Intro [Music] there [Music] perspec man uh you guys I wouldn't be surprised if both them guys got some AC them guys look amazing especially coming here uh still getting a Playbook down but like when coach do that fire they ready to play uh they don't they don't play like they fresh especially both making both P game Game Pass Pro both in there it look tough man them boys boys right um Daren he he can do everything Daren can play wide out he can play slot he can play running back that's one of the most athletic persons I didn't seen and then Dylan he came in here ready to first time pass thr he came in threw his shoulder on one of big one of the biggest D line like he not scared of nothing so both of them guys is both of them real tough but Dylan not scared of nothing and D can do almost anything on the fard described you as a bowling ball Being a bowling ball and description for yeah it is uh me and Rico been going kind of going at it this Camp we've been having a lot of opportunities of one-on-one battles and stuff so yeah we've been going at it that's my guy you look at this opportunity for you and the chance to work your way into potential starting job just depending on whether CH health or not how you kind of approach this Camp well I I feel like everybody in running back room's approaches to play like they want to start of course I want to be to start I'm not going to be mad if I'm not I'm just here to do what I got to do and do my best ability and if I start that's up to coach at the end of day I got to just do what I got to do every single Being overlooked day how did you so I feel like I was just in a bad area in North Las Vegas Nevada uh for my most majority high school it's just like nobody gets recruited out of there really and then I ended up transferring to Arizona just I just got overlooked and just but everything happens for a reason man I'm here now so I I'm not I'm just I'm happy for what happened so I'm I'm okay with I was ask you have a chip on your shoulder yeah of course I do but everything happened for a reason in my eyes so maybe I would have got recruiting and stuff wouldn't have planned out like it did so I'm happy for what happen you seem to be a guy that's Bet on yourself willing to bet on yourself right like local here when you didn't there's no guarante is that kind of how you always done yes sir just I feel like if if you don't believe in yourself who will so that's what I go by but every day St everything work out it was very talented into camp but now going through Camp how would you describe it same thing but I got just har on being physical this whole running back group is physical can be from the lightest guy to the heaviest guy where put anybody in there pass line a safety Corner the same way it's just everybody's physicality and the mentality is is different this Camp T Running back room what do you like about those two back sets that we've seen quite a bit of in coach Pion on Saturday getting as many of you guys out there as they can man I love it because we can we just throw anybody and we can throw ja akre and Darion in there Darion can do crazy stuff out the backfield ja can block well he also can do crazy stuff out the back field so it's just like it makes it hard for the defense especially when you got guys that can do both guys that's some back can catch the ball both can block both can run the ball so you got to anticipate everything coming out from everywhere how's this running back room compared to other running back rooms you've been in I'm going take my guys over any other anybody else that's all I got to say about that I'm going take my guys over anybody else were you Transport [Music] surpris I mean transport is kind of now anybody can reach out any given day so it's like yeah yeah I had yeah it was it was a surprise but transport is so so crazy that anything can happen so it was surprise but not at the same time yeah with running oh yeah definitely how do you had year role as a pass bler it's not something you have do a t your career in the past seen you do pretty good job so far taking on mind backers and stuff so how do you kind of view that role yeah last year I kind of got was getting my feet wet in my first year really getting a lot of a lot of snaps last year uh getting a hang of it but this year we really been coaches really been harping on it getting on me about it and just my craft and now I feel great now I have fun doing it so it's it's it's fun now I like pring up Lineback especially in the AAP it's it's fun Food now the food here how you f now the food is great uh I can almost eat pasta every day the pasta is amazing uh but they they are taking good care of us here we get off the field uh put good stuff in our body they making it on the spot and it's it's great what your favorite meal so far the pasta n we had like a a barbecue chicken sandwich that was probably the best of it I I ate like three of those I ain't going lie that was probably the best but POS it right behind that there's probably guys here that are complaining that you have to come to a division three school for training camp and you played at Junior College is this I mean Junior College probably doesn't matter to you is that safe to say or yeah before before I got here guys were kind of saying it was going to be like rough but to me it's it's basically same I mean just football at the end of the day like it's kind of for people that have like girlfriends and of course I miss my family and whatnot but at the end of the day is it's two weeks to really lock in with the team I feel like it's a better Advantage for us cuz we don't have nothing else but the team so we get outside of football we got to talk to our teammates bond with our teammates so it's like give us advantage and I I kind of like it when you look at the team you Team hierarchy know like every running back on the roster is talented everybody has had their has had experience in the past what do you think the hierarchy will actually come down to like how do you think the coaches will actually decide you know like like who plays wi in my mind that's the hardest we got the hardest group to determine that cuz it's like certain schools only travel four backs unless you like special Team guys I don't I don't know how they're going to do that that's that's my biggest thing I don't know how they going to break that down maybe they throw people on special team so they can try I don't know but we got we got nine guys that can go so it's like to me that's going to be the hardest decision they got to make so that's really I'm curious just like you are I'm I'm same way we can go back to your decision to go to Oklahoma in the first place um you had options right why why go walk on there of all places that's a great school but why go there and not another option what what Drew you there in the first place uh so I was I did like a semester at Junior College had a great season how had like smaller schools like Mountain West schools reaching out and I kind of was getting impatient cuz I was an older guy as a freshman I was like what 20 as a freshman CU I took some years off uh After High School and I was just like the first big school that really reached out to me and I got a real good friend family friend rre Stevenson that played there uh did the same big as me went jod in Oklahoma he just told me that would be a great fit for me and then running back coach there Marco told me I just got to earn my earn my spot walk like he said I got walk he really likes how I play he got to earn my spot and I just let on myself and took that route how old are you now so I know You' been asked about Asking for advice Darion and Dylan but um how are they going to you asking for advice like how are they as first few players like the first few months in the program how are they go are they going to the upper class and asking for help yeah them boys are just taking it all espe G too Gideon too uh all three of them guys are just uh backing on the vets and coach of course but yeah Dar asked a lot of questions but that's a good thing uh he he's just a guy that likes to just likes to ask questions and me I I like to ask question as a young guy too I'm a vet now so I love to uh give back my knowledge to them and they take it right in
