of the college football season it is almost Saturday and that means South Florida is coming up from comfy Tampa to come into Tuscaloosa Alabama for what I feel will be a little bit of a Revenge game now I don't think that coach kayin dor and his new Staff feel that this is really a Revenge game because they weren't part of the staff last year but let's face it I mean we have a lot you know kind of built up for that game from last year uh if you agree with me give me a thumbs up inside the comment box I'm a little bit uh still you know upset about that game from last I don't know why out of all the games that could have gone either way like that game kind of you know it just pissed me off you know watching four quarters of it stuck in the mud I don't know I didn't like it the game got you thank you so much all right you watch that game last night NFL Kansas City and Baltimore the reason I open up with it is because you know it was an entertaining game I think when you look to the offenses of this day and age and the direction of NFL football and the direction of football overall number one the first thing that stood out to me is the new kickoff rules right how they have the team that's kicking off and the team that's receiving those guys like together that was weird that like I mean I saw that a couple times in the preseason but to actually see it in the game strange Kansas City beats Baltimore last night in case you missed it 27 to2 two really good teams I would imagine that these are two of the top teams in the AFC this coming year of course uh Patrick Mahomes 20 of 28 291 yards with a touchdown Isaiah Pacheko absolute monster 15 car for 45 yards also had a nice little reception as well uh two receptions for 33 yards it was interesting watching the Chiefs because they have so many weapons now I have Travis Kelce on my NFL uh fantasy football team yo I'm kind of worried about having him this year because they have so many weapons right I mean Rashid rice uh Xavier worthy how about worthy I mean Ryan Williams two touches two touchdowns at the college level Xavier worthy he had two Touches for two touchdown s in in the NFL right you saw him with the 21 yard reverse or whatever that was and then he had um you know reception that went for a touchdown as well on the other side I mean Baltimore my goodness Lamar Jackson threw for 41 times completing 26 passes 20 273 yards passing also had 122 yards rushing Derrik Henry um 46 yards rushing and a touchdown and Isaiah likely that tight end that they have man Oho they're good those are two love to travel um I haven't been doing any traveling as of late I mean the coolest thing that I did recently was like drive to Birmingham I'm serious I'm just like here in just cloa all the time but the game is in South Pao tonight you know what was interesting about the game is I was just reading an article this morning the green Packers are staying 2 and a half hours away from the stadium and they're going to have to ride on the bus 3 hours before the game to get the stadium and they said that it could provide a Advantage for the Eagles Eagles led by clearly former Alabama quarterback Jaylen Herz also got Devonte Smith Lon Dickerson couple other guys from Alabama on the Eagles that' be a good game all right if you really want to watch something cool I look I I like cool videos that kind of showcase like different countries different cities I have never seen a more engaging video type this in okay if you if you if you have two minutes to spare flying into sou Paulo Brazil I've never seen a bigger city in my life it is has anyone been to Sal Paulo it's it's it's crazy the the the skyscrapers like we've been to New York City right the skyscrapers go for about 20 minutes of of you guys ask about uh Jaylen hell he's a Alabama wide receiver that was injured during the springtime he's out until further notice so keep your thoughts and prayers for Jaylen hell I think all those other injuries are pretty uh minor but Jaylen hell that that was one that you know is going to keep him out for some time being that'll be a really good comeback story you know I'm sure every single day he's in the training room trying to get better um so a really really talented wide receiver here's what the off line depth chart could theoretically look like if Ken Proctor can't go a lot knocked out at the left tackle position I kind of like that I mean it shows the versatility of him as a offensive lineman I'm sure the NFL Scouts would be curious to see what he would look like as a social media account and it's Jamarcus Shepard who is Alabama's co-offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach at Bama who's in his first season who has a ton of energy all right sent a message to the five star I uploaded it as a YouTube short you can go watch it and look he's like look we turn it up here at Alabama come be a part of something great but first things first it's Friday go get yourself a w and we'll see you on Saturday Caleb cting ham is coming this weekend to watch the Alabama Crimson Tide he was in Oxford last week watching old miss having a guy as dynamic as Jamarcus Shepherd I think is going to continue to do wonders for Alabama along with this new energy coaching sta Jamarcus Shepard man this guy has it you look at the wide receiver coaches of the past here Alabama they've had a lot hey Marcus knows what that was from right Sandlot forever uh but I love that message Man and they've been doing this a couple times I've seen coach Kan wack do it one time uh I think I've seen a couple other coaches on Alabama social media uh feed release kind of that energy to their players can you imagine being a high school athlete out there and you know picking up your phone and see that you got a message from the offensive coordinator or the co-offensive coordinator of Alabama you sending you a message like that I love it good strategy and who knows that's probably coming up from Courtney Morgan this is something that's worked in the past that we want to continue to do someone said they were like you got to feed the kids kids ego H maybe maybe a little bit but I think it's more about um you know displaying that we're interested in you we're engaged in you I I don't think he's sending out 25 videos I think they understand the type of athlete that Caleb Cottingham is and let's face it he's absolutely Elite I've talked about his highlights plenty of times he's a number two wide receiver in the country out of acrian Mississippi 6'2 180 lbs committed uh this summer on July 13th will be in town this weekend his highlights are absolutely outstanding and when I look to the future of the Alabama wide receiver position and I know you can't say that this group is the wide the kind of the ride outs I don't know maybe you can can I mean every time Ryan Williams touches the football it's a touchdown I strongly feel not to continue to like throw more hype on everything else go watch his highlights for yourself I'll I'll put them on the screen sometime I think Caleb cting ham plays next year I do I think he'll be on the opposite side or right next to Ryan Williams he's that good I'm I'm dead serious have you guys seen this guy's highlight tape have you seen him play this dude don't mess around he's outstanding like outstanding and you need to continue to to press on a young man like this and you know there's other guys that'll be in town this weekend and not to make light of those guys that are coming in I think Michel deos is coming up from La London Simmons is coming over from Mississippi as well but this is like a a I would assume that this is the top guy in your class other than Keon uh Russell right Keon Russell the quarterback hey JS webs I so this year I'm not going to any games because my my livelihood def depends on me being in front of you guys so I'm I'm just doing watch alongs this year I spent you know a couple just that every single thing that coach kayin debore like he's already winning and what I love about Coach kayin abort is he's winning day by day this isn't I mean all you can do is win today first thing he did brought in Parker bford people cheered they saw the train wreck last year at the center position coach you need to uh get one more Prospect two more prospects from the class of 2024 Ryan Williams just decommitted well Ryan Williams this is how we can utilize you you got him it's more than I it's it's it's reality that's the first guy that he got was Ryan Williams first guy that he took care of the transfer portal Parker bford when the transfer portal ended oh you needed a kicker go out and get Graham Nicholson okay first game of the season Western Kentucky shut out on defense offense scores almost 70 points every single time he's winning the guy is humble he has a great demeanor I mean the nothing change I mean that's why I like I always have this conversation I'm like man how could how could any other team out there beat Alabama they're going to have to score like 90 points I don't think Alabama loses this season save the receipts I don't I really don't I don't think they lose the game you see uh a lot of you know what I also like about this coaching staff and kayin deor they've done an amazing job doing it their way but also bringing back Alabama great you just saw Scott Cochran he was here talking to the team and you and and then you have uh Trent Richardson was in town yesterday did you see that on Alabama's social media feed Chris what's up man I appreciate you being here yeah we're live man uh and I get it this is before my time but the people I talk to and and I get it the running backs that ran through here Mark Ingram Derrick Henry I I'm serious people say Trent Richardson is was like the guy I know I'm not going to make you choose who the best running back here was at Alabama but people absolutely love Trent played at Bama from 2009 2011 rushed for over 3,000 yards during his career 35 touchdowns trivia I know it cuz I just looked it up this morning when I was putting this the graphics together how many receiving touchdowns did he catch during his time at Alabama how many receiving touch don't look it up who knows it two-time BCS champ All-American two-time offensive SEC Player of the Year drafted in the first round by the Colts man man oh man and what's cool is you get somebody like this to come back to the team and you talk about the standard right sure are you doing something different at Alabama under coach Kellen deor yeah there's some different things you're letting freshman talk um you're letting the offensive coordinators talk but like the standard is still winning the standard is still playing at the absolute highest level and you're having these ogs come back that are part of Coach s and saying yeah look this is the standard so they haven't just completely changed everything they're still confidence about Bama running the table but now I do I do I know what I saw out there there's some really good teams and I know you guys don't really agree with my top 10 that I had up there and look to the detail that they have there's a lot of guys that you know will get opportunities I mean kendri GLW uh had one reception for a touchdown Jeremy Bernard had one reception for 17 yards Kobe prentis had uh four receptions for 23 yards so he has the most receptions going into this game I think it'll be one of those guys um it was nice honestly to see them utilize Caleb Odum as well I mean he played in 23 snaps as just a freshman which I think is very promising to us as Alabama fans that want to see a young freshman get opportunities Rico Scott in got in there as well so I think the the wide receivers are going to be there in terms of another guy that create that big playability Kendrick La Jeremy Bernard for sure and I think like Mr reliable while Co Cole Adams has that name I think sticky hands Kobe Prentice I mean don't forget about him right in the in in the washing machine of wide receivers that are playing like all of those guys are capable so I don't know if one will like completely take over I kind of feel like it might be like Ryan Williams Jeremy Bernard Kendrick La Kobe Prentice I mean shoot even Emanuel Henderson had a reception for 10 yards and and you're right it's me Marvin it might be a a variety of wide receivers that step up now it's on jayen Milo to feed the wide receiver who is open and if he has a really good connection I I honestly feel he's already feeling really good with the downfield Deep ball to Ryan Williams we saw it you see it at practice you saw it in the scrimmage nuggets so yo let him Feast who do you guys think will be the wide receiver to step up all right next question in um biggest sleeper opponent for Alabama I think Oklahoma Scuba Steve do you guys know what Scuba Steve is from what movie or someone dressed up like team I thought USC's a good team I thought those were two playoff type teams Larry lar saying Missouri that that's a great one oh you got Amanda and uh hell with auburn got it right big daddy right you know when they're trying to put juliean to bed hip hop Hip Hop Anonymous that's such a good movie Missouri you know what people don't talk about Missouri at all how is that how's how are people feeling about South Carolina as a sleeper type team shoot what about Vanderbilt shoot what about South Florida you know I'm going to Hype up vanderbel because my boy Diego Pavia oh he just took down Virginia Tech realistically I think Missouri will will be a good good squad they got a really good coach really good defense still we the obvious is are Tennessee LSU on the road right those games are going to be challenging Auburn look the iron bow goes without saying that game is never easy it's never a walk in the park I think Alabama's going to beat AUB but it's we've learned this it's it doesn't matter we the games at Briant Denny seem to go more Alabama's way and they control those games of Brian Denny but when you go to the barn that Stadium it do it doesn't even matter it it just does not matter is the weirdest I've learned that that's one of the things like if I ever leave the state of Alabama they' be like what is one thing that you learn from living in Alabama I'll be like that the iron ball at Jordan Harris Stadium it doesn't matter who the better team is it'll come down to the last second and and who knows what will happen and Auburn will play the game of their life and whoever's quarterback at that time will play better than any of the greatest NFL quarterbacks remember when B Knicks remember that crazy I is wild down there another mailbag question um in terms of snap count this week which player sees the biggest uptick for example does one player go from three last week to 23 Kev camridge I listed uh right here in the graphic as Keon Keeley I bet you were asking about that too because you saw that Keon Keeley played in three snaps versus Western Kentucky I that's a this is a great question and we continue to talk about Keyon key I could see him getting a a lot more reps this week I really could but a lot of those Bandits are I mean it's tough to keep those guys off the field jir and lean playing at a high level and LT Overton's an overdrive maybe Keon Keeley um in terms of like on the offensive side I'm not sure I mean there was a lot of guys that played a lot of reps last week we went through the depth chart and the snap counts it was amazing what was the number 19 freshman played like played too they didn't just get in for like three or four snaps I mean guys were playing Marcus that's what I'm saying bonick you were like really this guy and then against Alabama the guy was a magician and it he was in college for forever he went to Oregon that was a long career I don't know I guess if I had had to say I would I'm watching Keon Keeley bam Mike wants to see more Quay Russo yeah it's it's amazing that he's only a red shirt freshman all right we had this graphic earlier in the week I needed to add Jaylen Herz I didn't have an 5913 5913 yeah and I I was I called into uh what's his name um Stephen M Smith's show the other day and was just kidding around with him talking about you know how far into the 70s do you think Alabama will score on the previous game you know I was I I couldn't believe how many how many points they scored just so so quick and um my first thing was uh Kendrick law did you see him split split those Defenders H his speed is just um is uh he's got the most speed on the field it seems that guy uh so I want to see him get the ball more and then what I think what I think's funny is back when you know back when Sabin was coach we'd say you know we can put our first or second string in there U and it doesn't matter now we have uh now we have just one string and it's all three strings uh combined we don't even have really uh we have starters but uh everybody on the team plays it seems I think that's awesome the thing about uh the Alabama offense is the quick strike ability and you're right like you want to see more of Kendrick La he got he got one touchdown and he scored Ryan Williams got two catches and he scored on each of those opportunities it's it was amazing to see how fast they were scoring and I said this on Sunday is it reminded me of when coach locky was the OC and they were just scoring so fast and what was amazing about this particular game against Western Kentucky give you my my pics I I think Deontay Lawson is going to be the guy this weekend on defense and on offense I want to go with my man Jaylen Millo I've been hearing a lot of people complaining and whining and talking about him but I feel like he's gonna have a lot to prove especially with not playing in last year's game see I I've been bringing up that point too and if I was Alex Gish I'd be a little bit weary about your comments because he did say you know when they play their best he feels like they can play with anybody I I disagree with that I think they are a team on the rise I think a lot of people would probably agree with that point but there's going to be a big Talent Gap coming into Tuscaloosa and I think there'll be a little added extra energy being that the Field's going to be named after coach sabbin this team um is a buzs saww Jaylen Muro didn't play in that game last year so they might he might not say it openly in public but I bet you Jaylen Muro has a little bit of something for uh South Florida so excited to see it let me ask you uh Brooks out of all the Freshman that got in other than Ryan Williams was there a guy that kind of caught your eye that you're watching again this weekend against South Florida uh yeah actually on defense I like red Morgan a lot man I really like how he he OD around the field he seems like he's a ball Hawk he's he's uh he's he's everywhere I I think once he gets the defense down and uh you know learns his responsibilities I feel like he he's going to be a playmaker yeah you know and and I did like the play of him that that's a a good point out on red Morgan I mean you look at um his physicality he's playing that husky position split in time with Devonte Smith you look at the fact that zaban brown also played right uh 35 snaps as a true freshman I mean the Freshman just didn't get in they got you know like two three plays they they played like they absolutely played I love to see it anything else Brooks Before I people in the comment box were agreeing with is the speed of the defense didn't it seem like these guys were flying around God oh my God it it it was so entertaining it was just like the Georgia uh when we had that Co year when Georgia had the Speedy defense it was just like that team I was just so excited I'm like Road T yeah no it felt good right to to see that and if you want to make Alabama fans happy play Elite defense right like that's cuz that's what that's what Alabama fans are accustomed to okay so uh I I don't know did did we miss your score prediction so what do you think the actual score of this game will be I'm gonna say 58 to zero a double Goose I think that defense is going to really hope yes I think 58 to zero yo can you imagine if Alabama post two consecutive snapshot overview under this new look under coach Kaylin dbor Kyle what I want to say is that uh my my my term is trust uh from the hire of the boore by Greg burn and I've watched what they've done online how they recruit you know Morgan you know the portals they they win every segment of what needs to be winning right yep and so and then the new age college football with nil and all these things I I think that we are in the position now and we did not take a step back that was so impressive to me that from from the transition from Sabin to this regime I think we're back up on Dynasty 2.0 yeah okay and then what I saw in terms of the coaching and the players like Kane W's not going to be here long no okay mhm Kane when he speaks he's he's got Charisma he he he he he speaks what we need to see right we're not we're not satisfied with that shut out even you know we we Deontay Lawson should have had that pick six in that first quarter right yep yeah so so and what I'm trying to say to and this is the best place to be you know with Alabama fans Roll Tide I love it what I want to say lastly is that this team is only going to get better right with experience by the time we hit Georgia okay let's not let's not Overlook Wisconsin okay but by the time we get through the season because this season's going to be such a gauntlet we need the depth and he's that's what they're doing they're rotating everyone in and we got third Team guys that could start for a lot of major Pro programs right rard Keon key uh we got so much depth that I just gonna sit back enjoy this team you for taking my call hey hey buddy here I love your show by the way here here here's what I saw if I may say with with Alabama I see kin dor ushering in an entirely New Era of college football because kind of what I saw last Saturday if that if that's going to be the way it's going to be how this was fastpaced football and just highspeed football on both sides of the ball the whole thing moves so quick and here's a big picture taking my opinion Kyle this is just one man's opinion my opinion not necessarily those of the Kyle show or YouTube in general but this is just my one man's opinion here you know if if you look up the way Nick Sabin and Georgia plays football two great teams get two great teams you know they play kind of pro style football you know excellent quarterback play excellent defense mistake free football kind of you know just just that that's how football that was a Nick saing formula play in football I think with the transort p with the portal with the nil it changed the whole game entirely and what it did was sped it up and it can make it good team better overnight like cam Ward it can make a good team so I think the Nick saving formula winning football games God bless them I think that's kind of the past in the past I think the new way of Win Football is the way that kayin dbor plays it fast-paced football on both sides of the football I love what we see but that's just my overall one big take on what's what's going on cuz kayin is definitely the man in Alabama is definitely the number one team so that's my take Kyle yeah you know what I mean look I I agree with you I I think that um there there this was a a perfect transition for every single thing that coach Sabin did within his career and where he was going to go now with ESPN it was the perfect time for him to take that NE next step in the next chapter of his life which is clearly on TV the guy is absolutely phenomenal and I think with the changing of off to changing a defense coach caylin dor man somebody had to take it over and this is is like the perfect fit um so everything worked out really perfectly coach Sabin goes to ESPN coach klin debor comes in with kind of the new um identity of this offense and the general manager and all the things that um kind of make Alabama and keep Alabama cool right cuz coach Sabin even said himself he was like it's going to it's really hard for me to talk to recruits and people and say I'm going to be around here for five seven more years right I mean it's just he's he's what 72 perfect heal so now this is a great time for him to go do TV golf uh live in Jupiter Florida but you get someone with Coach Kaylin dour's you know uh status and where he is at his profession it worked out perfectly so really like what I see and no I agree man th this is a sped up game the defense looked I didn't I didn't expect the defense to look like that I really didn't I mean they they blew me away so if I'm voting in the poll has 241 votes I'm voting that the defense actually really impressed me I didn't expect them to play that fast um and come with it I mean those guys I thought in time they would catch up to the offense but I don't know they kind of match themselves what else you got Mike well you're exactly right me as much as I love the defense I gotta love the offense a little more because was so explosive but the whole team the whole team here here's my prediction Kyle of 52 to 20 because I'm going very conservative with my predictions I'm still going to take it week by week but uh but uh I I I believe me I got confidence in our defense but I you know there's I think the south Florida may put up some garbage points or something like that so I'm going 5 52 to 20 and we just got to get ready for the Wisconsin games a must- win game a must-win game for that one and then we got Georgia but the way I see how if we played like we did against Western Kentucky and Western Kentucky is a decent team they were just an overmatched team but they were a decent team so if we play like that we're gonna be hard to beat buddy very very hard to beat anyway man love the show Roll Tide stay strong my man I'll interesting so um keeping my eye on that look South Florida this is my closing remarks for the show South Florida is a much better team than Western Kentucky and I get it Western Kentucky beat South Florida last year I think Alex Gish is a coach certainly On The Rise he's been able to beat Alabama before when he was the OC at Tennessee and look the game last year got a little bit squirely Alabama didn't play their best game Jaylen murro didn't even play in the game um Ty Simpson comes in saves the day as Alabama beats South Florida 17 to3 in a swampy Tampa I think this time will be a lot different I think Alabama is playing simply like a buzs saww I think Jaylen Muro will continue to shot and I think um you know Ryan Williams is only getting started so um if I'm making a pick in this game I I'd certainly think that Alabama wins by over 31 points so I'm going to take Alabama let's go with uh 49 and I think South Florida might put a touchdown on the board so I'll go 49 to7 um I
