WEEKEND IN MY LOS ANGELES LIFE - HERMOSA BEACH STAYCATION | Alexa Kouakou

so we are in Hermosa and we are going to be going for a quick little bike ride we're going to bike to the beach we're also going to grab sandwiches on the way and yeah we'll bring you guys along where you going easy now press the brakes hold the brakes what are the set can you bike okay all right we got sandwiches and now we're heading over here we are I'm just going to chill I'm probably going to read my book and yeah enjoy the sun enjoy the sun okay there he goes I'm definitely a black cat in the sense that I'm not a big water person so I like to observe from the sand and watch him have his fun I also grew up going to Lakes not the ocean so I'm a little iffy about the ocean I just when I see the ocean I only think of like all the things that could possibly go wrong so we'll see I'm currently reading this book cash definitely not like a cuty V treat but very educational look who's back don't we got Jersey miks I got the Italian Mike swi stop don't touch it dirty ass hands I got the Italian sub Mike's way no onions and he hasn't gotten his s what it's a number seven okay guys Harrison's on the phone having an argument with someone over a parking spot right now to learn how to drive because you obviously can't what you talking about you need to slow down girl this is my car you don't pay for nothing over here all I got to say is you can this up about my Park before I be a problem don't you know want these type of problems so you can call the cops girl I'm not with that you need to calm down because you look a hot mess calm calm this is what he was referring to excuse me your window Dale I feel like I look like two Shades Darker but tonight we are going to the should I say Hollywood Park room it's card room tonight we're going to the card room Casino I don't know what you call it I don't know what you call it think it's the casino but we're going and we're going to play some poker um who's goingon to go Gabby Luke U Melo will be there and Melo will be there so should be fun um it'll be my second time going and I did okay last time but I'm kind of the type of person where like if I make money any sort of profit it's like I'm cashing and after that so we'll see if I leave with more than what I came in with but what type of person am I you will leave with nothing you leave with pennies on the dollar if he this is the thing about Harrison if he actually does have something left he will blow it on like bakarat I don't lose it on bakarat yeah you have or like Blackjack I'll lose it on Blackjack okay yeah so I'll try to update you guys um when we're heading out and when we're there man go so I just got showered and dressed I'm just wearing a basic tank and some jeans from Zara like years ago I didn't really bring decent shoes uh for the casino card room wherever you want to call it so guess I'm going in flip-flops um not my first choice but it is what it is so we are about to go walk the dogs right now Madison Madison come here oh now you don't want my attention okay hi oh my gosh I forgot to tell you guys this morning we and Harrison went to go grab coffee and guess who is sitting right outside our coffee shop going to see this and we're going to be embarrassed I don't care Shawn Mendes Shawn Mendes is right outside our coffee shop and I'm like uh that is Shawn Mendes and Harrison's like okay let's get the dogs out out of the car and I was like no like we had packed the car we had it was packed to the gills so I was like let's not take the dogs out we're just grabbing quick coffee and he gets the dogs out anyways and we walk in there and like I kind of like I walk in the door that he's sitting next to outside and you know he he's kind of looking at me like I'm about to ask for a picture and I just like kind of like beine straight to the door and then on the way out we go out the the same door of course and so we go out the same door and then all of a sudden like Penny and Madison's leashes like get intertwin and then it's like oh we can't get out and then Harrison like lets Madison go and Shawn Mendes literally just puts his hand out and like pets her so M Madison did tear up Penny's like extra dog bed this morning and I swept it up but she made it up to me by you know getting Shawn Mendes's attention so fun little tidbit there so I forgot to update you guys after we got back from ebiking pretty fun I think the first go around when we got on the bikes I was a little nervous for some reason I don't know why but it just felt like way it felt way different than the last time we went ebiking and I was not comfortable on the bike that much and then when we were biking back from the beach I I kind of started to find my footing um and it was really fun cuz then we started biking in like neighborhoods that I'm very familiar with so biking was fun um and so now we're going to head out and go and walk the dogs so see you guys let's go come on let's go let's go [Music] we just got back from our walk and we're going to go grab food down in Manhattan Beach and Harrison's GNA bike us on the same bike cuz I a want to get the footage for it B it's also just like less pressure when I don't have for the content all for the content and then it's less pressure for me and I can just like turn my brain off when I'm not biking um so yeah show you guys what we end up ordering [Music] [Music] [Music] I don't know if you guys can hear me but I got my hat that I wanted well you flip to the hat that I got got this one this is a cute [Music] hat oh we got more hats how does this happen [Music] get those [ __ ] hats off my tail that is so rude okay now I look [ __ ] stupid cuz I have a hat and a helmet on but now we're biking back dinner was fun we got four hats tonight so see you theun partun show you guys is that pretty pretty pretty okay so I want to say that dinner was a success the plan was to uhoh hi hi okay perfect the plan was to go to the Burger Spot in Manhattan Beach and if there was a way we were going to go to shellbach Tavern and I wanted to go to shellbach because I don't know why I've been seeing all these hats everywhere and I was like I want a shell pack Tavern hat so we go and we got these hats Harrison got this one which I think is really cute luckily we can do tradesies and then I got a Navy hat and then so we're at the restaurant so then we're at the restaurant and Harrison knows the guy the owner of the restaurant no manager Harrison knows the manager of the restaurant he's my boy very well and he saw the hats that we got and he was like get that [ __ ] out of here and so he gave us he said get that [ __ ] he literally said get the [ __ ] off the table so then he gave us these hats one and then we got this one and honestly I was just wearing this in the restaurant and the bill fits me so nicely let me put it on try honestly feel like this is like the best fitting hat I think the bill is just really big and it looks super flattering on me I really like it and it was free it's like the free [ __ ] that always gets you I don't know which one I like better I like the brown I should have gotten one with patch this is better Beach hat for sure yellow I love we have like four trucker hats now we have like four brand new Checker hats so tonight we are going to the card room Hollywood Park shut up can I film in there like little Clips not like hey guys I have Ace King you can like kind of like be like I think we'll be fine I got a good hand guys it's not like a casino stay tuned stay tuned for the Flop and then we got these hats too let me try these on for you maybe oh wait this is cute too they're all cute try on the yellow Harrison like is dying for me to try this yellow hat oh okay I'm just going to yag it yeah yellow's cute too if I'm trying to be fun if I'm trying to be fun I don't love it Travis I don't I don't like this one I don't think there's enough contrast between the brown and the yellow but those are the hats we got hat hul [Music] in terms of poker tonight I'm just going to read my book and go to bed back at the beach same outfit as yesterday new hat so it's not the same day so they go on their knees and they like lay down like two different ways to padle mag break wow it's there's this event called the Catalina classic apparently they're paddle PD paddle boarding all the way from from Catalina to Manhattan and how many miles is that do you know I don't know it takes 2 hours by the the the boat so you know like the shuttle so I assume I don't know maybe like 30 probably more than that I know let's see let see how far it is that's the event going on today we we'll be back with an update on how far it is update 34 miles from Catalina to here working on my Spanish homework right now I didn't plan ahead so I had to do it on like these random pieces of paper so I have all these verbs written out and there's more on the other page but I'm afraid to show you cuz it might fly away went in for like 5 minutes I got to about my knes and I was like all right pretty cold I'm going to sit back down Harrison's out there right now he's out there [Music] [Music] swimming I find it really hard to get into the ocean especially in LA because it's so much cooler here like Hawaii so warm that like it feels nice going in the ocean and there's like a really really stark contrast between like the heat in Hawaii and then the water the water's pretty warm too but here it doesn't get that hot here and so it's kind of difficult to like be motivated to get in the water unless it's like I've been like on a run or something and I'm sweating then like I I actually want to go in the water but you know it's a little too it's not warm enough for me being from Arizona so we've been back from the beach we went to get lunch completely housed my lunch I did not film that and then I realized that I needed oh we got a little visitor and then I realized that I needed to edit my video that I wanted to post today so I had to finish editing like right after eating so I just finished uploading and it was super fun to like get back into the swing of things cuz like I kind of forgot how much works YouTube was in terms of like editing and like all the little like small things when it comes to like the YouTube like posting on the YouTube channel so that is done I feel like I have a weight lifted off my chest and I'm hoping to get this video out for you guys next week um so now Harrison and I are just chilling hanging out I'm on the balcony right now and tonight we're going to go do a sauna um that's kind of like Harrison's thing he really is big into like sauna and cold plunge I kind of tag along every now and then um so hopefully I update you guys and we're there [Music] I don't think I recorded an outro for the video so Harrison and I ended up driving back home to our place um and yeah it was a really fun beach day it was kind of like a station and we got to you know go out see the sun um go to the beach walk to dogs go biking so it was a pretty fun weekend so that's the end of this Vlog I hope to see you guys next weekend in my next video bye guys
