yeah so brave so tough um I wish you could have seen the outpouring love I think we all lose special people but it's very very rare you lose someone who's so special to so many different people as you can see he's pretty raw still he's um we live a massive hle and I know there be a lot of people out there who were out broken this morning and the news from this today a lot of people from the MD Community will be heartbroken this morning um but he cared about everybody and what's really really important is that Rob bur continues to live forever and our team I'm sure the m and community and everyone who supported us previously we'll make sure that Rob's name is at the Forefront of everything we do going forward but he's to see what he's done the last four and a half years you know I saw and we're amazed at some of the things he did in the R field but to see some of the things he done the last four and a half years is um it's been unbelievable and the respects and love and um admiration I've got for him could be any higher the inspiration has given everybody across the UK who's who's been across this story it former teammate Jamie Jes Buchanan Jamie can you just put into words and sum up Rob for us yeah it's an incredibly difficult time at the minute to uh reflect um but that's what we've been doing for last few hours certainly last night was a difficult evening uh but this morning the love the sentiment that's been pouring in as a reflection of Rob's life and the Legacy that he's Left Behind it's just amazing you use the word that transcending I think he's not just transcended Rubble league but sport the nation and he he gave out a message you know to do it for a mate with a mate we' run the marathon here a few weeks ago and you see the the the outpouring the love there and benevolence that came on the back of that and I think for me it's the Courage the word courage that stood out Rob his courage to play the game with his size and his stature something that people at the start thought was a weakness he used it as a strength he was world class he Shan he was a superhero inspired so many young people to play the game had some wonderful moments and then that courage shown even brighter post career in that Journey that I had from the 15th of December 2019 right through the 2nd of June 2024 and that that courage will continue the sentiment in the center of what blue and Amber jerseys and Lead rhos leads rubber League sport the nation uh banging that drum Chanel light on M andd community in for the people that need it the most he was a club Legend he he he he just fought know carried on fighting till the end didn't he it was um came down as a family and it's It's just tough but um Rob was he was he just what rugby was all about well obviously the center is is named after Rob but he wasn't about Rob he wanted a center for people with M andd um that would provide them with hope a place for space a place to to think and and and and for the family really and and Rob's Legacy far transcends out obviously he's been working with the m andd Association for to find a cure for research with through research so he's he's elevated m andd in people's Consciousness not only in this country but far wider than that I just inspirational what a great rugby player love watching him love seeing him play and then obviously over the last couple years the courage just fought the horriable disease M andd against and the money's ra truly amazing character his legacy well de I mean he's a true era watched him since I were young and grew up watching him and he played fruit Academy and watching him play Then record Super League just devastated absolutely devastated he made people like this little boys know that they could make it in sport no matter what size they were um not just what he's done for rugby league but what he's done for m day is just uh amazing and he'll be missed by this club just sadness and stuff cuz I've been coming to Henly since I was like four that was almost a decade ago and what I was growing up watching Rob on screen or heading lay or away it's just so sad so saddening The World Is Still moaning
