Maher’s Thought: FLYERS SIGN DEFENSEMAN MARC STAAL TO A 1-YEAR DEAL!

all right what's up everybody a quick little video here and obviously not in my same spot isn't it Flyers development Camp um and I'm doing a little bit of a different video um but the Flyers have signed Mark stall it's a one year 1.1 million dollar contract made out by francire Valley this doesn't surprise me uh I said this the other day um you know the Flyers kind of I had a feeling that they were going to sign a vet defenseman you needed the type of guy that could come in and you know help out the rookies and stuff like that it wasn't just going to be you know rookies making the team I didn't see it where you know zamol added Andre all those guys end up making the team and it's like No And obviously not all of them would but at least one or two of them right and I just didn't see that I had a feeling that they were going to sign a vet if they could do it at the right price and they do install is a good veteran um you know he's you know played a lot of hockey in this past year obviously with Florida so he's the type of guy that can come in and give you some good minutes um you know I don't know how much game he has left and that can kind of hurt the Flyers but also help a little bit right because you're trying to get a better pick too um so I think a lot of different things kind of go into play here what kind of happens at Camp how it kind of goes throughout the season stuff like that but as for for stall I mean one year 1.1 it's a cheap deal doesn't make a lot of money simple contract for the Flyers and just good business again by Brier you know you add another veteran you add another guy that can kind of help out and uh we'll uh we'll see what happens come main camp but the Fireside Mark stall one year 1.1 million thanks everybody again for all the support make sure to check us out on Twitter at mayor mediaco for all the updates here at development Camp I think I'm going to apologize for not being in the same spot but there's not much I can do so uh yeah thanks everybody again for all the support I'll talk to you all again soon
