Chicago Bears Fill Out Practice Squad!

Joel hold on the ones and twos what's going on what's Happening we got your boy the man the myth the legend cdub in the building what is going on my boy and of course you have me Mr mey that guy whatever you want to call me for the day five Stakes yeah whatever just go ahead and crack on me I don't care I know Grady's probably not in the chat yet but what is going on it is a beautiful Thursday of course we know Pat has been taking some time to himself with the family this past week so uh we're fing in for him shout out to Pat man he's you know getting a little alone time with the family and uh he will be back soon I think PK might not be coming in so you got us three you got the trio right today so we're going to get into a lot of information we're going to discuss a lot of things of course with the Chicago Bears first on the docket we got the Hard Knocks reaction we know episode four came out this past Tuesday and so since we didn't react to that and we didn't have a show on Wednesday we're going to touch on that today and then of course we have some names coming uh down on to the practice squad some names that we were happy that uh we retained and then a few new names as well of course you know the practice squad is an interchangeable thing so we'll get into that and then finally we're going to discuss rival by rival in the NFC North the Green Bay Packers the Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings and how they match up with us and you know how we think they're going to Fair we're going to be very fair in our assessment of these teams we know we're biased we know we're Bears fans but we're just going to go into like what do we think of them as competition and the type of challenge that they'll give us during the season so shout out to everybody in the four of the Bears heart knocks and the reaction to it lot of lot of important things happening a lot of pivotal uh things happening in episode 4 it was it was more of an emotional episode uh uh once we get into it and so we're just G to go around what you got for me seub days of our lives right man Days of Our Lives I know right yeah yeah this is just really emotional and so uh we're just going to get into it of course in the chat we wanted to see what uh what you guys found to be uh pretty imp pivotal points in the in the uh Hard Knocks video but uh I'll just kick it off uh to start off I really was impressed or I shouldn't say impressed I I I found it funny this bad cop good good cop routine that uh the running backs coaches do with Ian Willer that's what the video kind of started off with man they uh are going back and forth you had the running backs coach Chad mortyn and I believe Jennifer King correct me if I'm wrong is the is the assistant running backs coach shout out to her as well being a part of the staff and they play this like this good cop bad cop thing with with uh Ian Willer because they want to make sure that they get the most out of him Ian Willer is a guy who kind of like he always comes off like he's kind of whole huming everything and he's like oh I'm just here you know I'm just trying to do my job you know okay give me the ball all right yeah Dr Wheeler yeah but but on the football field you know Chad Morton show shows some tough love and you you appreciate that that actually was shown in a couple of the episodes you know he kind of kind of gets on him a little he cracks on him a little bit but I I think that's really good because he see the potential in Ian Willer I believe Ian Willer man that man runs a a 43 43 man that's not nothing to sneeze at I mean doctor that runs that there Jord no that's nothing to sneeze at I mean hey 43 is that's Olympic that that is Olympic speed that's Olympic speed yeah we got a doctor that can run all right all right so if anybody is in in emergency room he's in the second floor he gets in the first floor pretty quickly yeah I'm just saying all right so I thought that that was really really uh uh uh good that they keed in on that because they want him to kind of recognize his potential right his talents and what he can do they said that he needed to work on his his Pad level you know don't just go in just trying to like you know meet the the the defensive line you know you want to go in and try to like hit somebody you know let them know that you're there make them feel you and so I thought that that was pretty cool uh what did you guys see as far as uh the the episode what reactions did you all see yeah man um I kind of it's funny I just seen crimson's uh uh text or message that's the same way I feel I honestly I've never seen hard hard knocks before until the season really me too for real first time but you know what I I didn't think that it was so storyline drama Feld I was expecting more like football stuff more like maybe more swearing more cursing like I think the Bears had something to do with that cuz it says it says uh uh language right it says uh TVM made with for the language but we we never hear language in the videos right I mean I don't have to have you know the the cursing and the swearing but I Ain Li it's football you know what I mean you expect it get that you know I I didn't see I never got any of that but um I I do uh some things I was thinking about I'm thinking back to a couple days ago watching that episode uh the Jennifer King and and the Chad Morton thing was probably the biggest Focus I feel like because of what you got with Ian Willer uh but you know I I definitely think that uh Caleb Williams just seems so poised man he seems so ready to go uh he almost seemed bored in the in the video room when they was talking to him about about making sure when you spike the ball you don't take a step backwards or whatever the case may be yeah so which is something I didn't even know I didn't even know that was a rule per se that you can get penalized for that so it's good that they going over those things and making sure that the Bears are all the players are up to speed U at least that's what it looks like yeah no that was unfortunate I know they showed like a the clip of uh I don't know what the two the team was but he was saying basically this is what happens this is like the detriment like you're in a clutch moment like at the end of the game and you know the guy took one step back like you don't want him to take any step back because first off there's a runoff of the time there's a loss of downs and if you don't have a timeout then that's it like there there's a lot that can go into it and so that just you know just standing still making sure that you just spike the ball straight down so yeah that's something that should be practiced uh obviously Caleb and even flu had a laugh about that he was like are we serious he was like hey man that's what the guy told me that's that's what you need to practice so that was uh pretty important to see that's pretty cool to kind of get an inside look on some of those rules and the spe uh specifics um another thing that really impressed me was uh I'm really loving the the Adrien coar uh report if you will the the the the guy is yeah the the Mystic the the the dude has a lot of Zen to him like I didn't realize like he's into the cryst yeah yeah he got the little sound what do he call it the sound bowl or something yeah the S sign is and all that stuff yeah yeah yeah shout out to Adrien coar I even though I didn't realize that he's played for 10 teams on in eight seasons that's kind of yikes You' played for more teams than you've been in the league gez there's probably a reason why he's doing a lot of that stuff oh we got 100 in the chat by the way oh we got aund in the chat 100 in the chat yes sir yes sir yes sir appreciate the love appreciate the support um yeah I was impressed by that but I I I like the way the cam the the the production quality was pretty funny to me because when they kept panning to him like doing that little meditation moment then they then they switched over to the Rah when uh the the beijan uh uh bent's father was in a wrestling tournament I mean an armed wrestling tournament yeah and and it was like like meditation one moment the next going back to yeah yes it was like what is going on here I think they purposely did that but I just want to ask you all a question do you think there was a little bit of theatrics on that in that in that armed wrestling or do you think that was actually the normal I think that's you you have to get oh you talking about when he brought all the way down yeah yeah yeah and then he acted like he was like losing a little bit and then I think it was a little bit active no no why would they set him up that dude was a world champion armrest why wouldn't he win but they like Hey listen we got hard KN here we got to put on the show we got true you know it reminds so there's been a number of episodes I I remember I remember the Texans one when JJ Watt was on there and they were like all right now we're gonna go down and do the workout for JJ you know what he's doing the ropes and this the light is all dark and it was all produced I was like you were haming for the camera like come on now stop it yeah yeah yeah no no I I I appreciated it but I thought there was a little little bit of playing to the camera and playing to the crowd a little bit because here's the thing and I know I don't know if anybody's favorite movie one of my favorite movies for sylvest Salone is over the top because that's what they were playing and then when they played that music I was like I like teleported back to that movie he was like when a oh Los t a fall he had his hand like this I was like oh that's syv that's the stallon baby that was that was why I thought it was theen oh you got to watch over the top over was it Zeus the tiny list of Zeus wasn't he in that Tommy yes yes he was yeah yeah yeah oh my God that was that was that was the movie I appreciate that movie man that was a good one but uh yeah that's why I thought there was a little bit of play into that but uh of course the the most emotional part of the Hard Knock is what I think everybody uh kind of came away with of course that's how it ended as well is when it finally got to game time game four of the preseason with the Chiefs uh what does he say the finisher yeah Ian will and that's what we about to talk about Ian will have me man it gets you in your Fields because you know they I I want to say her name was Bara I think Bea wheeler yeah wheeler they were panning to her and you know he was basically saying like you know I'm telling my son to go out there you know I know he's a doctor but just go out there and have fun you know just just have fun don't don't be too stressed they did real good building that story up didn't they they did yeah they absolutely did and and he was doing a good job they they he had a touchdown but then I think because of a penalty it got taken away uh because I believe the quarterback went went past the line of gain or or whatever and uh so they had to bring it back so then when they gave it to him again he kind of got in between the crowd and uh unfortunately it was reported that he had a torn ACL he'll be out for the season and you could just see just how emotional his mom got in the stands you know had her her head in her hands uh going to see him after the game you know that hug lasted about a good three minutes three or four minutes time was like Frozen in time but I mean you feel that you feel like those type of things aren't fake that that that that to me was very very genuine you know even though the camera was there it was it was really emotional to see uh uh uh Ian Willer have to go through that but you also you can tell the love and the support that he's getting what do we got we got a Super Chat oh shout out to Dan Tana been a member for 29 months Brie Superman says yo on the day my channel made 11,000 Subs man now that stood out did you see the reaction of how the players were reacting to Caleb Williams like he got he's getting that respect like they see they know he the truth they're like absolutely hey man big things for you dog yeah keep it up dog yeah you don't get nervous dog okay oh yeah yeah mle Hardman uh they were talking before the game mcole Harman said I like was that just for the camera or do you really get nervous because you know like first game you got to let me know if you get nervous and he was like I mean you'll see I'll let you know you see I ain't nerv he's so he's so swaggy with his comments man like he just like yeah yeah yeah it's all good I can do everything it's all good baby you know this is what I do this is what I was born to do I came out the womb with the football my you all found impressive about the hard KN reactions what you got I'm still how many more episodes we got left was it six episodes left for this season for hard Hardo six more or six per two more total like two more episodes to go five episodes it should be four but because we have the extra week so I feel like we haven't spent enough time on Roma dunesday we haven't spent he was in the episode to I didn't mention that you know they had go shop for candy yeah I mean the rookie treatment uh I get it oh they did oh oh boy did Chief Keef had them all lit up oh Ian Willer oh if gas what I smoke yeah that was cold think he had the best performance out of everybody I'm going be hon he had the best crowd response of everybody he didn't hard you think that was the best performance didn't know the words to shake your dress oh no he was just yeah he was just doing this theow everybody knew that song the whole that's the whole point of like when you do stuff like that like karaoke it's not so much about look at me I'm a somewhat average singer than trying to sing in front of the world it's hopefully I'm singing songs that everybody can sing along and go along with and so when you can get the crowd into it you going to every time we were on the cruise last year right this guy I forgot what his name LV whatever he said his name was couldn't sing a lick he gets up there and does purple rain oh and L you purple and they all the whole place erupt getting a standing ovation can't sing a lick but the but the personality comes through all that so that's what a lot of this is if you can just run control the crowd you know and win that's that's what that's the whole the point of it yeah yeah yeah no that's that that's a fact and I think veis was up there too with him with the glasses on like being his hyp man or something man speaking of veis Jones and of course that's what we should have open with if I had enough I swear I wanted I what I wanted to do so bad was run that video back if veis Jones makes a team I'm buying you a I know but I want to redo that's probably why P kid ain't here today he's running away got a whole new he got some Debs that's D hey I think I think that I think that team JY might be on the back might as well say see dub in the back because that's what it is me before Z yeah man I think that I think that Pat Uh I think that uh PK might be giving you a Teemu version of the Jersey the NFL version man I don't know if he gonna pay9 something dollars for for might be incremental payments he finally pay up I was like I was want with break get Justin Fields Jersey for $5 it's put uh bro oh my God that though I did feel like it did it not feel like if wheeler would have made the team and think would have been on the outskirts I'mma Be honest with you at this point man V got got pictures of every single person in the organization I I think he's Untouchable I don't know if I Ian Willow would have made this no I I I take that back Ian Willow if not if he didn't get injured he probably would have made the 53 man roster but I don't think that would have kicked veis out the door I I think veis for whatever reason would have and I shouldn't say for whatever reason I shouldn't say for whatever reason see I'm becoming Paris now I've been I'm becoming Paris now I should say that veis did show up and show out during the Chiefs game man he had a really nice run he showed his speed he showed his his cutback ability his agility like everything was on display he had a touchdown so I will say this veis definitely proved to a degree that maybe he could be a spelled running back we already got a ton of running backs right we got DeAndre Swift he's the obvious bcow of the group we got khil Herbert we got Roshan so in my opinion somebody has to get hurt to in order for veis to really get some carries or some time at running back unless they use him in gadget plays but you know what this could be a benefit to so now that they have they have so the depth chart is Swift khil Herbert uh what other team is hurting right lose a running back okay khil Herber is primed to be traded so that's that's Trad wait wait wait wait wait you would you would trade him before trading veis if if somebody needed a running back well I'm I'm just saying no no no I'm saying you'll get more in return for KH right okay I see what you say the you might get what a six round maybe something like that if defit yeah you might get a six you know mean so honestly like if we trade someone like KH Herbert you possibly get like a fourth or fifth or whatever the case may be it's just more value and so you're still going to need that third that thre man running back team so that's probably why ve is still sticking around he got a lot of potential too man I know everybody saying but the speed kills and the man got speed the way he was hitting those gaps and the way he hit that touchdown um uh the last preseason game yeah it's impressive man it really was no the the the tantalizing thing about V is the speed speed is always 42 something like it's nice to get a lot of speed on your team he's he has it's it's up here with him like it's also hands he needs better hands it's not that it's just that because he keeps thinking right completely got to the NFL so something made him get up there but he gets in the F the lights a little bit brighter but you know I think that um that's why you want to give him a shot because he is Shifty because he is fast yeah it's just that you know he has to stop making those mental mistakes but they keep trusting him like I was saying personally I'd rather not have to deal with that like oh he makes me nervous every time he gets out there yeah and he has to but he has he he had to build up the trust you know so each game now you're watching him and hopefully I mean he's GNA fumble in the future because it's it's well you think about think about like Tiki Barber Tiki Barber fumbled all the time he they he had to learn how to wrap the ball up and after a while he was solid every once in a while you might get a fumble out of him but you know with with he's a third round pick so so so you're you're banking on the talent kind of weighing out the the the the issues that we've all had with him the the occasional drops the occasional mental you know breakdowns you think he'll figure that out eventually say no I'm no what I'm saying is I think they are believing in that I think the ownership believe in that're the ones that's me I'm like you know I mean as you get older you see things play out over and over again so it's like after a while it's like you know they are who they are you know and you can believe and keep trying with people to a point but um I've seen it to where some someone like him could recover from it to a degree yeah it can happen but are you willing to risk that you know in pivotal moments so when the lights get bright we don't need you reverting back and then all of a sudden so it's like you know you're going to roll the dice with them and that's pretty much what they're doing yeah yeah no good point good point one last thing from the heart KN before we move forward in the next topic about the practice squad is uh I really really like the uh the emphasis on Austin Reed uh that was somebody that we retained we know we let go of R ripping who I believe was signed by someone recently he got picked up but we were able to retain Austin Reed on the practice squad um it showed him having a really good second half he played all of the second half and had a throw I want to say to Bates I know I believe that was Bates In The End Zone I could be wrong but I believe it was Bates in the endzone and you know you saw his family celebrating and so uh Austin Reed definitely showed up and showed out was able to kind of low raise his stock and value uh being on the team as well and I think that's one of the reasons why Ryan poles brought him back to be on the practice squad but with that being said we're going to get into our next topic on the Chicago Bears practice squad I believe you can only have is it 15 or 16 I believe it is 16 I have the list right here and of of course today there's been some updates because there's been a couple of players and of course practice squads are kind of interchangeable you kind of you kind of you know move things around a little bit uh perhaps there are some other players that you want to bring to the team but as currently standing or initially I should say standing you had them bring back Micah Baskerville linebacker I believe that's the uh yesterday's uh title Joel you got the superlatives up there oh yeah you know what you should uh update I got to change that around a little bit uh but yeah Michael basille who I was really Michael basille who I was really high on I mentioned it yesterday actually in the superlatives is one of those guys who I feel like kind of raised his stock and was somebody who was a sneaky performer you always saw his name um mentioned uh he seemed like he was always you know in in on tackles in the trenches like he he showed up and show out throughout those four uh preseason games and so uh definitely glad that they they brought him back uh shaneo ma says 17 I believe it's 16 I'm looking right here at 16 uh for the practice squad I believe is the official number of course you got also Carl Jones there's Ro Terren the quarterback defensive tackle Byron coward we know that's a name that was brought in uh with Ryan poles jamer chroma defensive end Sam Roberts that's one of the names that I believe was a new name that got added to the practice squad today from I want to say the Houston Texans um and want to fact check me on that but B uh uh Sam Roberts is a name there tarious Mo the safety Long Snapper Scott Daly uh I believe Scott Daly was brought in because I believe is there an issue with Patrick man not Patrick manaly uh Patrick scale Long Snapper yeah the Long Snapper I believe I think he got hurt yeah I believe he got hurt so there's a reason why they brought a Long Snapper in and so we'll have to see what goes goes on with that hopefully Patrick scales makes it back soon but they have a backup for that of course you got Austin Reed on there Theo benedet American Eagle we got the guy that sang in his underwear coming on back to the squad yeah shout out to Theo benedet and little thing on the um the 17th Player thing so it says a 17th player can be added this season if he's a qualifying International player uh so lul it's a stipulation for them to be able to add a 17 player to the practice squad but uh maybe that's where someone in the chat might have got that mixed up I guess right right and baky I appreciate you the Patriots that's where uh Sam Roberts came from thank you for that I appreciate that so yeah uh be Theo Benedict Chris glaze offensive lineman Jake Curran offensive lineman samori T I believe was the other person that got picked up uh wide receiver and then Colin Johnson we talked about a name that uh before he got injured really impressed in that first Hall of Fame game with the two touchdowns uh he impressed you can't teach height and so that was something that stood out I was really happy that uh they brought him back as well because uh Colin Johnson is a name even though our wide receiver room is very very deep um you just you can't go wrong with more depth and so I I appreciated the fact that they brought him back or he was able to come back and he didn't get picked up and then last but not least tight end Stephen Carlson uh has been added to the practice squad so any names to you guys uh that that stood out oh and by the way I I actually mentioned this name last quarterback ready Stewart I was very very happy that ready Stewart came back I was scared that somebody was going to get him I mean this guy has been impressive impressive uh since day one with the picks uh being a ball Hawk being in the right place at the right time just impacting the game uh the way he knows how like I said he's been this way since he played in college and so he's just continuing what he's very good at and so I'm glad that despite the depth we have at clearly at cornerback uh that we retained ready Stewart and he's still in the building what are you guys thinking also it was uh someone just posting some oh Dan Tana he was saying uh he glad that they had kept wheeler because they were saying kind of like a red shirt for him yeah yeah that was one of the things at the end of the uh the the the Hard Knocks episode him and Ryan po mentioned that and po was cool about that too right you know man call me if you need me I'm here if you need to cry if you need to vent whatever I'm here I'm here my phone's always was showing that player's uh first mentality as a g he's a player GM that's that's pretty cool he's he's making his his uh he's making his case to be a alltime GM man all time GM I don't know I'm gonna be honest with you just speaking on that briefly I don't know if other GMS do that I'm pretty sure there's other GMS that kind of you know have that same remorse and same connection with their players to a degree but seeing it like with our team and seeing Ryan Poes be this way and the way that he treated Justin Fields going out and say hey where do you want to to go okay I'll take the L by getting a six round pick back with stipulations if you play Four fourth but I'll let you go where you feel you can be brought up and trained up the best so if you want to go to Pittsburgh a really great organization do that I feel like he really takes care of his players when he doesn't have to he does right by his players he does right yeah I mean that's well it's good business and I'm sure there are other GM we don't know that I mean there's are there are reports of some GMS that were notoriously just cutthoat the one I thing I think was it maybe the Chargers GM for years with someone he he was kind of cut throat okay yeah charges won like they didn't I think was it Dean Spanos or was he the owner I can't remember um other GMS that stand out I mean like you know there's Cowboy Jason light is a yeah well Jason light from uh I think he was a GM you had the guy Chris balor's a GM for Chris Balor definitely for the uh Colts you had uh Jerry Reese I think was a good GM for the Giants I mean I don't know aie uh aor wased like he that they appreciate for the most part and maybe that's the thing you just learn and why Azie new had a very long run there and you're able to get players to come and play for you and I think it goes a long way where you know in this generation he's p is a younger GM was he like 36 37's 38 yeah so he's he's closer to the younger generation that's a good point players versus like some of the old long you know old guys like Ernie accy or um you know the King maker my man um who was U who did he was Buffalo and the Colts um poon oh B you know those guys those guys are kind of out the way like a different Generation Well they just they thought more it was more business players were here versus we are the team we lord over this stuff buddy buddy yeah yeah like you're not like I mean even Parcels was quoted for being you know saying like some if you want me to you know cook the dinner at least let me get some of the groceries you know famous saying used to say all the time so you know to get polls I mean we've had Pace Jerry Angelo uh I mean I think it was Jerry Venice and and U the other guys back in the day um but to have it looks like polls is a more player first GM and that's it means a lot especially because we've seen we here in Chicago definitely know what our GMS are like yeah when you think about the Jerry crosses yeah I'm just yeah you well yeah them you got the garx I mean uh Krauss is synonymous you don't want someone to hate you like I think Krauss did so good for his the owner yeah but he ostracized himself from the players oh yeah know the players hat so they don't love you you're you're getting booed wherever you go they mention your name you're getting booed and they get mad at everybody else like this man is dead and they still B they still B they booed his white they like that was messed up crazy work Chicago got to do better with that one yeah you're absolutely right but I I think just he's a younger GM and it's like it might be the Best of Both Worlds with him that coming from Kansas City came from a winning organization and looks like he soaked up a lot of good information on how to build Squad but he's got that right balance of discipline and a little bit of some of the and some shrewdness yeah you know so he won't he'll restrain himself like Pace I like that he made Moves but sometimes he was like you know he available it didn't seem like he even wanted to talk to the media like get out in front of people and at least explain your process and and you know what what you're thinking I feel like he didn't he didn't he didn't he didn't feel comfortable it seemed I'm not saying that he probably you know isn't is bad at communication obviously you got the job as a GM he's good at something but I just feel like it's a whole another level but and like you mentioned like Po is younger you know he's more relatable he's more closer to the players on the team uh shout out to PID as well who mentioned a few statements ear comments earlier that you know he's personable uh uh I I I feel like all that goes into making a very very good team and and he is humble about it too he actually relies on his Brain Trust we've seen plenty of times even in hard knock's video where uh his guy was like yeah let's just hold on we Rome is gonna fall to us just you know don't trade away to farm yet so like he relies on his Brain Trust even if he really got this inkling like yo I gotta pull the trigger I gotta make this move happen maybe they and they'll tell them hey you know what hey we didn't get the guy who was what was the defensive lineman they tried to trade for but they tried to get judon but he was like you know what hey we end up are they going to you know give us a challenge are they better than us do we think they're not better than us but let's start with the Detroit Lions Detroit the Detroit Lions their official 53 roster came out and I'm just going to ask you guys right off the bat do you think that they have a better overall team than us or how do you all feel about the Detroit Lions this year I mean yeah I think they they're bet they're the better team right now until the Bears you know prove otherwise or any other team in the in the conference I feel like Detroit is even though we we got some people that we we're cool with that are big Detroit fans yeah shout out to Chris bures and of course Don B I feel like Don Burr is Chris burges I don't know I got a fact check that one we got find out one day we we don't know who that is just a lion's uh logo every time we don't we got to fact check that one day from a mystery man he has glasses on oh you look like millionaire Lance B no no it's that he wears glasses I don't always wanted to say that it's me no always wanted to say that he totally is though shout out to that yeah no uh yeah Detroit to me honestly they they do have a better roster I feel like their experience together kind of outweighs our I feel like if the Bears with the talent that we already have on the roster I feel like with more experience we can be a better team I've already gone out and said that I think it's not going to take a whole lot of time for Caleb Williams to surpass a lot of these quarterbacks that we have in this division as far as being the best when it comes to Jordan love he had a really breakout season obvious we'll get into the Packers roster but Jared g n I think they go with Jared golf's me to me Jared G's good don't get me wrong they almost got to the Super Bowl I'm not going to deny that but as a team I think that they they're a really good team I think that they possibly are reading their own newspaper clipping so to speak uh oh and possibly with Dan Campbell they might have peaked to me oh they might still be a good team they're not they're not biting the kneecaps no more going no more kneecap biting I don't know we'll see I mean this is their third this is cuz they they they caught a run at the the two years ago right yep and then they had a bad first season was bad and then they had that breakout season yeah no no so the breakout season last year then no no no the year before they were and then they got really good they got hot at the end of the one year right and then this so this you know we'll see how well they're constructed but Jared G does not scare me as a quarterback he never has he never has he's he's he's good he's good in a system that he understands just like when he was in in the ramp oh here we go the mid QB Defender you all to be calling the good quarterbacks mid and that be killing me kid whatever man we already know how you feel about mids and there and here come Don Burr right after him he to laugh at this oh boy shout out to Don Burr we see you buddy whatever uh but we're going to give you your flowers the Detroit Lions are actually a good team I actually I foresee them being in the hunt for being the best team in in the division if I'm being completely honest they could compete for that first place I just remember in the division I just remember us putting the fo fops on them in terms of Defense we had we were killing them for three and a half quarters yeah we were last year and then we got them back and we did oh yeah we beat we have the Detroit line we beat them if it was a 16 game 17 Game season of Bears versus Lions the the Bears would be probably 18 and0 18 and the y'all would have your second 0 and 16 Season again like like stop it come on now they win a couple games it it was their still a respectable team but golf against that type of Defense I'm telling that cover that cover two type defense is really hard so it mid bad to Mid quarterbacks struggle against that and now we actually have a quarterback where I think he can extend plays and he can give us what is another mid oh Dak Prescott mid yep leads NFL and touchdowns yeah what did he what does he also do the preas post playoffs we we just talked about this the other day with Lamar Jackson go ahead and type away look he just God this is why P needs to be here because this this this is where the credits uh Sam leap Porter probably is going to be a really upand coming tight end I will say this they probably have the best offensive line in the division I mean that that offensive line is nice with zitler Frank rag now Graham glass now Tyler Taylor Decker pan Su I mean that that's a nasty starting line lineup for the for the for the line which is why I think Jared G is as good as he is I mean you you give that line to us cayb Williams is the number one quarterback in the league I mean that is a very good offensive line yeah and I I I think that this year could be the year that Detroit experienced right so we talked about how they had that somewhat mid first half of that season what was it 2022 or 2021 and then the second half of the season they were on fire 22 Yeah they came back right and it bled over into the next year where they end up becoming elite team Yeahs have that CH this year to imate that but maybe even better because we got a better quarterback a better defense better receivers all together um and I think eventually Detroit will Detroit and we know what that means that's that's what I'm saying what I I think I think they're gonna be a good team but there could be some some moments I mean technically what we should do is look at their their schedule for example and see how they would Fair against some like so okay going up against week one they have the Rams week two Tampa Bay week three Arizona and then Seattle so do you think there's a split for them you know going against the uh the Rams I'm not really scared of the Rams anymore Tampa Bay Tampa Bay Tampa Bay is is a decent Squad Tampa Bay is nice what is that uh Baker Mayfield you got Mike Evans still there uh uh the other the other wide receiver name is Bo Bobo chrisn see if you watch hard KN they that was his nickname B yeah Bobo I'll be honest with you I feel like people don't watch Hard Knocks unless it's their team I think that's the reason why people don't watch Hard Knocks but I could be wrong my first year I loved all the GM ones the the offseason ones love that so it all up I love it I love building the team and watch I feel like you got to be a real like football you see the GM you see the Hat don't you I know see I'm a basketball nerve more more more basketball I watch but football I watch it you know it's my number two so we all agree so we all agree that Lions they're they're going to be in the hunt for being one of the better teams in the NFC uh North let's let's let's move on to the Minnesota Vikings real quick what what you say Jo also just to pin that just to close it out they're gonna have a slightly tougher schedule they got Seattle week four Dallas week six Minnesota week seven Tennessee week eight Green Bay week nine Houston's 10 um you know so they it feels like our schedule's a little more easier and then we got it rough on the back end but this you know so the next squ we who you want toes we going to the Minnesota Vikings now the Minnesota Vikings admittedly I think the Vikings probably in my opinion are going to be probably okay to not okay they're going to be a poor team this year especially when you heard the news about uh their rookie quarterback that they just got JJ McCarthy going down for the season which is unfortunate but I mean the quarterback position is something that needs an upgrade quick you still have Sam darnold there Nick Mullins jiren Hall those are names of I mean p kid probably loves all of those guys he probably you know D out with all those guys you know I don't know you know who know tell us more about Sam Sam darnold Nick M tell us more about Sam darnold yeah yeah let let us know the statistic the first round Talent he was number Jesus Christ there one thing I know I know basic I know regular I know average they all all right guys have throw the they throw a pill right they throw a pill but uh we got two running backs on the roster too uh you got Ty Chandler you got former Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones uh I think still he probably still has a little bit more gas in the tank so that's a good pickup for them it's a mid team dude they lost they lost their defensive ends last year they lost yeah oh yeah uh uh your boys went your boy went to Houston yeah the one I denil Hunter and then uh oh but they did sign Jonathan Greener Jonathan greener's okay but mean he's not dj wantam or uh uh uh danal hun by any means I mean you're talking about potential and and and a guy that had what 16 sacks the other season no that's that that's not going to happen no I I think this they're they're definitely taking a step back this year the quarterback is is a huge you know part of this squad and Sam Darnell doesn't scare at least when it come to the Bears I I don't think he's I don't think he's gonna do well against this type of Defense yeah now the only reason why I say why I would say that they may pose a little bit of a challenge if we're talking head-to-head with the Bears is because they probably have the best one two punch at wide receiver of course Justin Jefferson kind of carries that a long way because he's in my opinion probably still the best wide receiver in the league yeah but then you got jordison there too yeah they throw him a five yard in or something throw that a lot of yak lot y don't come back they ain't really got he Ain really got nobody he really got nobody to throw him the ball no so that's why I skipped him over in our fantasy league TJ howison yeah oh you you you had a chance to get him in fantasy actually I didn't I just saying I saw him slip far he slipped really far he's definitely a second round dude but if he had a quarterback throwing to him he's a first round Talent he got a quarterback throwing to him he number one or number two absolutely yeah you put him on our team when I look at the even the Vikings uh schedule they got New York uh week one that that could actually yeah we know that's a win now San Francisco lost Houston lost Green Bay probably lost uh the Jets I'm giving them a l essentially be one and one and four Detroit I'm beat them the Rams FL I mean they Indianapolis could win that one Anthony Richardson Michael Pitman Jonathan Taylor yeah Jacksonville Tennessee Chicago like a't looking good for them yeah yeah I think I think I think they're probably going to be competing for bottom dweller in NFC North uh so uh yeah that that team they have some nice pieces obviously they got talent but they don't have the talent at the right positions at quarterback M Defender the mid Defender what do he say now DJ Mo put up yards and Yak on screen so I think JJ will be okay P kid the mid defens oh my God P kid how are you a Bears fan mid you're defending all of these other teams in the division man come on now wrong with you man goodness gracious all right so let's go to the most hated rival in the NFC North this is the reason why left them for last the Green Bay dang Packers oh SN who that was a that was a hated old snap uh the Green Bay Packers except for hav oh we're gonna be honest about them let's just come on and just give them their flowers while we can they don't smell good well maybe Thorns we'll give them some Thorns yeah let's give them the Thorns while we can't yeah thistles this in Thorns for Green Bay Packers uh but if we're being honest I would say they're right up there right behind Detroit Detroit competing uh with the Chicago Bears for uh best in the division uh their roster top to bottom you know has been proving to be good Jordan love kind of made a name for himself last year especially at the end of the season he got going he got into the uh the system uh and of course their quarterback I mean rather their coach is a very very good uh mind and offensive mindset Matt ller you know what I'm hoping for I'm hoping for a sophomore slump oh is that right wait is this is this is a s sophomore season start I'm about to say Jordan Love's been in in the league way more than one year starting starting lot it can happen Justin Herbert came out like like gang Buster so to speak second you like he's struggled lot of these there there is a sophomore slum to some of these guys P fgb all right we know what that means yeah I mean yeah okay we know where everybody everybody's going in on the Packers baky saying yeah we know but I mean if we're just being completely honest you know they have a they have a talented team I mean from from top to bottom and who did they just get at running back because Aaron Jones went to Minnesota so they got Josh Jacobs that's a very good pickup they just brought back uh they brought brought uh Malik Willis from the uh Titans he was a failed uh uh starter with the Titans yeah he might actually be a good backup I thought that was actually a good pickup they got rookie marshan Lloyd I think he's a decent uh backup running back Christian Watson Romeo dos Jaden Reed they got some names I'm not going to be honest with you they got some names on offense I like this he said I'm not giving the Bak said I'm not giving the Packers nothing that M Jordan love said he quote he looks to continue the ownership of the Bears yeah no I think Caleb's about to we about to slay the dragon what what Leon said in 300 give them nothing oh yeah yeah take from them everything that is my movie Yes like come on oh I love fre this is the year where we we kick Bay into that that Abyss that that pit of of nothingness this this is Sparta this is Soldier Field and we are here to stay no can you imagine could you imagine oh in a world in the world where the Chicago Bears led by Caleb Williams drives down the field in Green Bay wins by 20 G rated G for good rated GB you realiz you realize Caleb Williams will have this man praying look at him praying Caleb Williams would have the Chicago fans in the Palm in an uproar of his head D I mean he kind of already does that would just be on the C do you realize how how fanatic fans would be of him if he leaves the Bears to beating the Packers twice and he can then stand over the Packers and say I own y'all yep but look so when you look at their schedule they got Philadelphia week one that's tough Indianapolis not too Tennessee yeah I think they beat Minnesota Los anges Arizon they can reel off they can be five and one if we're being honest they probably can start off this season could be yeah it could be a problem here's the reason why if we're going back to our team real quick because we're going to leave The Best For Last is obvious Chicago Bears I think are going to be in the mix all season for one reason also or or one of the reasons is because our strength of schedule we're not facing any of our division Rivals until the back end of the season and so as we talked about some months a couple months ago when you look at our schedule we have you know comparatively one of the weakest schedules in the league you're starting off with Tennessee you're going to Houston that could be a litness test right there but I believe that we have the team to beat CJ string those boys and then you have a host of other teams that are still on the up and up that are still trying to uh uh uh develop their players that aren't as good as uh you know top to bottom for their roster I think Chicago can be just as good as as Green Bay when it comes to the start of the season and so if we keep Pace with what could be seemingly those other good teams in our in our division I think we'll be right there with being number one in in the uh in the division and then hey sky is the limit from there boys sky is the limit Sky it's tough man it's it's hard to not get too excited about what the season is I remember saying though I was like if we do trade Justin I did say this and we get Caleb Williams yeah they better win more than 10 games that's the minimum expectation because this defense is ready right yeah right the offensive line is probably the one weak spot that we're concerned about but everything else around this team it seems to be ready to go so this team better win 10 games better if they win 10 games they're at least a wild card team I would say I agree with that yeah this well this team rivals that that the 06 Squad Take a Shot but like if you could because the defense is that is good yeah you just need the offense not to shoot themselves in the foot I mean imagine and when you relive That season how many times like the first five games the Bears was ding there Unstoppable yeah and then once they got tap on them and with with grman started going up and down the defense was so good it was winning games the special teams was winning games and despite the bad quarterback play so imagine if we're able to have some type of consistency at the quarterback position with this type of Defense you should be able to have a very successful season and mind you I mean like polls was saying I think I just heard him say something about like they they want him to do well you know in terms of the scripted stuff or within the confines of playing quarterback then when you get off script or off platform everybody's using off platform now that's the new word but when off platforms when he does all the amazing stuff like he's got that extra C Williams is yeah he's got that extra stuff to go with it so like it that's what's scary it's the it's the uh The X Factor of his playmaking ability versus just not only does he make one he we've seen him make one two three read one two three yeah you've seen it the ball comes out his hand quick bro it just does man so no I'm we're excited this is going to be a good season I guess we we pretty much raing yeah yeah this is this is going to be a fun season guys
