welcome back everybody time for the Press Box the talk sports joining me tonight Nick mantis you ready what stba all right the Cowboys beat the Raiders last night 27 to 12 Nick so what stood out to you in this game I absolutely loved right there on your screen that's perfect timing that's how you do it right there trade Lance was phenomenal last night 151 one passing touchdown one rushing touchdown I like what I saw from him he might be the number one backup QB that people actually want to see who has a little bit of everything you know he could run with the ball he could throw with the ball I was really impressed by Tre Lance what about you I was very impressed with him as well what I really liked overall though from A to Z is just the Cowboys look so much better than in their first preseason game a week earlier against I think it was against the Rams right the Cowboys just looked like a completely different team Trey Lance and of course we can't forget about Aubry in his 66 yard field goal yeah that was only good from about 30 buddy all right so the Texans beat the Giants 28 to 10 same thing Nick what's it out to you about the Texans performance uh we talked about a little bit last night on the Night Beat the defense was wow W would you what oh what and just everything just another turnover five takeaways from that defense they had two interceptions three fumbles I mean it was just incredible to watch and look like one of the teams that you know one of the parts of the team that we did not actually think about because everybody's talking about the Texans offense M that defense is really shocking they're Scary Larry wow is that how the young kids say it how you just I made that up yeah I was writing earlier but if you want to steal that you can have it I need to go look it up and see so yes I was also impressed with the Texans defense the defense is usually head of the offens this part of the season but I'll tell you what if the Texans defense can play like this in the regular season and their offense could plug like they did last year who buddy watch out for those Houston Texans all right the Spurs 2024 25 regular season schedule was released this week they have two games in Paris two more games in Austin as part of the I35 series any games you're looking forward to seeing this season Nick I think you you you picked out two of them right there the games in Paris and not just because of wemy he's going to be playing back there but now he's a returning as a silver medalist there's going to be such a huge fan base there everybody's going to be so excited to welcome not just him but you know other players back to to Paris it's going to be extremely exciting to see and so I'm not only that game those games in Paris but also the game that's on November 5th oh no sorry November 4th it's against the LA Clippers at the Intuit Dome that huge wall at uh at the Dome and see how exactly that's going to go when it comes to playing against the Spurs yeah it'll be interesting to see what that new arena is like so for me I don't really have one game per se picked out at least not right now I just want to see Victor wanyama and the Spurs progress in wi's second season with the veteran additions they've added the young guys they've added they all have another year of experience under their belt you know another offseason of working out I'm really just as a whole wanting to see how these spurs look Titans QB will Lev Us in partnership with helman's released a Mayo inspired fragrance he said it smells good and that it doesn't smell like Mayo would you buy this at eight bucks a pop well you can't cuz now it's sold out Nick what would a Nick mantis fragrance be called I kind of playing off the nickname that you guys gave me when I first got here which is Mantooth so if I got it right here and do the whole ad and everything when you go out tonight make it a Mantooth moment you buying a bottle did I get you how much does it cost we'll talk about prices later well I need to know a price up front bro I okay well not as expensive not eight bucks a pop bucks that's pretty cheap four okay okay all right and then what about you let's raise it up to five five bucks I got you you make a little more profit okay he's my aging guys okay so as for me I'm going with a nickname I had in high school okay that I really liked a lot and one of my friends out there got close guessing probably the the area it's going to be in uh cool breze oh yeah cool breze that was my nickname in high school my hair flowed back and yeah you know I tried to be cool I really wasn't cool but they called me Cool Breeze okay but here let me tell you this So Courtney fredman earlier gave me this one I think the viewers are probably going to like this
