Corbin you felt there were some positive takeaways the other night in Los Angeles did you feel there were more today yeah um you know when we can get back to getting the weak contact and um getting some quick outs get some outs on the ground um you know we're in a good spot first inning two baseballs that I don't think they could have thrown any better um to for for hits and then um led to a run there but um other than that we made some pitches to get out of some jams um ball on the ground weak contact and swing and miss so um definitely contining to head in the right direction when the first two batters like you mentioned have blue pits to start the game is it difficult to not in your head go kind of like here we go again yeah um you just got to look at them and and see if they were executed pitches or not obviously if they weren't good pitches then um you know there's there's obviously room continue executing pitches but um first hit was cutter off the bat you know inside that was you know weakly hit and then the second hit was a slider off the end of the bat dumped in for another knock so um just kind of kind of kind of tip your cat and tip your cap and they managed to put the ball in play and found holes and um you know there really wasn't many balls see at hard tonight so um definitely definitely some positive things and can can keep moving forward but it is soft content that sometimes goes against you as it does how much do you fight the urge to maybe say like I want to get my whiff right up and and try to throw throw balls past people and and really focus on continue with the soft contact in war yeah I mean I I I know that when I'm getting soft contact I'm I'm in a good spot um sometimes there's not much you can do about it some guys just go up there and put some bat on the ball that they don't normally do um but yeah I mean it's tough knowing that making good pitches you're getting weak contact most of the time it's going to go for outs but occasionally you're going kind of go through the stretch that we're in and everything just kind of Falls in and feels like you start getting singled to death but made some pitches and got out of it but um yeah it's it's easy to try to make an adjustment when you're getting weak contact but you know I've I've done this long enough I know that when I'm getting weak contact I know I'm making good pitches that things are going to turn in my favor eventually I know most of those runs were scored after you stopped pitching but how much how fun was it to finally see the offense break out like that I mean offensively we know that's the team that we are um we saw it for the first three months of the year before we've kind of got into a little Funk but um there's a reason why this offense is one of the best offenses in the game and and I think they showed it tonight and um I think they will they will continue to um a lot of good ABS tonight and um yeah I mean it's a usually have one of those games to kind of get you going and all of a sudden it Sparks everyone and and everyone starts starts raging so um hopefully this is the game that carries us and Carries us to the end of year
