[Music] Jam back at the starting team this week obviously losing c a big low what type of opportunity does this give you just a couple of weeks out of the finals yeah uh losing Kurt's a massive loss for us um he's been good for us all year um you know he's been around the game for a long time but um yeah I guess I just need to step up and um feel these shoes um you know I'll do what I'm good at and um hopefully I can put that towards the team and towards the end goal ski is also out this week how a l yeah he's a huge loss um you know he's a big leader for us on and off the field and um yeah it is what it is we're just going to have to uh get on with it uh without him um yeah just one week so hopefully we're fine there a real fearlessness about the way the Bulldogs are playing at the moment like feels like everybody in this team's like kind of ready to meet whatever moment comes and like do you guys really feel that regardless of way you finished on the ladder this year that you're a chance um we want to win the with the Premiership you know we've locked in for finals now and um you know that should be the goal for every team in finals is to win the comp so you know we still got two games to go but um once finals comes that's our goal to win the comp and yeah we definitely have the belief that we're a chance I feel like defensively we've all thought that you guys have a you know defensively Gro enough team to win the comp but the way you guys scoring points at the moment must give you a lot of faith that you can you can sort of go go in that regard as well yeah um I think at the moment we're the best defensive team in the comp so um yeah that's what we pride ourselves on we've done a lot of work on it in the preseason and um s is a real defense first coach and um yeah all the boys have bought into it and um we're reaping the benefits of it now Toby was telling us a little bit about um doing some mental work of the field and he said the whole club's kind of been doing that is something yeah yeah for sure I think um all the boys are brought into it um we hir mental coach and um yeah all the boys have been diving into that side of the that side of the game um in our own spare time and and together as well as a team and yeah I think it's working for all of us what does the mental coach do with you um just mindfulness just like uh you know your mindset uh before games during games after errors just that sort of stuff um staying present and you know that stuff how when did that come in during the season uh we've had him we've had um we've had him the whole year um so we've been diving into it in bits and Bobs throughout the whole year and um you know we got access to him whenever we want so if someone individually wants to go see him or talk to him on the phone then he can do that there's a few quite a few folks in this team who haven't played finals before who haven't been in these kind of top form battles games like this weekend uh you have what's the key to trying to keep your mind on on the job not get distracted by you know the the big things that are on offer yeah well um I think during the week just you know just just think of it as any other game which it is um you know don't let the outside noise get get to out too much um you know just focus on the weekend at hand and um yeah nothing really changes really you know there's more media there's some outside commitments but um you know shouldn't be training differently or doing anything differently than what you what you need to do what you've been doing throughout the season so yeah I think of a test is is manly for you guys this week given that you know both there's both you guys very good chance of Mee each other in the finals like two teams that have a lot to play for yeah they're a great team they're very experienced team um we're sitting pretty equally on the ladder um you know we know how good they can be so we we know we got to be on um it's going to be a finals type game I reckon so um yeah it's we're ready for a tough one and um hopefully get the chocolates
