Rutgers athletic director resigns due to health concerns!!

he Ruckers fans how's it going Travis elx here this Saturday afternoon about 2:50 close to 3 o'clock here about a little over 24 hours since hat Hobs now former Ruckers athletic director announced his resonation or news broke yesterday that he had he has resigned bur position after nine year 10 years records athletic director major shock major shock uh sent shock waves to everybody um at Ruckers and everything all the fan supporters um I I found out I was at work yesterday um my brother texted me might have a problem I said what happened he said PS has resigned shocking uh but it came out a little bit afterwards after ng.com Brian fona reported at first believe that and they put it out in in an email to NJ Advance media he cited health concerns and reasonings reasons of as to why he stepped down and resigned uh so abruptly said he met with his uh his cardiologists um do cardiac issues he's resigned um look P Hobs you know it's shock but what he's done is nine years to he transformed Ruckers from when he when he came there came to Ruckers 2015 totally totally different spot where we are now U leaving in a much better spot coaches me really good hires uh see pel in 2016 obviously amazing higher basketball program I expect to have his best year yet uh should be a great great year obviously football GRE Sho bringing him back 2019 OB Chris Ash didn't work out but GRE shano after uh the big outroar outcry after initial talks broke down he did get him back on the banks St chano Steve Owens and baseball and plenty other uh hires by him have been really good for the whole athletic department um helped uh get much new uh Top Line um facilities built at Ruckers the AP DC like performance center uh other new facilities for uh baseball softball training uh other sports been built over his 10 year Ruckers um soccer know he been really good lacrosse L sports now Olympic sports I know done really well and football on the rise obviously chano expecting to have a really good year so you all know it's been said many many times it's we're entering most anticipated uh should be best year for Ruckers uh Sports and uh he resigned so it's shock but he said a health concern so wish him the best uh getting healthy him and his family best moving forward and saw GRE shano his press conference after the scrimmage today it's what he kind of echoed and said wish him the best him and his family moving forward but uh yeah I mean he said he did some good things together in the four years here and um moving forward though Greg said we're in a good spot though leadership uh it's a line president president Holloway on all the governor board people on the governing board of Ruckers Ryan basari we take an over interm uh athletic director um and he's a wakeoff uh there's a native Guy R po High School Greg shano football guy so he said we're we're in good spot you know he'll bust his butt get this uh keep this uh or try to find the exact quotes but he said um our governing board president Holloway phenomenal job I can't find exact quote from uh about pasari but he said he know he's going to bust his butt as well as everybody else in that room to keep keep this thing going in the right direction so yeah I mean I think we'll be fine and um P I mean uh Hobbs obviously done great things got a little backlash for his comments last year about maybe not uh being so much for players getting paid nil and obviously his uh master plan that we've been waiting for to come out Renovations of Jersey miks Stadium baseball stadium improvements yada yada lacrosse stadium still not come out yet so we'll see what happens there uh what's been in the works that comes out soon this next uh hopefully this calendar year but uh or early uh 2025 but yeah I mean pen hops he was very dedicated to Ruckers he was a jersey guy I mean know with see was that se Hall the great great wonders there great things there and the Ruckers nine years um like I said very committed hasing see at the games getting the crow fired up always um worked hard every single day it feels like and um the outside did a lot of great things and uh yeah I saw BR said wasn't perfect know was some things that happened but he did overall really really good job at Ruckers during his tenure and uh just wishing the best wishing the best probably more will come out he he has not released a statement yet so we'll see when that happens did see people saying maybe the next uh athletic director want more somebody more public maybe talking to the fans and uh more um on a regular basis uh keeping them in uh just in line with what's going on with the athletic department into school you know Hobs wasn't too public and hasn't really hasn't talked in a while so we'll see what happens there but yeah I mean with the day and age college sports um with everything going on players getting paid just so much more social media and everything we ad more in the public let everybody know what's going on we'll be good but yeah I mean we'll see what happens Ryan basari interm a a ad right now again uh he's been with with the pro with the school for 14 years on in the athletic department so obviously no no real worries there but they're try and uh they put out Ruckers the you have a search going on immediately for a new uh permanent ad and again we'll see what happens with the with the search but I think we'll be all right we'll be all right Pat Hops and thank thank him thank you for what you've done but uh yeah we'll be all right hey basketball the C EO I saw was on vacation out of the country when he found out Greg again thank you for what he did everything wishing the best but he said not really going to worry about they asked him his role in the search said nah I just got to focus on braing his scrimmage from today and get ready for Howard 12 days till kickoff football basketball quickly approaching can't wait for those Sports got to you know we'll see what happens new more news come out like I said many times now but hey biggest year has already started soccer false SPS have started football's in 12 days and basketball let's get this thing rolling
