[Music] my name is Sarah wenland I am formerly the assistant principal here at Walden Middle School I've been here for two years and then this year will be my first year as Walden principal today we're in the office area as we are getting some construction to make our entryway more safe so we're looking more at our security creating a vestibule to you know increase our security and safety for all members of our community in my two years here I've just grown to really love the community the students here the staff and the families I'm very excited to continue to work with everyone to help build a positive and inclusive culture we are going to kind of revamp a little bit uh our opportunities or increase our opportunities for students to be able to get engaged in our school and also include family involvement and things like that foreign [Music]
