is live at Mountain High. Chelsea Christine, this is an incredibly dynamic fire and an active one with an active fight. We're seeing a lot of scenes like this as we drove up to Mountain High Resort on either side of the highway. Look at this. You've got a lot of spot fires that are going largely unchecked. Large trees that you can see just smoldering, burning logs, lots of embers that are all over the place. This fire, still at 0% containment. Flames are visible from all aroundnd Ws Wrightwood as the bridge bridge fire continues to rage through the Angeles National Forest, exploding to more than 49,000 acres. Hopefully I can see to get out of here. Oh, boy. This cell phone video shows active flames on either side of highway two, taken by a resident manager of Mount Care near Mountain High Resort. When I got here, yeah, I don't even know how to describe it. Like Armageddon, like. I mean, all #### broke loose. Really. Though flames consumed parts of the Christian camp, the main buildings were spared, which Li considers a miracle. When you look at the evidence, it's pretty evident that God's hand was in saving the camp. It's burnt everywhere except the buildings. Yeah, it's incredible. In the nearby town of Wrightwood, a different story where 13 homes were destroyed. Another 20 lost in the Mount Baldy area, but some Wrightwood residents are staying put despite a mandatory evacuation order and despite the ever changing conditions on the mountain. I'm pretty confident I can make sure that at least my house and my neighbor's houses are safe. Last night was pretty crazy because of the wind came through here, I couldn't even see the neighbor's house from the smoke. It was so thick. And talk about that smoke. It is so incredibly thick here at Mountain High Resort. You can barely hear it, or you can just see it and smell it. You can taste it. It's just really intense out here right now. The good news is the temperature has dropped significantly. We're only at about 57 degrees here at Mountain High right now. But again, firefighters have a very long fight ahead of them.
