Jackson of the Los Angeles Sparks was named unrivaled and today DJ Carrington of the Connecticut sun has also been named as unrivaled again this makes DJ Carrington the 19th out of the 30 players again it'll only be 30 players that will be uh coming to play and January of next year right the top of next year January 2025 in Miami to play in the unrival league it says so what is unrival again them on the website it says an Innovative three versus three professional women's basketball league founded by two current US Olympians nefisa Kier and Brianna Stewart since the league will feature six teams with five players on each team the inaugural season is January of 2025 in Miami what makes unrivaled unique it says unrivaled would feature a brand new style of three versus three basketball the games will be played on a compressed full court 70 by 50 ft the league is also setting a record with the highest average salaries in women's sports history all 30 players will receive Equity ownership which is amazing so they're actually you know they're investing in these women so all the players they going to actually be able to uh take out Equity or or um invest in equity in the league really really good very very uh amazing opportunity for these women says so who is playing in unrivaled it says unrivaled will feature 30 of the top professional players in women's basketball says what is the format of the league the season will include eight weeks of total play including playoffs the six teams will play in a round robin schedule the top four teams in the standings at the conclusion of the regular season will make the playoffs because how long are games games will be played in a one-hour broadcast window there will be four quarters to play with the game clock and shot clock say who is coaching unrivaled is conducting interviews with coaching candidates each team will have a head coach and an assistant coach say one versus tournament says unrival will feature a one versus single one versus one single elimination tournament played in February to determine the best one versus one player in the world so really really good so again when I Google the unrival Basketball League salary it says at a minimum of 100,000 to each player the total player playout would be $3 million but arrival minimum would be much higher so again WNBA salaries range from $64,500 to $241,900 th000 then another article states that each season of unrival will last eight weeks and will run during the WNBA offseason says the average salaries reportedly anticipated $250,000 this which is the equivalent to The wnba's League wide maximum salary again I'm so happy that these women are getting paid and um you know it's an amazing thing so these are the current investors who actually pull money and resources together to actually fund the unrivaled women's basketball league I'm like well you know some people H in their pockets they're like how are ban Stewart and Aisa Kier able to just pay all these women 30 women $100,000 so they're not uh they're like spearheading it right and also it's like how are these women able to actually have ownership Equity ownership in the WNBA well it's a lot of freaking investors okay let me name some Alex Morgan okay Megan rapo Morgan's for uh former teammate so Alex Morgan is a co- captain of the US Women's National Soccer Team all right so women who play soccer are invested in women's basketball Carmelo Anthony says the three-time Olympic gold medalist and 10 time NBA All-Star Steve Nash who was a former NBA player so man and women alike I love it John Skipper former president of ESPN and co-founder of metal lar media says David Levy former president of Turner and co-chief executive of horizon Sports and experiences uh Ann snof former CEO CEO of Warner Bros Gary uh vuk CEO and chairman at Vayner media Ashton Kutcher actor producer and philanthropist Dan Rosen wi executive chairman of CH hey shout out to CH desire Gruber television producer and founder CEO of full picture Dan Benton CEO of Andor capital and tyus and Trey Jones NBA play so again I'm so happy for RIA Jackson um you know D carington Angel Reese NAFA cier Natasha Cloud all the ladies who are right now again right now they have 19 they've named 19 of the 30 um unrivaled players again like this is just my dream list I hope to see Kennedy Carter even though her well I can't even put it out there because both Kennedy Carter and Camila cardoso have stated that they are going overseas to play in China to get their money up so hey you know what it is what it is but I would have liked to see Camilo cardoso Kennedy Carter um who else and you know just amongst other women but um you know again like this is an amazing opportunity to get paid this mess got me tight because it's like they hit the genetic Lottery like n kingon she stands at 5'11 freaking Ang re 63 Ria Jackson gorgeous as ever okay she's like modeless she's 6 foot two imagine getting paid $250,000 for playing basketball for just two months again like the unrival league it'll last for eight weeks okay during the offseason so January February March so during March Madness it'll uh die down it'll end after they make the playoffs right in their one versus one tournament and then come back up you know the the WNBA regular season but again it's like it's not fair here I am in the military guys I could have been a freaking professional basketball player like this is the greatest time right so far for for women's sports and women's basketball and right now like y'all should be raising y daughters if they tall even if they're not tall get them in the gym and give them a damn ball you can make $250,000 y'all playing two months worth of basketball again I'm in the wrong profession and it's it sucks because January 2025 now I will be covering the games I just got to see where uh where and when it'll be broadcasted on what app I got to download hopefully it'll be on League Pass like I already paid my money it's called league pass for a reason okay I'm sorry I keep Haring complaining but League Pass shipping right now I can't watch Andy and a People game because I got it on CBS Sports I'm done with them I gota wait two hours until and I gotta work in the morning I'm through and I got class tonight okay but again like I want to I will be covering the unrivaled uh games I want to see I want to actually take inventory like all the rookies of this year U Angel Reese right I want to actually look at her stats for the 2024 WNBA season I want to see how she plays during this rival league and then come the 2025 WNBA season I want to see if there's a change could there be a possible you know um has she improved at all amongst other players but um again like so we got 11 slots left guys D kingon this morning she was named number 19 of the 30 who do you guys think will be next right again I have some players that um they ask Caitlyn Clark like what Caitlyn Clark uh be next on un arrival who knows um of course like she has enough money as is but um she they had asked her in an interview some weeks ago and she just said like you know one thing at a time she just wants to focus on this so I mean I don't know but it would draw eyes let's be honest if Caitlyn Clark Wass to you know come through en jooin un rival it would put more eyes on the sport and on this because again this is an amazing opportunity I would do it just to get more practice and like you know work on my game because again 3 by3 again it'll be on a smaller compressed court but again like your stamina again like it's just going to be it's going to be a little bit more challenging I believe the the traditional five on five basketball style of play so again congratulations to
