[Music] good morning welcome to a Thursday morning as we take a look at your forecast we're starting off with look outside your weather window Interstate 15 mcam exit looking pretty clear this morning as we take a look at your air quality advisory still in place for parts of Stanley and chalice lmh High County kuster County area then we have this winter weather advisory this goes until 6:00 a.m. Friday we are already seeing rain in some of the lower elevations and yes snow in the upper elevations wind advisory starts up at 6:00 this morning till 6:00 tonight mainly for the am Falls Reservoir so if you were planning to take the boat out on a cold day like today might want to hold off that's going to be some rough chop out there Pocatello right now we're at 51° we have Cloudy Skies a little bit of light rain passed through earlier this morning 24 mph winds Idaho Falls 51 cloudy skies and 15 mph winds right now as we take a look at some of the temperatures around the region not too bad not horrible 45 for Jackson 45 for Aton 50 for Driggs 40s and 50s through the Snake River plane 46 for duo 48 for and that's okay for right now but guess what they're not going to be increasing a whole heck of a lot today because we're expecting colder temperatures and winds for much of the day today very windy conditions as you can see double digit wind speeds all the way from Rexburg through aine Twin Fall Falls Haley not to bad right now at about 6 milph here's a look at our satellite radar tracker you can see the rain pushing in just north of Idaho falls through Roberts pushing into the Island Park area just over the border on the summit there Galina Summit seeing a little bit of snowfall also snowfall in through Stanley the sawtooths get in a light dusting of snow as we zoom out you can see the circulating pattern this is pushing moisture up through northern Idaho down through Oregon and then it's coming back through and the next time it comes around could bring some thunderstorms with it so for today cloudy and windy today our daytime highs as we said not getting much warmer than what they are right now 50s and 60s for our daytime highs through the Snake River plane Southeast Highlands we're looking for mostly cloudy skies 50s for our highs in soda spring Mont PE dowy 40s for income and then in through the highlands in Western Wyoming best chance of seeing some isolated thunderstorms throughout the day today highs in the 40s and 50s and for the central mountains look for rain showers today lower elevations it's going to be white it's going to be snow up top so highs today 40s and 50s and overnight tonight things settle down a little bit partly cloudy skies in through the central mountains 30s and low 40s for overnight lows Highlands and Western Wyoming mostly cloudy skies 30s for those overnight lows then mostly clear skies for the southeast Highlands Soda Springs at 32 montar you're going to be below the freezing Mark tonight Preston 35 and then for the Snake River playe mostly clear overnight lows 40s taking a look at our southeast Idaho Chevy dealer 7-day forecast we will warm up tomorrow 72 for the high Sunshine 80s for the weekend Saturday and Sunday but then we cool off once again getting down into the 50s by Tuesday with a chance of rain showers Blackfoot also looking for the sunshine tomorrow 72 for the high 80s for Saturday and Sunday back into the 70s by by Monday rain showers 50s for Tuesday Idaho Falls look for partly sunny skies tomorrow mostly cloudy skies in through the weekend and then a chance of rain showers on Tuesday Rexburg going up into the 70s for our highs and back down to the 50s and 60s by Tuesday and Wednesday Teton area look for Cloudy Skies tomorrow Saturday a little bit of sunshine on Sunday but then we have showers and thunderstorms Monday through Thursday and for the central mountains mostly sunny tomorrow 70s for the next few days 60s by Monday 50s by Tuesday with a chance of thunder showers thunderstorms and rain showers on Monday and Tuesday Dean
