blessings that you shower on us thank you for this class helping us to know how to get into deeper Union with you we surrender father's only into your hands fill them with your Holy Spirit and put in his mouth the right words to teach us how we can be United to you in a deeper way we surrender ourselves and all our YouTube viewers that you fill us to with your Holy Spirit and help us to understand think video is off I guess oh yes yes yes yes I have to get out no yeah yes Father okay so in the vi of the third Mansions now she uses the plural for Mansions each Mansion has many rooms as she says and she uses the plural okay and so this also tell us that uh there are so many secret spaces within our soul that sometimes we may not understand what is within and we some people may be operated through those horses which are unaware uh of them I mean which they are unaware of so these are some introductions which I would like and also I would like to say today I'm taking only the third Mansion because too many information may not be so helpful so just we may be going little bit slower than yesterday so in the third Mansion she initially describes the nature or characteristics of those in the third mansions and she says there are so many such people in the world you know those who have started their spiritual journey and those who have been practicing their spirituality regularly there are so many people in the world J says and they are very desirous not to offend his majesty even by venial sins you know that is one characteristic of those who are in the third Mansions even by venial sins they desire not to offend his majesty God and the second characteristic is they love Penance they would like to maybe fasting and do some Penance you know kneeling down on Sand or any any Penance they would like to take and they also another characteristic that they spend prayers hours in meditation so so many hours in meditation they may be spending they employ their time very well you know they are very industrious and they employ their time very well they exercise themselves in works of Charity to their neighbors these are all very clear are well ordered in their conversation and dress and uh the last sentence don't don't go there so um this is the status or this is the these are the characteristics of those who are in the third Mansions I think we can relate to this also you know there are so many people who regularly practice uh spirituality and you know Mass going to mass Rosary Etc and praise and worship Etc and uh there is a care from our part not to offend God by our conversations or even small little sins venial sins and so at times we do take Penance you know in at least even if in the lent season and all we do take pen and spending hours in meditation she is mentioning it about this about uh those who are in the congregation you know sisters religious ET but I have seen these days lay people also recently I came across a man who said to me uh we two or three people are going from chalaki to um vangani you know it is not for any um celebration or anything we just want to go there and sit in the church and in the church premises in meditation in prayer in reading the word of God in praising worship Etc so there are people lay people also who spend so many hours in meditation and they employ their time very well you know they are well um industrious and make use of their time for every every moment of the day very well works of Charity towards neighbors and their conversations and dressing and everything is very much in the Christian way there are so many people in the world world she says so we maybe you may be relating now to yourself I think now from yesterday now you have decided okay maybe I'm in the third Mansion I can understand when you say that we are going further um she says even if we are like this we may be like the uh man the young man in the gospel you know the young man in the Gospel Matthew chapter 19: 16-22 we see we come across a young man in the gospel uh do do you want to read it Jus Matthew chapter 19: 16-22 Matthew chapter 19: 16-22 yeah uh then someone came to him yeah and said teacher what good deed must I do to have eternal life and he said to him why do you ask me about what is good there is only one who is good if you wish to enter into life mens he said to him which ones and Jesus said You shall not murder you shall not commit adultery you shall not steal you shall not Fe bear false witness honor your father and mother also you shall love your neighbor as yourself the young man said to him I have kept all these what do I still lack Jesus said to him if you wish to be perfect go sell your possessions and give the money to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven then come follow me when the young man heard this word he went away grieving for he had many possessions praise God thank you for reading it wonderful way of reading uh see here very well you know in the first part this young man is a person quite like she mentioned earlier keeping all the Commandments doing all the good work for the people Etc and regular prayer and everything but when the Lord asked sell all what you have and distribute to the poor and come and you know what he did he went away so she says you know in in this display you can see complete surren a complete surrender a lack of this complete surrender will cause dryness in prayer now even if we are in the third Mansions very well ordered in our Behavior dressing in the in the spirituality Etc a if we do not have a complete surrender yet we this may be causing dryness in prayer and this we also may be now relating to those moments of dryness in prayer uh okay yes so yeah see in the in again she continues to say interior sufferings which are not of their own fault will be taken away from them you know uh see sometimes we may feel you know in Ephesians chapter Ephesians chapter 6 Ephesians chapter 6 verse 13 I think uh no 12 Ephesians chapter 6 verse2 for our struggle is not against enemies of blood and flesh but against the rulers and against the authorities against the cosmic powers of this present Darkness against the spiritual forces of evil in the Heavenly places see there may be evil caused by our actions there may be evil caused by not our actions but evil may be set on us by the venomous enemy so he says interior sufferings which are not caused by our own actions will not be there in this Mansion are you with me there yes Father yeah okay yes okay an Earthly King may have many subjects she says you know an Earthly King kingdom is not there anymore you know but at the same time we know suppose we take the example of a parliament or anything also it is the same Parliament is for us to govern the whole country but only those who are very few are selected to enter the Chamber of the parliament the same way Earthly King may have many subjects yet all do not enter this C his call and she invites enter then she tells all the sisters mainly she told this to the sisters enter then my daughters into your IND So Silent prayer and interior prayer is a requirement she says pass beyond the thought of your own Petty works now we all what we do now maybe all what we would like to do you know some of our actions may be to satisfy us you know some people say okay I have this desire to cook really well I have this I have this practice of a knitting you know sowing well or planting you know various things which can satisfy our needs or which are we are good at we may be doing so this Petty works are uh we have to pass this level of petty works I I'll say an example about this in from my life see when I was in dandrum last few years last six years I was in triandra I I I am I used to proudly say that I was a good cook also because uh when in the noviciate when I had so many students in the noviciate I used to cook really well but what happened was somebody when I was in charge of the province also somebody said to me why do you want to cook you do all the works properly all the you know administrative works properly why do you want to cook and I was really Hur to hear this from a friend of mine not directly to me but some he told someone else then I thought what is his problem now I'm doing something i i i s I can I can I can be happy you know I good at I'm not cooking for anyone else for the community and all I'm cooking nicely well so what is this problem um I was offended but I told another friend of mine you know see this one was blaming me about what I did and this second friend asked me um see Sony what is your point in cooking there are people interested with that duty of cooking in your community why would you want to do that and I thought yeah that is that there's a point there I can do the Lord's work better if I'm not spending time for my own intentions for my own satisf action for my own desires to fulfill my own desires so she says move beyond the thought of your own Petty works so that day I stopped cooking at that day the Holy Spirit gave me it is not to is not with any animosity towards that friend I did it but I I asked the Lord give me courage to stop cooking then only I started with a more intensity to love the word of God and I became I as I as I'm today you know little bit of a a preacher I'm not a big preacher or anything but helping people to uh hear the word of God so the point is what what are those things we do for our petty Works our own desires our own satisfaction uh she says to move and this see look at the next last paragraph oh humility humility I'm just quoting her own words I know not why but I'm always tempted to think that persons who complain so much of aridities must be wanting in this virtue meaning those who complain about dryness need humility those who complain about dryness need humility sh I shall go forward so I'm just reading and then explain if we turn our backs on him and go away sorrowfully like the youth in the gospel which we came across early when he tells us what to do to be perfect what can God do he for he must proportion the reward to our love for him yeah in this we just need to understand the love of the Lord towards us is in proportion to the love we have for him do we have love for him is the first question you know um in one John as I may have quoted this before in other classes one John chapter 4 verse uh 16 I'm going to read that now so we have known and believe the love that God has for us that is the first ense so we have known and believe the love that God has for us the the two words are there how we known the love the Lord has God has for us and how we do we believe in the love God has for us these two things are crucial in our journey of Faith understand know understand and experience try to experience try to believe in the love of God for us you know how can we understand and believe in the love of God if someone has not experienced love from home love from parents you know a parent was a very tough person how can we believe in the love of the Lord Jo uh Romans chapter 5 verse 5 and hope does not disappoint us because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit and that has been given to us so and hope does not disappoint us because God's love has been called into our hearts through the holy spirit that has been given to us if we do not have had that knowledge and knowledge and faith in the love of God for individually for me and you and individually we have to go for this verse Romans chapter 5 verse 5 and pray that the the anointing and promise which is offered in Romans 55 be fulfilled in me read it few more times meditate on it and make ourselves believe and understand in the love of God for us I'm reading that again hope does not disappoint us because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the holy spirit that has been given to us so the the point here we should understand how how much we uh love God is the proportion to which God is also going to love us love us so basic question and last sentence I'm reading from this love my daughters must not be the fabric of our imagination we must prove it by our works see Victoria was asking when I said also you know prayer and love see after a while in the Fourth Man fifth Manion sixth Manion people become you know these become indistinguishable between uh prayer and love some people pray will be loving some people uh love some people do charity will be praying while they do charity in the sense no I'm not saying you know oh we say the word of God pray and do charity no we it becomes so natur natural for us when we love others through prayer when we uh pray through the love we have for others and it is not a fabric of imagination she says we must prove it by our works so these are all the times when we are doing as we said yesterday quite a number of spiritual practices we have not have that uh God's presence uh pouring into yet I'm proceeding now see this is again another sentence from her where she is connecting with the religious sisters but the real point I will say now taking the religious habit of our own will and renouncing worldly things and all our possessions for God uh so religious habit and seek the will of God uh is the important thing seek the will of God why am I doing certain things is it because I desire I will it I want to do it or is whatever I'm doing now will of God is the is the basic question we need to ask if we are trying to Journey spiritually to seek God so and uh our disposition in this matter should be like unworthy servants whatever we get are generous offer from God you know we never had that choice when before we were born oh God can you make me can you create me never know oh God can you create me as a man no can you create me as a woman no can you create me in this part of the world no can you create me in this family no everything was God's generous gift for us so if we believe and have the disposition of unworthy servants when he gives again we'll be again indebted to him and praising him and thanking him for all the little things you know um so this is what our friend I'm just recalling um Anthony brother now because he's on on his way uh to Bangalore today but uh whatever he sent me yesterday I'm going to read now Blessed Virgin Mary's message he sent me yesterday maybe you also got it your humanity is not grateful for the holy spirit's love for man and you will see illness suffering and anguish arrive so how much we are in that Ed to God and how much we are thankful to God is a basic question if we are not thankful Mother Mary's message is that you know there can be sickness and suffering in our life so again she says how little is all we can do for so generous a God you know if we take a comparison between God's generous generosity and our response to his generosity we have done very little you know uh who he created us he died for us he protects us he serves us today I was talking to a couple and U this thought of uh thanking the Holy Spirit came to my mind while we discussed and I asked them you know what are the things uh in life you think God has not given and you create there is nothing you know everything is given by God so be thankful count even the small little things our ability to come online now Simple Thing our ability to see hear touch smell write walk uh think eat uh all little things we need to be thankful to God because it is through his generous gift as a human person we are able to do these things and she says he the Lord did nothing else during the whole time he lived in this world but he served the humanity he served all of us and she says in this third mansion He gives a peace and resignation which will make the soul happier peace and resignation which will make the soul happier than others with a sensible devotion see there is a comparison here we know what is peace and resignation I hope peace we know resignation is a thing called letting go you know we won't be picky against others even if people do some wrong things we won't be angry towards them we won't be accusing them oh what did is wrong kind of so those who are in the third Mansions will begin to have that Letting Go let it happen you know um I I I'm am thinking you know many of the many a time when we begin to complain about the world their actions imperfections and everything if we reach really a progress to third Mansion there will be a peace and letting go attitude for all of us and that will make the soul happier than others with the sensible devotion do you notice that word sensible devotion that phrase sensible devotion is the regular practice we do from our part for all the spiritual practices for example you know our Mass reading the word of God our Rosary our works of Charity all for the glory of God if we do all these are called sensible devotion I'm just keeping it there in the next proceeding we'll understand why he says about sensible devotion here he she says conquer the former struggles if so God will keep them in the security of conscience so what are the former struggles former struggles are are uh tepidness you know we have come AC tiid meaning um we were weak in the sense we have not we were not decisive in proceeding we were committing sin again and again uh so and also we may be worried about things of the world I lacked something in the world we may be worried about the love of we the love of of others all those things you know conver the former struggles if so God will keep them in the security of conscience and here um she's giving the example of St Thomas who said let us die with thee you know Thomas Jesus wanted to go with towards Lazarus place and Jews were aiming to kill him and uh uh Jesus said we'll go there and Thomas said and some other disciples said no we are not going to go there because people are aing to kill you Thomas only said let us go and die with him so that means when we journey with him my ego should be dead it is for his purpose that I'm going to live my life so as s Thomas said for to be away from thee is to die again and again if I'm away from him if I'm going with him I'll follow his path if I'm away from him I will choose my own desires I will commit sin when I will be dying again and again but if I go with him I will only die once in the sense I die for myself and completely and he will live in me we ought to ask our Lord as our Bon to grant us one day to dwell in safety with the Saints you know that words from the Lord uh give me um a day in the house of the Lord than uh many days elsewhere you know that prayer she is making she says to meditate on this particular text from the word of God in this one um Psalm 1281 Psalm 1281 I have displayed there or she yeah blessed is the man that fears the Lord and she says a comparison between David and Solomon she says David was very holy yet you know what Solomon became Solomon became uh the most knowledgeable person in the world as of now so as per the Bible so in 1 Kings 391 and 9-13 in 1 Kings 39-13 we come across uh um this uh time when uh so Solomon was asked by the Lord what do you want to govern and he says I need only um Prudence to govern and God is granting and Prudence was the main thing God was wanted to give him you know this last sentence in this one I would like to read my mind is like a bird with broken wings in the sense even in the third Mansions it is like our our soul our mind is like a broken wings we have we do not have that desire to go forward we may have that longing for the world uh she says um see again she says the characteristics of dwellers in these Mansions dwellers means those who are inhabited this third Mansions those who are in the third Mansions again she repeats that many souls are there there seem to be a Mastery over life you know our prayer everything apparent Detachment from the world may be there apparent she says seeming Mastery but moderate trials disturb them you you can connect easily can relate easily to this now moderate trials when big Trials come we may be facing it very seriously very effectively very daringly very courageously but small little trials you know oh does god um why didn't why didn't God give me this um uh why didn't why didn't God make me white why didn't God make me um Rich you know why didn't God make me intelligent uh or more intelligent than somebody else or all these small little trials may disturb them um and for those who are in this Mansion who have this difficulty of being disturbed by moderate trials if anybody advises them it is useless not to be argued with for they are convinced they suffer only for God's sake and cannot be made to understand they are acting imperfectly which is a further error in persons so far Advanced they they should speedily overcome their concern about such matters you know these type of internal trials and struggles we should be able to renounce them in the name of Jesus so this prayer see since we are doing it in the modern era I am uh requesting you to uh listen to a prayer which God gave me also no in the name of Jesus with the Holy Spirit I renounce my internal sorrow and I receive the love of Jesus again another prayer may be in the name of Jesus with the Holy Spirit I renounce my jealousy towards someone I receive the love of Jesus I receive the Holy Spirit In The Name of Jesus uh with the help of the Holy Spirit I renounce my unnecessary lust for someone I receive the love of Jesus I receive the holy spirit all these type of uh prayers may be made she is not mentioning this I am mentioning this that somewh or other they should speedily overcome their concern about their internal struggles they should which are deserving them they should throw away they perceive their faults easily pain not because of lack of God's favors but their own fault they are very much worried about their own fault if they are humble they will be rewarded by the Lord again this the second time humility is coming here even if they are in these Falls I'm just going forward because I do not have much time also left sorry for that noise because when I taught the novices I just put those effects these will teach you whether you are really discharged from all you have left rling occasions you know these means these internal trials will teach you whether um you are really detached from all you have left although perhaps not quite of the same kind by which you can prove to yourselves whether you have obtained the Mastery over your passions the object of Life must be to do what he requires of us again this one sentence from here I would like you to take down or learn humility is the ointment for our own wounds humility is the ointment for our wounds with regard to our relationship with God we should always have humility humility is the ointment for our wounds she says if we have it although perhaps he may defer his coming for a time you know he may be or his coming may be delayed but he for he who is our physician will come and heal us for sure she says so humility is the ointment for our wounds even if he may be delayed if we have humility the Healer The Physician he will come and heal us the the penances performed by the persons I spoke of are as well regulated as their life we seem to ourselves to be making progress yet we become weary for believe me we are walking through a Mist serpents easy to lose see here we may think okay we have mastered our life we are making a good progress yet when we are in this third manions we may feel weary and tired oh my God how I tried quite a lot seeking the Lord but nothing seems to be happening those tiredness of Mind may be there she says it is because this is a time of a Darkness little bit of darkness in the sense a misty time the the things are not very clear you know what is a Mist what gives us a Mist when the Mist is around us we may not be able to see further farther ahead of us you know and any as you can see here serpents you know if we go in the evening walking maybe in the dusk you know the evening dusk time when there is very little light even even if there is a serpent or a snake below that we may not see them the same way our journey of Faith she says is almost walking through a mist and she says here about the superiors uh to to whom we should submit quite a lot because superiors will look after us but here as lay persons what I would request you to do is to look at the superiors position as you know the people who are giving us advice Etc um the authorities in the church Etc we should trust them and the Holy Spirit also is important we should ask the Holy Spirit who is actually our Superior like person for us or you know uh she says here the way will be difficult and wearisome without self renunciation or concern for the world a concern for little things of my own weighed down as we are by the burden and frailties of human nature which are no longer felt in the more interior Mansions third Mansions are all we will be worried about our body cares our mind cares our you know displeasures Etc but we'll be burdened by them their self-renunciation some type of self-renunciation can help us she says he repays for all our services here I think he grants few consolations here you know that there was another word which uh which I mentioned earlier sensible devotion here another word is coming called consolation please note them down in your notes which will be discussed further in uh Other Mansions sensible devotion uh and consolations see sensible devotion is something what we do spiritually and we receive satisfaction from what we do you know when we do um a meditation or when we do a praise and worship when we do uh an adoration we may feel some satisfaction within it may be called a sens sensible devotion but consolation is as she mentions here is a gift from God whatever we do or whatever do not do God in his Mercy grants us some consolation some sweetness except perhaps occasionally to entice us to prepare ourselves to enter the land last Mansions By showing us their cond you know she may be giving us that glimpse of the next mansions that that is one example of consolation okay she will give us that desire to go further that is one exam another example of consolation there may appear to you to be no difference except in the the name between sensible devotion and consolations and you may ask why I distinguish them I think there is a great difference she says uh there is a big difference between sensible devotion and consolation uh which distinction we will find out in the further manions we may lose consolations through our own fault you know even if God grants us this uh special Graces of consolation through our own fault we may lose them and lose one's Soul not to praise God you know and if we our own our own fault you know if we have that desire for committing a sin again we may lose this consolation from God and lose one Soul not to praise God you know uh so we may because we commit sin that desire to praise God may also be lost Soul's way to good work and Justice will be rewarded by the Lord one way or the other last Almost we are nearing this third Mansions now the first sentence I would like you to again note down our will is the cause of our ills our will will again the same thing he was repeated our will our desire selfishness all these things our will is the cause of our Hills and she says get a director and director's capacities should be detached director should be a detached person director to be a learned person and director to should be a an experienced person again yesterday Shila was asking this question what should I do to um make my journey further and this is one example few examp few things were there you know to be humble Etc we there today but this is a physical example of a getting a director spiritual director she is says the example of a nestlings you know nestlings are um small little birds born newly in a nest and as the mother takes care of them uh the beginners should have have some directors to to help their Journey of Faith people who are founded on sufferings and trials they should get a director people who are extremely correct themselves are often shocked at everything they see we can learn from those we judge you know um director may be a person who is able to judge me properly and sometimes we may be you know the so-called righteous people we judge others for everything so director should be a person to tell us you know correct us uh for everything I think we reached the end of the third Mansions see just wanted to tell you the The Mansions are not complete here I have not covered it completely just for our classes sake to contain it within the short time we have I have a uh I have a comprised it into this for so I think we are almost uh finishing now do we have any questions or uh shall we wait for tomorrow for a fourth mentions I think it's better we wait for the fourth mention for tomorrow can take it up together everything like you know so now we can take the question if anyone has any questions you can ask father now and get your what we heard today yes Father and um I'm not asking each one to say whether you have reached this Mansions or anything because that may be too early for us to take a decision upon um but at the same time um I would always always ask you to relate with connect with or relate with compare with your own experiences in these manions you know okay anybody else father uh I'm finding difficulty in uh getting a spiritual director for myself yes it is it is a very common difficulty see I'll I'll tell you an example you know uh when I went I had an opportunity to study in irand for some time initially when I went there I paid €20 per hour to get a spiritual director okay and when I came from there by the end of the eight years I was there I paid €50 per hour to pay for my spiritual Direction you know it was worth doing it it was really worth doing it you know and there were occasions of changing the spiritual director choosing one or getting one asking the Holy Spirit to give me the right person all those are praying to the holy spirit is very important for you to choose a spiritual to give you a spiritual director and that will the be the first step to do and second thing will be don't go for very finicky and very see all don't consider that she would or he would have all the qualities which the ISA or anybody is saying you know experienced or learned or you know detached or anything try to if you if the Holy Spirit shows you someone try to go with that person for some time if some of the things are not working you can always choose not to go to that person holy spirit will guide you to someone else does that help yes Father very much yeah please that's a very good question and that is very important also there may be you know there may be even if whatever they do may not be a complete solution for all what you going through many a time what I felt was when we sit with another person in the presence of the Lord because in his name We Gather God would have very tangible solutions for our problems God would be touching us so dearly and so intimately that uh we will have insides and we will have tangible solutions to go further and that I have experienced quite a lot even if the people may be so imperfect so illogical they may be very very helpful the situation may be directed by the presence of the Lord who is there among us are there any more questions so we can start praying yes I think we should start praying now so we'll praise God for some time and after that father can give us a blessing the final blessing thank you Jesus
