US Open 2024 you had your one of your biggest successes at the Grand Slam stage here in New York what is it what you like about New York how is your relationship with the city and Flushing Meadows yeah it's it's it's it's a lot of mixed feelings I think over over the course of my career here I I won the Juniors uh some time ago so I I really like the city you know it's it's a it's a lot of a a lot of a grind I always I always say that especially these weeks because it's sort of where the where the year comes down to to to an end after that for us we have you know New York and I don't know like four or five tournaments by the end of the year so you try to give everything you have in a way like on on this slam uh physically and mentally so you just try to prepare the best way possible this is all I've been doing and we know that you're a very good friend of Serena Williams uh how can we imagine being in a friendship with Serena Williams how is that like oh it's amazing we had a lot of fun just I think all I think for for so many years obviously venas and Serena of course uh I think both of them all three of us we have such a great relationship and we often chat we have a group chat we we we sharing a lot of thoughts and and funny moments so I always I always tell them if I'm always in the end of the tournament uh especially in the slams I mean they they say they're going to come and support so um you know it's it's it's it's humbling as well in the same time to have such a you know not not even like how can I say not even stars but like such a such a good heart harded people like especially in our game and with so much experience and just Legend overall in our sport so I always been very grateful of that and I feel like also I can always lean on them if if there's uh there's something is in in any type of topic especially on tennis Serena is known for to be maybe the outfit queen of tennis very special outfit very special style and you're maybe the king uh in the on the man's side many people love your outfits so is it you that pick the outfits or how is this style combined yeah we we always try to combine that together I think with uh uh with our sponsors especially with uh with LA cost I wish I think there's even more room for that I really hope that uh we can make that make that happen maybe more in the future uh I love being creative and I love coming out with new things so hopefully we can uh we can continue to evolve and make a make amazing things ahead what would be your dream outfit I don't know I I haven't really like thought about it I think I had a lot of out over the years you know I think that i' that I've always liked but I um I don't know I have to think on that and hopefully hopefully I get the the opportunity to do it one day and and I think for me it's you know it's it's always privileged when you when you are something that you really feel comfortable in because I I believe is very important when you're out there on the court at the end you get the opportunity to show us your German skills we ask everyone as a German channel uh how's your German what can you say I don't know zus Viet uh um B Mar do I don't know stuff like that s so you make you can say goodbye Alida is in yes Al is in al is in
