Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay packers CAN wear green in nfl Brazil game

so there's a rumor going around that the Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers will not be able to wear their color Greens in Brazil because of gangs so this rumor started when Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs went on Chris LA's podcast earlier this week and said that the NFL informed the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers that they would not be able to wear their team color Greens in the week one Brazil game because of gang activities and he even said that they were going to have to drive around and armor vehicles so NFL Insider Ari marov ended up responding and said this rumor needs to be debunked he said that an NFL spokesperson has denied that the Eagles and Packers won't be allowed to wear green at their week one game in Brazil because the color is affiliated with gangs the NFL also denied that the teams would be restricted to their hotels with armored vehicles taking them to the stadium obviously the NFL had to come out and say something because everybody's like why would the NFL send two green teams to a country that don't rot with green so the Eagles Brazil fan club account actually came out and provided some background and some history into the culture of why the color green isn't appreciated they said that the real issue with the color green is related to a local soccer rivalry Corinthians the team that plays at the stadium where the Eagles and Packers will be playing has a fierce robbery with the palas a team that wears green so a joke was made during an announcement a Corinthians representative suggested that the teams avoided wearing green just a little joke for the Rivalry a little jokey joke that y'all took too far they also say it's sensible to advise players to be cautious and use only authorized transportation of course just like they do in the states however telling players not to wear green is unnecessary and the Gang references reinforces stereotypes that only escalates Prejudice so basically cut the crap and stop spreading fake news y'all y'all had me scar I'mma tell y'all they had me shook for a minute cuz I want to go to Brazil and I was like hold up wait a minute wait a minute cuz I only got green jerseys but y'all had me shook don't believe lies dig deeper y'all dig deeper
