what is up my friends I just got out of Beetlejuice Beetle juu the new film from Tim Burton and I definitely have some thoughts this movie was pretty much exactly what I was hoping for it's it's a true sequel to what's now become a CT classic a movie that I've watched so many times in my life and what surprised me the most is that Tim Burton managed to make this feel like a 1988 sequel without giving too much away basically the Deets family returns home to Winter River and Lydia goes on this journey of basically finding her daughter astd and along the way there's some after life stuff and of course there is Beetlejuice and you know as far as expectations go I think anytime you have a sequel like this like a legacy sequel you go in wanting this to be like even better than the first and like the best movie you've ever seen I wouldn't say it's exactly that but I am happy to Now call this part of this franchise because it felt like that I just think there was some structural things some things that maybe didn't even need to be in the movie it was a little bit more complex than I think it needed to be and there was a really simple story in there that was like glaring and looking at me the whole time that I was like man you should have just made this like a 90-minute film but if you're looking for a really great time I think you're going to have it like Danny Elfman back with the score he makes you feel like you're right back home with Beetlejuice Katherine O'Hara was the standout for me as well as William defo he plays this character that you would never expect I don't know it's just a really great time I think you guys are going to have a lot of fun over the weekend definitely go check this out Michael Keaton is fantastic wiona ryer is fantastic Jenna Ortega is amazing as always I don't know are you guys going to see Beetle Juice Beetle Juice this weekend please let me know down in the comments if you've seen it at this point let me know what you thought I'm going to have my spoiler-free review coming out in the next couple days so keep an eye out for that as always make sure you guys smash like subscribe and keep up the good vibes peace [Music]
