Ranking All Of The 2025 Six Flags Roller Coasters!

so 2024 has kind of been a greasy nightmare for Six Flags opening up some new coasters and we are referring to the Cedar Fair uh family as well now you're part of the gang let's start with the one everybody's talking about Top Thrill 2 so this roller coaster operated for 3 days before it shut down for the entire season and the park said that this would not be a season long thing and under that guys sold a bunch of gold passes advertising that this roller coaster would be open and it's just crazy embarrassing for zampa and Cedar Point and what an absolute nightmare exactly and you know makes a lot of your regular visitors angry especially when you're selling passes under that uh under the guys that they will be able to ride one of the newest coolest posters this ride won't be on this list because we were actually there on opening day and we did get to ride it somehow so yeah we're we're part of a very lucky group of small people that got to ride this thing actually and um spoiler if it was going to be on this list it would be number one yeah it's it's fantastic it's awesome when it runs which is nearly never but yeah they better get this thing working for next year exactly they've got a lot of time now to iron out the Kink so I really hope that they do put a lot of effort and you know just Ingenuity into this Ingenuity yeah maybe they should have started with the Ingenuity two other Legacy Six Flags coasters were slated to open in 202 before and did not they will be on this list more bad news Kid Flash which just opened at the end of last year is now closed indefinitely at Six Flags Over Georgia those Skyline coasters are apparently very rattly and um definitely have some issues seems they may be a little cheaply designed now a small sliver of good news iron Manis was The Only Thrill coaster that they were able to get open this year and stay open yes throughout the season imagine that they did also open up a few like family and kitty Co coers and Snoopy SC box Racers at Kings Island which we just went on that's pretty cool Snoopy cpaw twister at notb farm and the Bobcat at the Great Escape which is a fantastic family wooden roller coaster by the way go check that out absolutely tons of fun so they got four Coasters open this year and two of those are Snoopy themed what I've gathered from this is if you want your ride to be ready for opening day and operational throughout the season theme it after Snoopy just makes sense so hopefully 2025 will go a little bit smoother for a good old Six Flags here we're going to rate these coasters in the level of which we are excited for them and we'll also let you know if we think they're a good fit for the park they're going to go into and this list is just going to be for North American Parks um the kadia video that's going to be its whole separate thing so yeah there's big things happening in Saudi Arabia right now at Six Flags cadilla but we're not necessarily sure that those are going to be open in 2025 at all and and that's going to need its own video absolutely yes uh too much to cover right here so North American Parks only all right so Six Flags has eight confirmed roller coasters coming out in 2025 in North America so let's get into it at number eight we have Snoopy's racing Railway coming to Six Flags Carowinds sound weird this is going to be a fun little family launch coaster as they're doing a Camp Snoopy expansion in the park and there aren't many details on this but it looks like it's probably going to be a clone of the uh same ride over at Canada's Wonderland so that's probably exactly what it's going to be glad to see that a lot of these parks are investing in like their kids areas these days but it's just you know it's not for our demographic really exactly and number seven we have Georgia Surfer or wait a minute maybe Snoopy Surfer yeah maybe they have the licensing rights now for all the Peanuts characters so they can they can go balls to the wall they really could I guess what they wanted to but I dig originally slated to open up in 2024 it did get pushed back to 2025 and this is inman's first ever Ultra surf model this kind of reminds us of the mock power Splash coaster like Aquaman at Six Flags Over Texas but this one is on the rotating seats so it does look like it will add a little more uh thrill to it which is exciting taking drop sideways and backwards is just more fun if we're being honest we're not sure if this is an actual water ride and if you're going to get like wet on it because it is the first good kind the Splash Zone is more for onlookers and Riders but perhaps we'll get a bit wet too um whereas on the mock power Splash you get absolutely drenched um depending on who you are that could be a good or bad thing I know not everybody wants to get soaked so it just really depends would help on a nice hot day though which there are a lot of in Georgia and uh yeah speaking of Aquaman they Delight they delayed that ride for an additional year to add in a turntable for extra capacity now that they have all this extra time I'm hoping that they can do something like that it's highly doubtful because this is a prototype but you know one can dream don't ultimately I think this is a great fit for Six Flags Over Georgia they don't have a water coaster or a spinning coaster so this really fits the bill for that I just really wish they would uh add in like a turntable for extra capacity but probably not going to happen yeah one can dream at number six we have Quantum accelerator Quantum Snoop accelerator yeah sure this is an intimate straddle coaster and this one really took us by a surprise when we found out about it it seemed like Six Flags really forgot about this park and then Investments weren't coming so we are very pleasantly surprised by this they're finally getting a new coaster and it's not a clone this park is literally just plagued with clone coasters everywhere you've got Joker Catwoman Riddler's Revenge flashback just clones as far as the eye can see wi could Cyclone opened in 2015 but that was a transformation of an existing ride um so the last groundup coaster there was dark knight in 2002 so they are totally overdue for this new coaster especially A New Concept which is really great yeah so this is going to be a family launch coaster from intimate and and this one is themed to like steampunk time travel and they're bringing in a character from a different Six Flags park Professor scream Moore from the Six Flags America steam Town expansion so that's pretty cool I like how they're using like their original Ip instead of just sticking in more superheroes and Looney Tunes exactly and they're in control of this IP you know they can't ever lose it or anything like that they are in the driver SE on this one so I like that the forces don't seem to be too intense on this one but it looks like it does pick up after that second boost launch and the the animation the park is showing is saying to have 11 airtime moments uh we're gonna have to see about that I'm not I'm not quite sure on that one this is almost certain to become a a favorite in the park because families can ride it so it's geared towards everyone this is a good fit for the park because they don't have a launch coaster but we were kind of hoping for something maybe more intense um of an intimate launch coaster maybe something more thrilling more adult but like we said this will be a good fit we've been saying for a while that they should get rid of flashback because that voma Boomerang is again a clone and I think like one of the worst ones we've ridden of that rock yeah and it's right next to where they're building this coaster so they really could have expanded on the space that they were working with but such a great opportunity yeah Miss Six Flags New England does have a lot of family coasters um so that's why we were maybe hoping for something more thrilling you've got Wicked cyclone and Superman which are both crazy and then it kind of takes a dip in the thrill level I guess huge dip yeah the top two really stand out and then Dark Knight yeah and also a weird color choice because it looks very similar to flashback and it's just it's right there so it's just um there's there was room for creativity and I think that they kind of missed the mark on that one but it's not the end of the world yeah and at this point they might as well just demolish flashback anyway you could put nothing there you can put nothing there and it'll be an improvement exactly an empty lot would be better stop torturing people with that thing you're hurting us number five on our list we have rap Tera don't come on Snoop Tera that's the craziest name for a roller coaster I've ever heard in my entire life sir I after King's Island I'm just big big Snoopy fan yeah he had blast on that ride we should have bought him a t-shirt didn't know he liked it so much I may have ordered one so this is going to be the tallest fastest and longest Wing coaster from bnm Furious bako out in Port of ventur Spain is also coaster it goes a lot faster but that's built by intimate and it offers a very very different kind of ride uh we think rap Tera is a really good fit for Kings Dominion because their top two roller coasters right now are very intense ones in Twisted Timbers and especially I3 well project 305 now whatever they're going to name it and uh this one's going to offer a more uh graceful and Tamer ride experience and the generalu they they love these things they beat them up they sure do so I think rap Tera will be a good fit in that regard guard while this is going to be the tallest and fastest we don't really see this packing in too many forces besides that launch unlike Thunderbird at Holiday World which is in a more compact layout um so it's packed with just several forceful inversions and it's really forced to take advantage of the layout where this one seems to be more Meandering and elongated so lesser forces oh and awesome another airtime Hill on a wing coaster where you will get no Air Time come on BI like why look suffocated by these wests we think having airtime Hills is pointless when you have those restraints that just they really do feel like a straight jacket so it what a waste of time and effort yeah doesn't work on gatekeeper it doesn't work on Val Raven why would it work on this exactly and they just keep using them learn from your mistakes that being said the color scheme is absolutely gorgeous on this thing and it seems like they might go pretty heavy with the theming which I hope they do all those like pillars and like Temple theming I think this could be like really like Merc ride and next year is Kings the minions 50th anniversary so they really need to go all out with this including the U the rethe of project 305 give that a cool jungle theme whatever they're planning on doing uh don't don't botch it don't botch your 50th Anniversary like a great adventure did please what a disaster the one thing I was hoping to see in the animation that we didn't was a near Miss element uh these Wing coasters are like famous for like their near me their near misses like gatekeeper going through the keyholes at Cedar Point Thunderbird going through the barn like those are some of the best parts of those rides and I didn't see any for rap Tera so hopefully they can maybe uh put one in there somewhere like maybe going through like some trees or some temple ruins you know sneak it in for us please at number four we have the wrath of r [Music] shasa ah another B&M dive poster and this one's going to be a record breaker too it will have a 96° first drop making it the steepest beating out Dr diabolical and iron Menace by one full entire degree we're not sure that one degree will make a difference but we definitely feel the difference between the 95 degree drops and the 90 degree drops big time and the air time on the drops of the newer steeper ones is better than the older versions of much better and you better enjoy that air time because you know what's going to happen at the bottom of that drop right and you will not be getting any more air time on that ride enjoy it while it lasts folks additionally it will have five inversions giving it the record for dive posters this will be themed to rakasa a Hindu shape-shifting demon um we're glad it's not like the Joker 2.0 or anything like that just again another just IP slapped on for another IP just slapped on there for the sake of it no more superheroes no more superheroes we're over it the layout does look like it's more inspired than other dive posters so this does look like it's going to be more fun than previous ones we've written and it will be a good fit for the park because like we said the general public just eats these things up they do love them the gimmick of hanging up there before that big drop is definitely something that the general public loves it's just maybe not what we would have selected so far so yeah they have a really good coaster collection at Great America that being said they don't have a world class standout coaster and a park like Great America with this many roller coasters needs one of those so hopefully maybe that's the next one dive coasters as you know aren't really our favorite things but uh they're not building these for coaster enthusiasts they're building this for the families who live close by to the park that are going to go to the park and spend money and yeah like we were saying in public they love these things and but the next closest one is Cedar Point so they don't really have any in the area anyway so I mean it's a great fit for the park and they do get a ton of visitors I I think people will enjoy this the older models of these dive coasters are kind of forceless but they have the way better restraints like the over the shoulder ones and the new ones have terrible restraints and are kind of shaky so I know this is going to have the bad rest strs but hopefully this one is smooth like I don't know what's going on with B&M L and making shaky roller coasters very strange especially like within the first few weeks of the rides opening you're experiencing it yeah like penguin track just open a SeaWorld I hear that one has a rattle too and that's a family coaster iron Menace same thing Dr diabolico just goes on yeah so hopefully this and Rapa are smooth roller coasters exactly you've got it in you B&M I know you do make the wrath of Snoopy smooth and number three we have the flash Vertical Velocity I'm done I promise okay this is a super boomerang model from voma and it technically is a clone but the only other iteration is in China so it's safe to say that this will be most people's first experience on a ride model like this unless you're very well traveled yes which perhaps you are probably not this ride does look great we are looking forward to it it we offer a great mix of Hang Time and air time and it just looks like a lot of fun alog together Great Adventure was missing a launch and a shut coaster so that kind of checks off both these boxes for them which is nice to see and this does actually pay homage to a former attraction that was in that very near plot of land called Batman and Robin the chiller let me tell you about Batman and Robin the chiller that thing he to I've never been on it that was a fantastic launch coaster from Premier but unfortunately it was a maintenance nightmare I almost never saw the Batman side of that thing open I got to ride it maybe like twice and uh ultimately they had to remove the ride in 2007 because it just had so many problems and that was before I had ever visited this park so I have not been on that ride so yeah while the coaster itself is a good fit for the park the capacity it's going to offer is going to be atrocious Great Adventure gets absolutely slammed it's right in between Philadelphia and New York City and this is going to be nightmarish so this is the second Six Flags coaster on this list that was also slated to be open in 2024 couldn't get it done in time push to 2025 now and that's really sad because this year was their 50th Anniversary as we mentioned earlier and kind of a disaster didn't happen and like Cedar Point they were selling passes season passes for for a great adventure advertising The Flash that it would be open and using that as a major selling point actually and yeah here we are two very different circumstances but yeah both parks just selling uh season passes like these rids are going to be open but tail is Old Time yep and I was really hoping that now that they have this additional time and opening next year instead that they could have Incorporated a turntable and get get a second train from bakoma that would be ideal yeah to up the capacity because this C needs it but I've now seen photos of the station being built and it's quite small I don't think it's going to be able to house uh two tracks at the turntable in there unfortunately doesn't seem possible and it doesn't seem like they're going to demolish what they all already have built since it's already so late and so delayed yeah it's it doesn't seem like it's going to happen unfortunately so yeah you're either going to have to rope drop this ride buy a fast lane for it they're still on flash pass right I'm sure they'll eventually move over to fast lane or hunker down or hunker down and you know get ready for a really really long way get some snacks get ready also with all this additional time I think maybe they could remove the flash logo from the top of it put up our favorite beagle and go flash vertical Snoopy no huh I hate that one the least I'm imagining Snoopy running really fast and I kind of like it check that right the rest of them though you have enough time to repaint it yeah to put Snoopy up there on the top it'll be way better entire reth number two we have a mystery coaster that may be going to Six Flags Mexico so we're not exactly sure if this is going to be opening in 2025 um and we really haven't heard anything recently but we have seen pictures of the track in the parking very clear red voma track we think it may possibly be the canceled coaster that energyia was going to get a tilt coaster yeah they were supposed to get a tilt coaster the project got cancelled this red voma track ends up at Six Flags Mexico's parking lot other side of the world I don't know you tell me seems like a six FL thing to do to you know take a cancel drive from somewhere else on a discount maybe and bring it in who knows let it rot in a parking lot for a few months before you try to put it up I don't know and since it's a mystery right now you could them to anything where this is going a Snoopy thrilled tilt coaster are you kidding me heck yeah that would be sick so yeah if this is that tilt coaster from energy landia this is very exciting news for Six Flags Mexico depending on when kod land May ever get circuit breaker built I don't know that seems to be hitting roadblock after the roadblock this may be the first North American tilt coaster so that's pretty exciting stuff absolutely and if this isn't the Tilt coaster from energy land I'm assuming it's another super boomerang clone kind of like flash going to a great adventure in which case this coaster is still in the right place on this list or Tide actually I'll still put it ahead because it's a mystery theme and not theme to flash it might be Snoopy themed honestly so I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be didn't know he was so obsessed with Snoopy this is all brand new information to me Camp sopia Kings Island man really turn them all right and number one on the list is elen Fury this is a premier ride Skyrocket with an amazing looking custom layout this will be the tallest fastest longest launch coaster in Canada which is awesome sure he or Z they just built a thunderbolt out over in Vancouver and that had the uh the speed and um height record for uh in Canada but right now it is uh shortly it won't have those records anymore though El Fury will also have the most inversions of any coaster in Canada with nine that would be tying the US record so yeah the volcano replacement that Kings the minion fans were so excited for is finally here and it's going to the Wonderland I'm sure KD fans are uh pretty happy about that one right yeah absolutely hey they're getting that Wing coaster yeah looks awesome the R's theme is based on a mythical Legend like Fire and Ice elements within Wonder Mountain so that's pretty interesting I guess sounds cool to me not a superhero the Coaster's narrative ties in to the lore surrounding Wonder Mountain and this is going to be the fourth roller coaster that interacts with the mountain in some kind of way I love that that's really cool yeah between it setting multiple launches one of which shoots you through the peak of the mountain into an inverted Top Hat by the way along with its speed and length uh yeah this thing looks freaking awesome it's definitely going to be a hit and we're obviously excited for it since it's number one on our list here that being said we're not the biggest fan of premier's trains um it is a very tight fit in there um but at least we won't have those atrocious Comfort collar yeah capacity will also be an issue on this specifically because Canada's Wonderland does get a lot of visitors it is one of the most highly visited parks in the chain um so it's going to be a long line no matter what yeah the season there is so short so this place gets absolutely slammed yeah it's not going to be as bad as great adventur flash I think like that thing is nightmarish capacity with one train on there but it's not going to be good either so yeah what we're thinking is this is always going to have a super long line so even if like the coaster may be awesome for this park specifically probably not the best fit and the layout does look phenomenal our only concern is like towards like the later half a lot of the inversions may seem like a little repetitive but uh I guess we'll see hard to tell without getting on it first this coaster is going to be a big deal for Premier rides and we're really excited to see like what they can do and like very glad they're getting this opportunity to like yeah definitely showcase something spectacular and unique hopefully this is not a Batman or Robin the chiller type deal I hope not uh this is definitely an opportunity for them to deliver something perfectly unique and I'm excited to see how it turns out for them help and Snoopy let's go Snoopy so we waited a while to make this video because we were kind of maybe waiting on like Six Flags Magic mountains potential announcement and had this this weird steam steampunk bird hanging up in their park for a a few months now pretty much all season uh does mean with no announcement epic Thrills are cycling in like for me that sounded like motorcycles so maybe I was thinking like another intimate straddle coaster might have been going there yeah steampunky motorcycle ride that could be cool yeah um but we don't know nothing it might not even be a coaster who knows uh yeah so we're not going to wait around for their non announcement the day after this video gets released they're going to announce like a gig coaster it probably happened while we were making this honestly so we might find out in minutes we're really hoping with this merger that Six Flags can adopt the Cedar Fair policy of opening their new roller coasters on opening day what a or like in general like not late summer or like not never not the next year after you said it was going to open on time let's yeah let's try to get it together here well there you have it folks our rankings for the uh hopefully y upcoming 2025 coasters in the Six Flags chain uh do
