Teen questioned in deadly shooting at Academy Sports - WPMI NBC 15

22-year-old Deshawn boner was shot in the Academy Sports parking lot on July 4th a witness we spoke with said they saw four or five guys with handguns that day and they were firing out one car um that's what it looked like that silver car with Boner in it later showed up at the hospital he was pronounced dead a day later Mobile Police released this image of a person believed to be involved in the shooting and asked for the Public's help identifying him then late last month police released this image of 19-year-old C Lee Ridge Police say he was wanted for questioning and they needed help finding him he's no longer wanted for questioning as far as I'm concerned attorney Christine Hernandez now represents Ridge and says he gave homicide detectives a statement yesterday there's been no arrest no warrant for his arrest herandez says Ridge did fire a gun that day but did so in self-defense Hernandez says it's unclear what prompted the shooting my client doesn't know those individuals a spokesperson from mile police would not comment on Hernandez's claims
