The one, the only, the goat, Tom
Brady, who joins us right now. Hey, TB. The new TB. Yes good to see you, Kurt. You're still getting to
the stadium 3.5 hours before kickoff, right? Just casual Sunday here. What happened this morning? Did anything big happen
today in the nfl? Lots of news, including
dak getting resigned. If you take a look at
it, the last two weeks, the cowboys have
committed $376 million to ceedee lamb and dak Prescott. Micah Parsons still not paid. The head coach is
in his final year. Jerry says the
cowboys are all in. You've been around organizations
that have been all in. Do you feel like the
cowboys are indeed all in going into the season? Well, obviously it
seems like it today with the news of dak's
contract and what happened with kd last week. They are all in. And this is an
organization where they have huge expectations
every single year and coming off a 12 win season
last year, unfortunately a playoff disappointment. But they're looking to
get back to that situation and perform better
in the playoffs. That's why they make
these investments to get back to the playoffs
and win those games. You know, Tom, to get
to the super bowl, obviously you got to
make the playoffs. And Prescott is two and
five in playoff games. Not won a super bowl yet. Hadn't even got to
a championship game and it seems like our league
is just full of stats. Everything's all about stats. He has the stats. Yeah, but when you
look at him, what do you see in Prescott
that amazes you or that you think is so special? Well, I think coming
out of Dallas, they all believe in
him as a as a leader. He's got a great work ethic. I think he sets the tone
every single day in practice. And I think there's that's what
you ask of your quarterback. You want him to come in if
you're going to commit that type of money to the leader
of the franchise, they need him to set the
example and he does that. Now they haven't had
the playoff success, but I think you look at a lot
of quarterbacks in the league and people thought
that way of John elway until he won back
to back super bowls. So I think he's a
terrific player. He had a great season last year. We'll see what he
does this year. The hopes are high. There's big expectations. The team's counting on him. And if you want the
pressure on anybody and you're a real competitor,
you want it on yourself. You're the quarterback,
you're the leader. They make the investment. You want to go out there
and prove that the decision they made is right. Well, you know what? I think we made a right
decision because we got you calling this game, man. You're with us here at fox. No one no one handles
pressure better than you. No one prepares more than you. No one has shown
the results of that just in your football career. But now you're talking
about football. You're talking about
the game, talking about the players you have. This national audience is
going to be watching no more rehearsals because
we know you did all the work behind the scenes. How are you feeling right now? You're I'm done with
all the rehearsals. Thank god I had more
time in a dark closet in the studios in La. I'm so happy to be
here in Cleveland. It's 65 degrees, it's sunny. And look, I want to
cut it loose, too. I want to be able
to get out there and get some live reps too. I'm really excited about today. I got the best team. I'm so happy to be
on your guys team. It's a pleasure for me. It's an honor to be here
to call this game in front of so many millions
of fans watching and it can't get here
any sooner than 430. I'm ready to go. Let's go. Let's go. You know, and I'll
tell you what, Tom. Hey, for somebody who's
been at this for a bit now, you're going to enjoy this a
little bit better in some way because you're not
sore the next day. You don't get blamed
for losing anything. Trust me, it's a pretty
glorious life now. It's just football. Tom good luck, partner. Good luck, my friend. The one thing I don't
know if you knew Tom.
