Starting something new can be scary. Especially when that new thing is the first day of kindergarten students at Reiki Elementary. It's part of the Portland public schools had a practice first day as New Center remains. Ray Wooten tells us those students might be a little more ready now for the new Year. It may look like a real first day of school and we're just gonna go around the block. But for Reiki Elementary's new kindergarten students, this bus ride is just a test run. So what we do now, we're back at school, go open your door. It's one of many daily routines that they'll be experiencing for the first time in this room. That means freeze after the bus comes the classroom full of kids and teachers. They don't know yet. Some may be slow to warm up to a new place without their parents nearby. I'm a little scared if you can give me a me too or a thumbs up anyone else but others like little bartholomew and IPs are ready to get the year going.
