crash into other player rental cars until their bumper fell off you can expect a random teenager to do this type of thing but this was a professional baseballer when he used to sit cars of his friends he would spit tobacco everywhere he had this bad habit of picking his nose and leaving it anywhere he wanted to but these pranks started to get worse when he was in the clubhouse he would start to split on the ceiling and painfully watch as they fell off the floor to annoy the reporters he would also annoy his teammates by saying that a flyball that was in the air for 6 seconds was 100% catchable this would start heated arguments between his teammates his sense of humor would even Envy a 10-year-old he used to slide up to rookie players while they were showering he would urinate on the kid's leg and would literally do anything to annoy everyone he would not even let his teammates enjoy their food he used to put weird things in the clubhouse Chile so people would start to spit and he would make fun of it if you think that was weird there is a story that he once took a on someone's cake he had this bad habit of putting weird objects in the shoes of others to frustrate them one of his teammates got a parcel from his fan he wanted a photograph of Maddox signing the ball but when he went to ask him for a picture he dropped his pants and told him to take a picture of that one of the weirdest things was when he was caught walking on the pitch with a full erection you must think someone with this brain capacity must be a genius but his teammates would often see him quiet and sitting alone at his locker solving a crossword puzzle despite his childish activities he was one of the greatest in the sport of baseball he learned baseball from his father but he didn't expect that one day he would come on the list of alltime greats at high school he was a teammate with MLB pitcher Steve chitan and they made sure their team won the state championship in 1983 the following year he played American Legion ball baseball and was named the organization's graduate of the year in 1982 when they were analyzing the skills of his brother for selection one of the scouts was amazed by the abilities of the young kid Doug mson wrote that he would soon become the best player in the game he got drafted in the second round of the draft in 1984 he made his debut for the Chicago Cubs in 1986 but that match got postponed due to low light but when finally did get the chance to play his first game surely enough he won it 1987 was the year when he finally got the chance to play full season but finished it with six wins and 14 losses but this was only the start the preceding year he won 18 matches and lost eight this helped him gain the momentum that took him to a streak of 17 straight Seasons with 15 or more wins making it the longest streak in MLB history he established himself as one of the Cub's great players by winning 19 games in 1989 he won 20 games in 1992 and was tied for the NL lead his spectacular performance that year led him to win the Sai Young Award he could have stayed at the club but due to a dispute between his agent and Club manager he had to sign another deal with Atlanta Braves for $28 million for five years Maddox made his debut on the 5th of April 1993 for the Atlanta Braves That season he got 20 wins LED in the National League with a 2.36 ER and won his second and straight Sai Young award next season he was in his prime That season in 1994 he posted an erra of 1.56 which is the second lowest in history he had a batting average of. 222 which was higher than his erra his hard work led him to win the national league and also the Sai Young award that year in the preceding year again he posted the third lowest ER he won the national league again that year making it three titles in four years that Year's overall erra in the tournament was 4.23 and he finished the season at only 1.63 erra he was the sole force that led the Atlanta Braves to win the World Series that year because of his spectacular performance he also won his fourth Sai Young Award consecutively setting another record he signed a $ 57.5 million contract extension with his Club in 1997 making him the highest paid player in baseball the following year in 1998 he struck out 200 plus b but despite all of his efforts they were still not able to win the World Series in 2000 he made his 387th put out breaking Jack Morris's career record he had 413d scoreless innings in May 2001 he pitched 72 one3 consecutive Innings without giving up a walk in the same year he won the gold glove award 13 years in a row and tied the career record with 16 gloves in the 2006 season then he went back to his previous Club but didn't stay long in the later years he kept changing clubs but didn't stay for one or two seasons in a club in November 2008 he won his 18th goal glove award he retired a month later with 355 wins and only 227 losses a 610 winning
