there's the staircase all right so we have bonus material disc and then we have oh it's the movie on DVD they gave us the movie on DVD so without further Ado guys let's go look at the menu screen for this release and see how it looks we'll look at the bonus materials DVD as well guys we are situated and getting ready got our Jason Manhattan over there we got our part two way up there here we go this is the main disc on the 84 entertainment 84 entertainment that's the the company that puts out these um releases here we go oh my God look at that all right so we got Jason over here with the the axe kind of in front of the words filmart I guess that's chapters the Capel Ian Lan that's got to be language bonus all right that's wicked cool so obviously you guys are aware of this so they 84 entertainment did put out all the you know the features that we were getting very very cool let's check out the other disc let's just put the bonus disc Blu-ray in let's see what this curtails or entails not curtails I'm not saying here we go checkerboard media just like last time come on with it come on with it 84 entertainment I'm have to look up more up about that company see what other kind of stuff they have all right let's see let's see see if the menu is the same or oh it's different look at that all right so we got Friday the 13th Chronicles part one Friday the 13th Chronicles part two uh secret score behind the gore Jason forever inside Crystal Lake memories Friday's Legacy horror conventions this is great I love it you know the old convention stuff is cool because you get to see you know what people's horror shirts look like in like 20078 whenever this was coming out scarefest oh man look at this so this was scarefest in Kentucky in like 2008 amazing look at Betsy so cool I've watched all these special features a thousand times in my life look at that people have digital yeah this was clearly before the iPhone look at all the digital cameras people have and stuff there's Victor Victor Miller was right there yeah so cool guys well there you go those are the menu screens there it is guys uh I just want I thought you guys would enjoy looking at this and you know being able to experience it as if me and you were sitting down putting it in the player seeing what it looked like that sort of thing um I try to I try to go out of my way for you guys cuz I I I want you guys that can't get something like this
