well Eric obviously it's a a really disappointing day how and why do you think you were beaten today and and by such a convincing score line as well we make mistakes and they were very clinical um in finishing and they did very well did you actually feel like you'd made quite a good start to the game and then it seemed to become really open and it felt like Liverpool attackers were running at your Defenders time and again no I don't think so if I see all the chances we conceded I don't think that's what happened I think we make mistakes uh all the three goals are mistakes from from us individual erors and maybe about the last one you can debate where is our double six but all the others I think um yeah Liverpool the brilliant how they took over the turnover and how they finished was so good but it didn't and I saw the XD that wasn't that high so your opinion of the game would be three goals from AK sure but the the general play of the game was quite even is that your view of it no it's it's uh don't Accu this it's clear and deserve Inn Liverpool and we have to be humble we have to take this and then improve our game it was no surprise that casemiro came off at halim was it almost a a kindness to him to to take him off after such a difficult first half or you just thinking no this is what the team needs the last one one that is what the team needed you know when you are two no down against Liverpool they are so good in uh you have to take more risk it will be more open and so that is my assessment is logical when you are losing the game against Liverpool you have to take more risk and I have to give a compliment to the team and they they kept fighting they kept sticking together but the ground what you have to cover is is is bigger and then you bring a player as Toby Kia and he has big great legs he can com for the ground how did casemiro take the news at halftime for a player of that status to be taken up at halim it's quite a big thing did he accept the decision okay it's um you know the game he knows the game and and he will go on we will go on it's a great player and we will continue in the season to improve the team but also improve the players do you think he can come again I mean it's maybe not a nice question to ask but physically at 32 is there still more to give do you think he he improved of he showed so often that he's a great character and um yeah we all have seen but we all have seen great moments from him and be decisive for us in the Midfield and he will show it again I'm sure he will bounce back is the worry with today I don't know if you'd agree with this that it felt a lot like last season it was obviously a difficult League campaign last season but similar in terms of you conceded three goals and you conceded a lot of chances on your goal did it feel like last season I don't think you are right but you I just say I saw the XD how which we conceded we didn't concede so many goals and no I don't have the feeling that we are in the same pattern because uh I didn't see it we I think it was some sometimes open but we took risk and I think I have seen cool things but I don't want to talk about this after a defeat from trino against Liverpool well done Liverpool uh all the compliments we have to be humble and we have to improve our team I know you just said you don't want to talk about it but there did feel like a bit of positivity going into today particularly what You' done in the transfer window couple of performances know you lost at Brighton but does does this sort of take away that feeling of positivity is that the worry that it sort of sets the tone no not for me I know many games to play and I know where we will be in the end of the season and many games many leagues and we will go for trophies and uh that will that will stand I was interesed to hear you say in the week that you feel like it's you know beginning I think you said beginning of a of a life cycle still a team in transition it's obviously start of your third year now how long will this transition take Eric do you think but in the two years we took two prices and also in the end of this season we will see where we are and yeah of maybe a hand ball as well but the fact I thought when the cross came in initially I mean it's brilliant from moal I mean if that was on his left foot we say it was a great cross but doing that on his right foot and soosai does well and Diaz does even better to make sure he finds the back of the net you have to give credit to gra bir on that goal as well cuz he won it back and also played the past to cah Gary about this one but the these this isn't this isn't sort of like um you know High pressing or brilliant defensive work Manchester United's in possession play in those deep areas was absolutely terrible when they lose but it's when they lose it it's where the fullback is it a setup issue is it a setup issue where that Central Midfield player that that deep pivot is getting the ball there are no options for they're not Dave they're individual errors they're individual errors that basically are terrible areas you know when we played at United me and Danny would go forward and leave our two center backs on the ball and with Roy Keane and all Paul SKS and if they give the ball away we'd been a bit of trouble but they didn't do it that often would High Gary he wouldn't be that high from that position I don't think so not to two of you do you have sympathy then with casemiro and also kobby Mayu in in what when they're receiving the ball what's in front of them well not get the ball if you like now I don't think there really is one I think it's a bit like individual player a Midfield player does something good then he'll finds a nice pass in three games under an ni slot I can see two or three things with the Midfield players like for instance today mallister they've got a patter of play going where when it comes to me he goes One Touch he done it three times today that's something that you know you've worked on there was one the one where I said I think in commentary where they play a couple of passes then he get into salah's feet you can see that after Midfield you look up and it's a bit like anybody could be in any position making any different run and remember last year United how many home G how many home games did United do last year and we were here a couple of weeks ago and if Fulham were a little bit better they would have punished man united but the fact is today so United are making the same mistake from last year they' done it so far to far away it's not yeah yo as well a young kid would really not sure what we're going to what we're going to get with them and no I think the back five could be okay but I still think in front of that we we are going to be show you see the area the pitch three goals today were three Mistakes by Midfield Midfield players really and again the attacking third was just nowhere near the likes of what we've seen today from Liverpool Marcus rashford is his confidence is shut to Pieces when he should be taking people and he's turning back and it's it's not like him gacho's still young we still got to fitter they look more athletic but they also have more quality I think that was a concern I think the likes of Manu might take a bit of time to get going I thought Bruno Fernandez looks a bit sluggish so obviously KN game hasn't played and that was that was a big thing that struck me now we're only ear in the season but there are things that would worry are the team working hard enough behind the scenes to be as fit as they should be they just didn't look fit enough well they've had that many injuries and it must be playing in their mind as well mustn't they they've had so many injuries over the last couple of Seasons under under ten har and that's that's another problem and then if you start second guessing yourself should we train should we should we go a little bit easier but you know no such problems for Li Michael was going to say as well they keep bringing Center off off now if you've got a center half you can't get through again that's a big concern mean that tells me they're not fit enough straight from the off you only to bring Center Center back four should always stay together really you might bring the odd right back off here and there if you're resting people but two Center should be there for the full game and it's been the first three games and they changed Center back how can a center back not be fitting enough I know and and I wouldn't mind but that was a problem position that there's so many you mentioned before the games how many different Partnerships they've had so you'd think there'd be one area that they'd want to to work to to keep quite stable and let's get it right center halfes you look at all the stats all the numbers they do less running than anybody on the pitch by the goalkeeper so it's not like it's a a huge that's what I'm saying they should be there for 19 minutes if I'm sure they can I don't know I don't know why he just keeps chopping and changing I mean no you can have your excuse of the Euros can't you say it takes a little bit of time to get going of course it is but Liverpool have players are as well other teams have got players there you don't see them struggling I said to Michael right at the start that's
