God I know what it's like to be here in your Shadow God I know what you want me to be where you want me to go and I'm sorry I'm not a better example a better human a better hero I'm sorry I'm not a better example of [Music] you God I know what it's like to wake up scared of the day ahead God I know what it's like to want to stay in bed and I'm sorry I'm not a better example a better human a better hero I'm sorry I'm not a better example of [Music] you oh [Music] [Music] and I know what it's like to be betrayed by the ones I [Applause] [Music] L cherish bear my heart to be embarrassed be afraid to look them in the eyes and say I'm through we through and I'm sorry I'm not a better example better human better hero sorry I'm not a better disciple a better student a better child I'm sorry I not a better example of you yes I'm sorry I'm not a better example of you that was a very very strong strongly emotional um song I feel like it was um balanced out between uh the words being very strong and her voice being so soft and I also felt like her um her message could have been to a cluster of people rather than just one individual person but definitely something very personal and something very close to her heart and I think many people feel sometimes that they don't me measure up and I feel like that's what this song seemed to be about about not measuring up to some expectations other people put on you is this something that I'm putting these expectations on myself or is it really outward expectations and how to kind of find that sort of place where you can make peace with that and say it's okay that I failed because tomorrow I'll try again or you know to say it's enough for for now and I will keep trying and I'll keep um doing the best I can because sometimes that's all you can do is just do the best you can and sort of make resolve and peace within yourself for understanding that we are limited as people in how much we can do and we can't compare ourselves to others because when we compare ourselves to others we start to see ourselves as all the different ways in which we are different and trying to measure yourself up to someone else is only going to make you feel less than um and that's why that's another reason why comparison is the thief of Joy um but still a very very hard-hitting song and very very worth listening to thank you for recommending it
