well Scotty sort of goes without saying it's don't want to start on too negative but it's incredibly devastating yeah behind absolutely and you know it's uh Irreplaceable from a from from what Chloe offers but obviously um you know we've got the philosophy that it's the next soldier in and that's what we'll we'll work towards but um there's no getting away from it it's it's devastating for for her and uh you know her heart goes out to her so um but knowing Chloe she'll be uh attacking that rehab really really hard and uh and getting trying to get back for round one next year and um you know and it' be a good um when when the dust settles to be able to get her into doing some stuff behind the scenes for us which will also hopefully hopefully Fast Track her development can you talk us through I mean there was an obvious focus on not letting the players know today what what kind of the mentality was behind that yeah we just decided that um we would we would let the players play and um you know being being the leader that she is it was it was really important to us let him focus on the game and that was driven by Chloe and she was adamant to be that way so we were comfortable with that and um yeah just focus on the job at hand and not not have anything put us off um but yeah that's uh that was the mentality so Chloe and the and the lad the coaches and stuff knew last night is that we found out we've got it confirmed today unfortunately our doctor was at the men's match last night um so we we got confirmation this morning um and then it was just a matter of um how we go about it um up until last night if you asked Chloe she wanted to play so we we we thought it might have just been a you know just one of those those KN elements you get but um it was thank God we went and got the scan yesterday and um and then yeah doct confirmed it with me this morning and I went from there so did players end up finding out during the game when did they no no they found out after the game so Chloe spoke to the the group um straight away um after the siren cuz we're aware that the the news had got out um and she spoke brilliantly in there and um yeah very composed and and you know really as the leader she is really um and then let it go from there what was the immediate response from the player yeah disappointment obviously in support straight away and um Lucy McAvoy happened to be at the back of the group and she grabbed me on the shoulder and she said we've got this um which I love that attitude and I'm hoping that's the attitude through the group and we've done a lot of work on our connection as a group so I suspect that will be but obviously there was disappointment initially um because we love her so much how do you think they cach on the field today with um yeah in Bits good I mean we won the last half um which was a bonus because we started so poorly in the first quarter and we got absolutely smashed at post clearance contest the ball and something we we're trying to pride ourselves on so we we made a change at quarter time then during the second quarter we got stuck a little bit with the tactic that we were using with the mode of play so then we changed it again at halftime from halftime I thought we we had the control of the game you know to win inside 50s win territory win disposals win everything except the scoreboard um comes back to that first quarter and citus and kilder they played some really good footy they they're a good side they moved the ball really well but I'm I'm bitterly disappointed with that result I felt um that was one we've let slip well good thanks guys
