a Jesse Winker I mean what a great pickup he's been for this team I know maybe at first he was getting hits but maybe they weren't they were just the same go so he wasn't really driving the ball in the gap or anything like that but uh he's been finding the gaps lately and he's been finding the ball going over the wall a couple times as well going back to back with Alonzo the other night so Jesse Winker uh we know he's more of a PL he's in a platoon role here uh with the Mets playing against right-handed pitching and whatnot but when there's a right-hander on the mound you got to feel pretty good when Jesse Winker is penciled into the five spot or the three spot or wherever he is in the lineup uh what a great pickup he's been by David Sterns uh yeah I'm I will start a petition to bring back Jesse Winker this offseason I don't think he will cost that much and I think it works well with Winker Marte Nemo Taylor um and maybe add one more outfielder maybe you know be let Drew Gilbert be promoted next year at some point uh but I think you are Prett pretty pleased with that uh four outfielders uh rounding out the outfield for next year I would be and I think with Marte you know that you need a starting caliber player as well um on the bench or Marte a little bit more on the bench whatever you see fits in in how you're going to work with that but uh yeah it's been tremendous great pickup uh like you said started out a little bit iffy but has found it um bit more aggressive like the boot said uh driving the ball a little bit more taking a little bit less walks but overall he's he's been he's he's he's red hot right now
