as American voters political analysts and the rest of the world make sense of the maiden presidential debate between Donald Trump and kamla Harris another us channel has officially issued a public statement on its invitation to host a second round of debate just hours after both presidential nominees ended their first face off Fox News declared that it has proposed to host the second round of debate in October as per the announcement the letters were sent much before the first round of debate and as for the details revealed by Fox news so far the criteria and format for the proposed debate will be similar to that of the Trump Biden debate hosted by CNN in June the channel has proposed a 90minut debate with two commercial breaks the moderators will be Brett Bear and Martha melum a coin flip would determine Podium placement and order to closing statements as usual candidates would stand behind podiums without any props or pre-written notes and to get us the latest our correspondent Susan Teran is joining us live from New York Susan good to see you long day for you as well and uh what can you tell us what is the possibility of a second round of debate so these debates were actually all suggested even prior to the debate last night uh by the Trump Administration and notably by Fox News as well they had asked for a debate on their Network in October uh way before we got the news again last night when kamla Harris came out and said that she's willing to do a second debate whether or not she's going to be doing it on Fox News that's the big question we did hear from the former president who initially said he'll think about it and then he said that he was open to debating Harris but on a quote unquote Fair Network a lot of Republicans Trump himself and conservatives believe that what happened last night with ABC was slanted towards uh kamla Harris Moore and Trump didn't get an opportunity and a fair chance uh to talk about his policies so when he says Fair Network he wants a friendlier Network in that sense whether or not we'll get it or not is yet to be seen uh so far Trump has agreed to all of these circumstances but it'll be interesting to see if he'll debate her again not on friendly territory right Susan very quickly now that the debate is over how is the US Presidential calendar looking Kiron yeah we are going to be going into primaries in Pennsylvania as early as next week remember if these debates do happen the debate in October it'll actually be while Americans have started early voting uh so that'll be very interesting uh it's going to be a very interesting few months whether to see Democrats do vote early and these states are going to start voting early but will Republicans also do early voting and go to the pools they're traditionally known to go on Election Day and will we get an idea of who's really ahead in these elections in the next few weeks those are the questions and the things that we'll be watching for all right Susan thank you so much for all those updates from New York for all the latest news download the Von app And subscribe to our YouTube channel
