Caroline if you would your thoughts on the match I'm very tough match um I felt like I started pretty good uh felt like I played in flow like everything was going in the court I as well felt that she was a little nervous and and um yeah I think I started gray the first set but was going actually kind of easy and I knew that it's not going to go like that um all the time so I Tred to try to still be there and move my legs and and keep the tempo but then then one point when it was when I had a break point for three love that the Wally I missed that one and and I felt like it kind of changed and and she picked it up and and she started to play really solid um I missed again few few points but then it kind of turned around and and um it was tough to make point then against her she she was everywhere uh didn't do many mistakes and um yeah she played she played really great and so credits to her thank you one question each court court WTA congrats on a great tournament Carolina um in terms of the the shift in the match um how much of that because obviously the points were shorter in the first first set and early in the second and as the match went on it seemed like it became more of a grind how do you why do you think that happened I think I started to be a little less aggressive uh and on the other hand she started to play way better with the match she was um the balls had like better better depth so it was tough for me to get on the net and to play these aggressive points and I think I then yeah tough to say it was really tough to to keep that level all the time and um yeah I unlucky I I didn't kep it all the time and and um then then it was a battle and then um I felt like I was getting more more and more slower and she was still there she was getting faster so so then she then she beat me Charlie yeah congrats onk great tournament um when you went off at the end of the second set was that to do with like a bug was that a physical thing um no I went to I went to change I was pretty sweaty so I went to change my clothes I feel okay anyone else Chris Chris US Open um can you look at this tournament in some ways tough night tonight but but can you look at it overall as a victory you're healthy you finished this year this tournament last year with a serious injury we're out for such a long time so big picture- wise the way you played the way you feel must be a lot of positives yeah for sure it's a lot of positives I mean I just lost before uh half hour so I'm a little bit um of course now I'm not thinking that much about positives but but for sure to even get to the semis and to feel that my game is there that I can compete again the best against the best uh can win against them it's um something that I didn't know if if it uh when it will come back to me and I feel I'm I'm playing good level and uh as you mentioned I'm I'm healthy and I can I can play more tournaments this year and and that's actually the most important thing take one more in English charina congrats Kitty Nathan Defector media um when you're really in the zone your game can can look so effortless so I'm wondering what it takes for you mentally to remain in the kind of mental space that lets you play that way to stay in that space Oh I didn't get it um kind of when you're producing your kind of most effortless flowing tennis how do you kind of stay locked in in the mental space that lets you play that way well I just try to focus on on next Point try to keep like basic stuff like breathing next point the the routines that I have on the court and um yeah just just be in the moment basically um didn't work today but um yeah I mean it's it's just good to get through these matches and and get the experience from it and and um learn from it for for the next um next match like this what I can do better and and how I can improve so I'll just try to learn thank you let's transition a check please thank you thank you
