what a way to start the 2024 football season for Penn State going on the road and winning 34-2 at West Virginia crazy environment not just in terms of the crowd but in terms of the weather we had a long weather delay some crazy weather in morgant toown you know game's finally over it's like 6:00 here East Coast time and we're finally over for a 12:00 game so kind of crazy but I was glad that the team was still able to remain focused and keep their foot on the gas despite that you know shortage I guess you could say or stoppage in the middle of the game team did not lose any energy or any momentum and just kept rolling Drew Aller started off a little shaky but I felt like he was poised and confident and the Penn State offense under Andy koniki wow that is looking like an elite hire the way that Penn State was getting the ball vertical down the field explosive plays all over the place Amari Evans right before the half coming up clut a little push off but if you know you know if the ref doesn't call it it's not a push off so that was that and then he dropped a dime to Trey Wallace right there in the corner of the end zone Nick Singleton running like crazy Abdul Carter get getting in the back field and making plays what a way to start the season I I think we saw everything we wanted to see a win an improved offense a stout defense and a big time W on the road no no doubt about that we got everything we we we got everything we wanted to see everything Penn State fans wanted to see this offseason happen today it looks like it's going to be a fun season for Penn State football and I'll be here covering it I can't wait shout out to coach Franklin and the entire team on the W today safe travels to you guys back to State College get rested up Bowling Green next week one and0 baby you want to start one and0 start the season off strong with m and Penn State football did just that
