Un and then he gave Kim Jong I laughed I thought it was brilliant I just thought good on you Donald I'm the rocket man yeah um I Donald's always been a fan of mine and he's been to my concerts many many times um so I mean I've always been friendly towards him and I I thank him for his support yeah when he did that I just thought it was hilarious was made me laugh he's like a more a sexier version of Joy bear I think the interviewer expected a different response so it's good to see a celeb who was a friend of Trumps who doesn't reflexively denounce him now although he did ask that Donald stopped introducing kamla with the backat [Applause] feeling guilty now cat Elton John said also that he doesn't care if his fans or Republicans or Democrat and that he appreciates all their support was that a good economic choice or is this just the way decent people think yeah he said I will vote for whoever you want doesn't matter and I sadly think he's going to get backlashed for that or he has me people to just simply say anything short of you know if you better vote this way or the whole country is going to be destroyed and it's going to be your fault and that's what that's that is somehow the not the position that you need to say in order to be acceptable to people to me he was like Hey I know this guy and yeah that was funny when he did that but hey you vote how you want to vote I more people should be like that and we would be in a healthier place as a country overall if more people were like that I mean I I hate to bring this up and I really do hate to bring this up about it like it's not insane and like C talking about sports by the way even if the the back you know that the backlash is big if I know about it but but but it's momies yeah that's what you think those for the days Lee uh were you expect do you think that the interviewer was kind of expecting him to to be somewhat disappointed by this this information yeah absolutely I mean he's cutting against the grain and and I I love it by the way it was brilliant when President Trump said it and and people were flipping out as if he was going to start World War III Kim Jong-un was known to be homicidal not suicidal and as far as The Scouting Report the the whole your you know my red buttons bigger than your red button calling him a little rocket man it actually was a pretty smart thing that creates like in the mind of a Kim Jong-un well maybe president Trump actually would follow through with these threats which ends up resulting in the other instruments of National Power being pretty strong I remember during this time being in the capital I was meeting with Boris Johnson there was there was four Republicans there were there was you know at that point he was not yet the Prime Minister he was in the cabinet he had a few people from his side and he was just talking about Rocket Man and and laughing and he was he was he was serious he was with with admiration towards president Trump we saw with foreign leaders that you had a president of the United States who believed in American exceptionalism who wanted our country to be strong and wanted adversaries to know we're not going to mess around it was actually really smart for him to do it and I agree with El John it was brilliant wow how a nickname can change foreign policy chap this is another thing you know you are a comedian are you an actor as well a very terrible actor but a good comedian see I I feel like Elon Elton is too big to care like people in your business have to are have to worry about your publicist and your publicist is almost always a miserable leftist you know and it's like they don't want you to they don't want you to cross any line but he can like say whatever he wants well I know maybe not too much here's the thing you know how hard it is to sell records in North Korea yeah it's not that risky of a move to to to like Kim jong-un's like fair game to trash on so it wasn't that risky of him to take a stance on it but I still I agree with everyone here that it was brilliant and funny and I wish more people were like Elton John and saying like dude I like why are you involving me in this he's my friend he's come to concerts like I I don't he didn't say who he's voting for or anything he just said that that's a good guy I wish more people were like that and also who' have
