hey folks welcome back to crime and Chaos today though it's more like crime time with comedy today we've got a story that'll make you think twice about your babysitter's resume grab your popcorn because this one's a doozy meet Nicole verzy a 29-year-old PhD student from California now you'd think someone studying Clinical Psychology would know a thing or two about not harming children apparently Nicole missed that lecture our not so good doctor to be was visiting friends in Pittsburgh when things went horribly wrong she was babysitting six week old twins probably thinking it' be great practice for her child psychology thesis spoiler alert it wasn't one of the twins ended up in the hospital with injuries to his genitals I guess Nicole thought first Do no harm was more of a suggestion than a rule but wait it gets worse while the parents were at the hospital with one twin Nicole was left alone with little Leon and let's just say her babysitting skills are about as good as her ethics Leon ended up with multiple skull fractures Nico explanation he fell out of a bouncy chair yeah and I'm the Queen of England now Nicole's lawyer is claiming she's innocent describing her as a caring individual because nothing says caring like a baby with a cracked skull right Nicole's now facing charges of homicide aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child she's pleaded not guilty but something tells me her PhD in making terrible Life Choices isn't going to hold up in court in all seriousness folks this is a tragic case my heart goes out to the family of these innocent babies let's hope Justice is served that's all for today's crime time with comedy remember always background check your babysitters and maybe avoid the ones writing dissertations on this psychology of Shakeen baby syndrome stay safe out there
