24 our players of the game for this opening night Patrick momes just under 300 yds Pacho good running in the second half and Xavier worthy the rookie out of Texas two touchdowns and worthy and momes standing by with Melissa Stark talk about coming down to the wire Patrick how nerve-wracking was that yeah I mean obviously it was nerve rcking it's a game of inches though that's what they say and um that's a great football team and to come out here and get a win at Arrowhead wait to off the season you said after losing week one last year at home to the Lions you did not want to be pushed around how did you guys pull this one out I thought the guys responded well I mean like I said that's a really good football team we got to see what training camp did for us we got a lot of things we got to get better at but it's a great start and how excited are you to have this rookie Xavier Worthy on your team no yeah he's a playmaker uh to come out here in the first game against one of the best defenses in the league um to score some touchdowns just a start though he's got a long ways to go he's going to be great he's standing here so humble over here your first NFL game two touchdowns one of them on your first touch can you imagine a better start man I couldn't um I just thank my teammates for putting their trust in me and there's more to come and Patrick got you the ball from both of your touchdowns what are you going to do with those balls I'm a frame them I'm going to put them up and you got the game ball too so now you have three balls all right it is just week one long season ahead Patrick but how important was it to get this one it was very important I mean that's a team that's going to be in the playoffs um I know it's long ways away but that can be home cility Advantage all that different type of stuff but that's just one week we got a long ways to go and uh we're going to keep building congratulations guys
