hi this is Kevin Thomas and welcome to the at home Film Festival I am ending the month the same way I started it I am going to focus on one streaming Channel a week and this is our last week so I have chosen here TV maybe I thought about them a lot cuz I was at the SF queer Film Festival last week and didn't have a show but here TV is here and they're queer and they are the gay Netflix has so much content you'll love I picked seven exclusive shows for you to take a look at so let's go now and see what they got okay our first movie is a super fun black comedy called waking up dead from director Taran Chino that did Elliot loves he's such a creative filmmaker this is about an actor totally down on his luck at the end of his rope so he decides to kill himself that's not a spoiler because it happens early on and while he's hanging there he gets a job offer oh my God throwing Tracy Lords and a super funny Oscar caliber rius performance and you have yourself a winner and it's exclusive to hear TV so you should do minimally that free trial subscription don't you think so love this movie oh here also has L which has the directress cut exclusive on here it's about a man who was in prison he gets out he develops a relationship behind bars will that relationship continue oh my God this movie is so well written for character development and the story is fantastic and the actors really really make you fall in love with their story and their situation you've got to check this movie out it's really a good one from the heart mm l or l speaking of heart-wrenching since the last time we met is another one of those it's about a man who seems to be successful in life he's kind of cold to people and uses them for sex and his own enjoyment but then he meets someone from his past and then we relive the story told in different days in the whole period that they knew each other it is a really terrific film it's honest the acting is real the dialogue seems on point I really enjoyed this film I rooted for these people I was emotionally drained at the end oh what a terrific one wow wow wow Norwegian dream is also a terrific film about a man from Russia who goes to Norway thinking his life could be better but there's so many prices you have to pay for working there he's got to give all this money to it's almost like paying the mafia off he's got to give money for housing and his job and yet his job is just really gutting fish while living in this drab World which he thought would be terrific he meets a wonderful guy that they started a great relationship with guys I guess a lot of these movies this week I'm thinking of relationships Maybe maybe I need one mhm well since I'm not getting one in real life I'm going to watch it in the movies death among friends really surprised me on here so it's about a guy that confesses to some crime on a tape and he sends the file to somebody but the killers don't know who the file was sent to they kind of know among his friends who has it that's where there's death among friends well anyway the bad guy comes to try to seek out who has the the file and David milber as the villain oh my God he surprises me so much I usually see him Pleasant and fun in movies he really has a dark side I'd hate to meet up with him face to face when the dark sies out cuz wow wow wow wow wow what a surprisingly wonderful performance he's so talented but I did not know he had such evil lying beneath and you will see too when you watch DEATH among friends taking a break from our movie content here also has a lot of exclusive award shows and Live Events like the gayn the gay adult video awards oh my God it's so fun this year it's hosted by Alec MAA they might have Bruce Valance show up Sister Roma it's always a fun sexy night at the Gans and it's fun to watch Awards like Best Bottom best oral best oral bottom best three-way with an oral bottom it's so fun come watch them yes my last movie is Jack which is a feat te at really but kind of hard to talk about because it's really a subject that rips my heart out where a family threw away their gay son when he came out like trash he ends up going to La and is further taken advantage of by other people in Desperate situations or people that just take advantage he does meet a few kind people along the way including Terry Ray who usually makes me laugh at everything but he gives such a sensitive sweet performance in this I applaud him for that I also applaud director Billy Cliff for taking on such a heavy subject it's hard to think of what people go through and the character is based upon someone real who recently died and it just shows that life is just so precious it could be taken away from us at any minute so let's learn from Jack okay well that's our show
