weon weren't weren't detailed enough weren't precise weren't detailed enough that's one of our pillars on offense and that's not something we did that's not something I did enough uh to to make this team be successful on third downs and you know if you can't convert on third Downs you can't move down the field and you can't sustain drives and score points so and then you can't give our defense time to come off the field and and rest so falls on me as a quarterback to to keep us moving on those third downs and and I I need be better at that do you feel that the outcome today was more a result of something that Texas gave you that maybe you weren't anticipating or execution on your that all execution by us um we we we I didn't do enough I shot myself shot Us in the foot too many times um and you know we didn't do enough offensively to uh you know and it it was on us you know they they you know they're they're a good football team uh they played well today but um we we sh ourselves in the foot and and and let them win that football game and I think um you know we do some things differently I do some things differently and and that's a closer game in the fourth quarter and then you know it's whoever's you know makes the most plays in the fourth quarter and those are the type of games that we want to be in and and um you know we knew it was going to be a tight game and then you know we we we we let them let them off too easy so it's it's a really crappy feeling because we we knew that I know know that this room uh this offense this team has what it takes uh to win that football game and we didn't do it so um just a lot of reflection a lot of things we need to work on a lot of things I need to work on and we're going to I'm confident though that we're going to do those things we're going to face adversity right in the face I mean we haven't lost you know a regular season game here in a while so I think everyone has taken it uh super seriously um you know the only people that are going to come back into sham on on Monday are the guys who are going to want to to work in to be better and are going to know that that we have what it takes and have full confidence in this team to to make it happen because we're better than what we showed today and um and the only way to to prove that is is to go do it uh next Saturday because that game coming sat next Saturday is coming whether we like it or not so uh I know that that the guys in the room and and all of us were going to be prepared to to go out there and and flip the script
