smt Nation we are back quick update for you guys here uh AT&T network uh looks like there are some troubles with the wireless network it appears I've pulled up the down detector to show you guys what's going on here I'll go ahead and Link that for you you might be impacted by this let's take a look at what's happening so a link for the down detector will be provided Link in the description ways to support us can be found there as well you want to help out the channel you can by liking this video sharing it to others let them know what's happening uh that also helps them find our Channel and uh gets our channel to the algo salute to you guys for helping us out and doing that and supporting your favorite creators please do like and share this video subscribe if you're new here and turn on the Bell notifications to never miss an upload from the smt all right so AT&T obviously you know they've got Wireline they run DSL they run fiber uh they're also a wireless provider that's a big business for them so check out the AT&T outages over the last few hours everything seems pretty normal from last night to this morning and here's kind of a view in the afternoon right so things appear to be picking up a little bit nothing out of the ordinary though but watch as we go from like i' say like 3:30 p.m. the reports start increasing very rapidly right there's a th000 reports by 449 p.m. 2,000 reports 20 minutes later right 20 minutes after that we're already over 3,500 reports by the time you're at 600 p.m. you're at 4,200 reports right and now at the time of this recording it's it's just about 5 or 10 minutes shy of 700 p.m. we're over 5,000 reports and this could escalate further I'm not sure but uh I've seen mentions of it within certain metropolitan areas I've I've heard Texas I've heard um you know areas of the Southwest and also California um I'm not sure who it might be you know impacting I see SOS in Dallas you know some of the disclosures here from folks um Illinois here's Orange County California Indianapolis Indiana um I don't think I'm seeing these same troubles I'm not seeing it here but this is just Cleveland you know so I mean it it appears to be Market to Market it doesn't appear to be National it doesn't appear to be um you know even Regional it just appears to be just kind of City dependent so I'll continue to track it to see if it's something bigger this kind of possibly might rule out a fiber cut I'm not sure again I I don't have technical disclosures I'm not even sure if this will be something that'll catch national news being so late in the day you know what I mean so the problems could be rectified and fixed in the evening but um you obviously it's it's not ideal any type of outages but uh this kind of complicates things further for AT&T which has already been in hot water for several other outages and issues with hacks and breaches and uh they they really don't need this I mean they got the CWA worker problem uh that you know the the worker strike in the Southeast uh definitely not good times at AT&T and I'm not sure if they'll even acknowledge this they'll try to you know sweep it under the rug and try to move Beyond it and get whatever problems fixed here but definitely elevated down to Factor indications here um but if this impacts first net if this impacts businesses you know the ability to run transactions if it impacts a large number of wireless customers I mean I mean how many how many of these can customers really take if this scale is large right anyways we'll see don't want to jump to any conclusions hopefully they fix it fast people get connected quickly and uh we just move on from it we'll see what happens though uh but AT&T you know not looking good um definitely you know questionable on the reliability side as these things seem to be happening all too often what's your take sound off in the comment section below y the voice of the people the smt nation let your voice be heard
