president Trump wrapping up a swing through some west coast states appearing to leave the door open to another debate with vice president kamla Harris when asked by Fox News this as Harris held a rally in Pennsylvania last night as her campaign launches new tv ads focused on the economy welcome to Fox News Live I'm Jackie Hinrich I'm Griff Jenkins Jackie great to be here in studio we have a busy Saturday indeed Harris sitting last night for her first solo interview since becoming the Democrat Party nominee where she has being criticized for dodging question on the specifics of our economic plan Mark Meredith is live in Las Vegas with the very latest hey Mark well obviously not Griff good morning to you former president Trump has said repeatedly he's not interested in another debate with vice president Harris even if the public wants to see it happen because we saw more than 67 million people tune in for that debate earlier in the week Trump critics and even some of his stous supporters though were surprised at Trump's debate performance one Republican senator calling it a miss opportunity last night at his rally here in Las Vegas Trump accused ABC the network which was hosting the debate of trying to boost Harris over him by factchecking some of his remarks I said that crime was up massively I didn't want to go into the details what's the purpose crime was up massively and David mure you know he's another one doesn't have a clue you know and his hair was much better five years ago I can tell you the Harris campaign says it is willing to participate in another debate it raised more than $47 million since the debate performance but Harris herself says the event was lackluster it was the same old show the same tired Playbook we've heard for years with no plan no plan on how he would address the needs of the American people well folks it's time to turn the page meantime the Trump campaign facing growing questions about a woman who's been showing up a lot around the former president and that is conservative activist Laura lomer she's been called a fringe conspiracy theorist because she called 911 an inside job but Trump says he wants to keep her around he posted on true social quote lumer doesn't work for the campaign she's a private citizen and longtime supporter I disagree with the statements that she's made but like millions of people who support me she's tired of watching the radical left Marxist and fascists violently attack and smear me we'll look to see if lomer continues to show up with Trump on the trail he is going to be back in Battleground States later on this week Griff making stops in North Carolina and Michigan Griff and we will be watching Mark Meredith kicking things all for us in Vegas mark thank you Jackie for more on former president Trump's campaign following the debate let's bring in Trump campaign national press secretary Caroline levit Caroline thanks for being here great to see you Jackie thanks for having me thank you um so the former president has said that he might not debate vice president Harris again but as you just saw she's been out on the campaign Trail um sort of ribbing him for what he left unsaid in the debate including on the details of his health care plan wouldn't it benefit Trump to redeem himself and he could agree to a fox debate and box her in well as you know earlier in the campaign cycle president Trump did agree to a fox debate with KLA Harris and she didn't show up it turned into a town hall in Pennsylvania with Sean Hannity which was great because president Trump was able to take questions directly from voters and that's the most important audience that matters in this election and according to voters president Trump won Tuesday night's debate Reuters had a poll showing six and 10 undecided voters are leaning towards president Trump the New York Times even had a headline that said that while the mainstream media may say Kamala did a better job undecided voters disagree they believe that President Trump showed strength and he has a real plan on the issues that matter to them such as the economy the wide open border healthc care for instance and the wars that have broken out over this world under kamla Harris's leadership and I think president Trump's closing argument at the debate nailing kamla Harris and saying if you have all of these new policies why haven't you implemented them over the past four years voters know she is wholly responsible for the problems they are facing and feeling and president Trump is the only candidate in this race who can fix them to your point about that the voters do want to hear about his plans his closing argument got let's see 7 17.6 million views on Tik Tok the day after the debate it is now up to 24.6 million Harris has got uh 4.7 million but you know we still have not heard him articulate the specifics on the healthc care plan and you know instead our social media feeds have been inundated with remixes of his comments about you know this Fringe claim that Haitian immigrants are eating pets in Ohio um that was evidently brought to his attention by this figure Laura lomer um who has promoted this Theory he's been hanging around with her how close is Trump to Laura lomer and why is he bringing her around with him well as president Trump said yesterday this individual does not work for the campaign she's simply a supporter of the president and he doesn't agree with everything she said he doesn't agree with everything that all of his supporters said he is building a big tent movement being supported by people like tulsey gabard in RFK Jr and while they don't all agree on everything they agree on the most important thing and that is ensuring ala Harris cannot be elected as president of the United States considering she is a radical liberal and I'm glad you brought up Healthcare Jackie because I'd love your audience to know where kamla Harris stands on that issue she supports a socialist takeover of our health care System supporting Bernie Sanders socialist Medicare for all which would cost taxpayers $32 trillion kamla Harris also wants to give amnesty to the nearly 20 million illegal people that she's allowed into this country which will absolutely devastate and crumble healthare system and she wants to make taxpayers fund transgender surgeries for illegal immigrants those are radical positions she does not deserve to be elected president of the United States the American people will make that clear on November we did he we did hear the former president try to distance himself from Laura lommer but he didn't denounce any specific statements that she has made uh she once called 911 an inside job he brought her to a 911 Rememberance ceremony uh she he said she said that if Harris wins the election the White House will smell like Curry that's a racist joke about Harris's Indian Heritage jie Vance's wife is Indian I does he denounce those statements specifically president Trump denounced those statements yesterday when he said he does not agree with all of the comments that this individual has made president Trump went to the 911 ceremony uh to honor those lives that have been T that were taken from us on that fateful day to honor their families he showed up to a fire station in Shanksville Pennsylvania and was griev with enormous Applause by the way by the family members of those firefighters who were lost on 911 while kamla Harris was not given the same reception and so again Americans understand where president Trump stands on the issues they know that he is the best candidate in this election and I think it's pitiful that the media is constantly asking questions like this of President Trump but not asking Kamala Harris if she agrees with all the statements made by her supporters like maybe Vladimir Putin who recently endorsed kamla Harris for president does she agree with him does k Harris agree with her own running mate Tim Walls putting tampons in Men in women's bathrooms in public schools she needs to be asked those questions as well if president Trump is going to be held to this ridiculous standard well if it's a ridiculous standard I mean there are members of the Republican Party who have voiced a lot of concern about her presence uh on the president's campaign uh from Republican Senators Lindsey Graham Tom Tom Tillis congresswoman Marjorie Taylor green should we expect fact then given what you just told me that we won't be seeing any more of Laura lommer on the campaign trail with President Trump look as I said repeatedly now president Trump does not agree with all of the statements that were made by this individual president Trump has been building the most diverse political movement that this country has ever seen he has unified the Republican party uh and the great thing about Republicans Jackie is that we can share when we disagree with one another but we still understand the bigger picture and that we cannot afford to have com Harris be president of the United States unlike the Democrats who try to censor in silence anyone who disagrees with them as evidenced by big Tech censorship of President Trump and also as evidenced by their lawsuits against RFK Jr to try to keep him off of the ballot and their attempts to keep president Trump off of the ballot by waging political law fair against him so while we don't agree with everything that everyone says all of the time we understand that we have a country to save and KLA Harris is a dangerous liberal and she should not be president of the United States is that a no that be traveling I will leave it to president Trump but as I have said to you she is not a part of this campaign she is not an official staffer she is a supporter and next time Ian Sams or one of car uh kamla Harris's uh surrogates are on this network I hope you'll ask them if they agree with kamla Harris if kamla Harris agrees with everything that all of her supporters has ever said we we do pose those questions um I sit in the front row of the White House every day and ask questions like that uh and we will continue to do so Caroline love I hope so thank you very much for your time appreciate it thanks we had about 15,000 or so immigrants move to my town of 60,000 now you might say wow that's a lot of people for a town that only had 60,000 before that's a 25% increase that is correct so you might imagine there are some challenges with you know integrating a new population new language new culture new dietary uh preferences all kinds of reasons why there might be growing pains but the bottom line is these people came to Springfield because there were jobs for them and they were willing to work and they wanted to live the American dream that's singer John Legend weighing in on his hometown of Springfield Ohio where an influx of Haitian immigrants has become a political flasho for more on this let's bring in the attorney general for the state of Ohio Dave Yost Dave thank you for taking time and as uh John Legend pointed out there it is nearly a third of the population has now uh come to this Tiny Town in fact we can show you the numbers it's 15 to 20,000 Haitians in the past four years have come to this town of 58,000 that's quite a significant number let me start Dave with asking you what has been the impact of this influx on Springfield well you know the people in Springfield are good-hearted people um they're they're not mean they try to help folks that need a helping hand there's not a town in the country can absorb a quarter to a third of its own population that doesn't speak the English and is coming here for the first time the the systems there are breaking uh for example there was 150 or so students that were Hai uh last year this year it's over 500 there's 4,000 more than 4,000 Haitians that are receiving Public Assistance uh which is partly paid for by the state government um everybody's got a stake in this and uh this isn't about who it's about how many yeah Dave in fact I've covered extensively on this network the CH andv program the controversial legal pathway program to bring Cubans Haitians Nicaraguan and Venezuelans here it was recently paused because of evidence of fraud recently restarted but under that on the CBP website more than 205,000 specific Haitians have come into this country since January of last year and I understand you are looking at a possible lawsuit looking at legal Pathways to see just how far the federal government uh's power goes tell me about that yeah I mean let's think about an absurd extension if if the federal government has no limits on its power uh could they for example uh resettle all 10 or 12 million people that have come in in the last four years uh into America in Ohio that would double our population uh there's no way the state and its towns could absorb that we already have problems with housing crisis and Health Care access in places uh so the question is what is the limiting principle on federal Supremacy here and what can they do uh to a member State without the state's consent um these are important questions uh and we're looking for a way to get this in front of the federal judge taking a look right now at the authorizing statute and the and the rules that run this program that govern this program and to see whether that's within proper legal bounds do you anticipate you'll bring legal action we're looking um I I can't give you an estimate just yet um you know the creative and nearly impossible a little bit of time Mr attorney general are is Springfield or the state of Ohio receiving any federal money to support this resettlement of this population well sure there's some federal money uh obviously um the federal government pays for uh part of um Medicaid there's Federal money for SNAP uh and such um so it's not that there's no money uh but there certainly is not any close to the resources that you need to provide housing for 20,000 people what town of 60,000 could find housing for 20,000 people almost overnight you just can't do it and across the country we're already having this debate about affordable housing this is exacerbating it and Dave the residents there in Springfield are starting to speak out about the toll it's taking on them this is one that spoke out to my colleague Jesse Waters the other night our food pantries um they they get stripped our our clinics which is rocking horse is a federally funded clinic in town um their budget was decimated what what we are is a city that only wants our safety security and sovereignty back have you spoken to the mayor or any of the local leaders there and are they on the same page with understanding just how taxed the residents are feeling uh they very much are uh look I was out there uh as early as June and was hearing about this from uh the mayor and I've talked with police officials and the County Sheriff County Sheriff elect uh I I've heard from a lot of folks but they're also concerned that this whole National debate and particularly the attempt by the left-wing media to try to shut down this debate is putting their town in a bad light and I don't blame him this is a great Heartland town in America uh a strong history uh they're good people they're good-hearted people um but it illustrates what is wrong with the current Administration policy on immigration they don't manage it they don't communicate they don't support it uh and they just let people come out uh and we see the results of it here in Springfield here's the thing this could happen to any city in America this could happen to your town and lastly Mr attorney general before you run out of time two schools received bomb threats and were closed on Friday yeah let me be really clear that's a serious second deegree felony in Ohio to do a bomb threat for a school we also have reports this morning that there were bomb threats at medical facilities here on Saturday knock it off uh bomb threats are not part of political discourse they're not free speech uh it's a crime and the police are going to take it seriously and I know the local authorities will take those cases to court Mr attorney general thank you for your time we appreciate it please keep us posted and updated on whether or not any legal action will be forthcoming you bet thank you sir Jackie gri President Biden will return to the White House afternoon from Delaware this following his administration's announcement that 14 Isis operatives were killed during a joint raid with Iraqi forces Lucas tomson is live from outside the White House with more on this hey Lucas good afternoon Jackie that raid was led by American soldiers from the elite 75th Ranger regiment and despite the White House approving it it's notable what vice president kamla Harris said during the debate and as of today there is not one member of the United States military who was in active duty in a combat zone in any war zone around the world the first time this Century now it's not just the Rangers getting after it Jackie for months the USS Dwight D Eisenhower launched F-18 Super hornets and Growlers like this to carry out air strikes against Iran's Rebel Army in Yemen warships in the strike group shot down dozens of ballistic missiles and drones combat the Navy says they have not seen since World War II when Ike returned to Norfolk in July here was the final tally 155 surface ter missiles fired from the strike group's Cruiser and destroyers 135 Tom Hall cruise missiles also launched from those warships ice Jets fired 60 air to- a missiles and dropped 420 bombs now last night the US military Central Command responsible for the Middle East said that American Strike Force killed four Isis leaders in that raid in Iraq last month one had a $5 million bounty on his head now here at the White House during a visit with his British counterpart meeting him for the first time President Biden did not say whether he would approve long- range strikes by Ukraine deep into Russian territory using American or British missiles what do you say to Vladimir Putin's thre of War Mr President I don't think much about Vlad Putin and later talking to reporters White House National Security spokesman John Kirby said no final decision has been made yet Jackie Lucas thinon for us at the White House thanks Lucas gr successfully launched a satellite into space early today using a rocket built by the country's revolutionary guard it comes after un sanctions on Iran's ballistic missile program expired in October the Islamic Republic says space program is peaceful but experts say the technology it uses could be adapted for military purposes Fox News was in the southern Gaza City of Rafa Friday embedded with the IDF including a look at the tunnel shaft where six hostages were found dead earlier this month this as we're getting new reports of more IDF operations in the city Nate Foy is tracking all of it from Tel Aviv hey Nate hey Griff so today in central Gaza Israeli a air strikes killed at least 14 people the IDF says that they targeted Hamas weapons manufacturing facilities that was in Gaza City but farther south in Rafa where we were embedded with the IDF yesterday we saw nothing but destruction the city is evacuated but the IDF says they haven't seen a civilian there in a month the only people who remain there are Hamas terrorist where the IDF says in Rafa Hamas is defeated but not demolished so take a look at our Ride Along yesterday we started in the Philadelphia Corridor the Border area between Rafa and Egypt Israel wants to maintain a presence here as part of its ceasefire demands but there is debate within Israel's military leadership and broadly across the country about whether or not that's necessary here here's some of what we saw yesterday the underground tunnel Network in Rafa is among the most extensive and elaborate in all of Gaza according to the IDF since invading Rafa back in may they have discovered 200 tunnels uh here at the Philadelphia Corridor behind me nine of those tunnels lead into Egypt this right here is one of them so Griff the IDF says Hamas used tunnels like that for smuggling but also firing long range Rockets believing that Israel wouldn't return fire because of how close it is to the Egyptian border now north of the corridor and deeper into Rafa we saw the tunnel shaft where Israeli forces entered two weeks ago and found six hostages murdered by Hamas terrorists you mentioned that included American Israeli hsh Goldberg Poland here's IDF spokesman Daniel hagari telling us what he found inside that tunnel they were executed in this tunnel this tunnel was like a cell with an iron door in the the end it was bling the tunnel and this is something very hard to see tonight in Tel Aviv thousands are expected to gather this happens every single week a weekly protest where people are calling on the government to reach a deal to bring the remaining hostages home Israel believes there are 101 hostages who are still in Gaza Unfortunately they estimate that 35 of those hostages are already dead Griff 200 tunnels in the Philadelphia Corridor which is a relatively small area great reporting Nate Foy live for us in t aiv Nate thanks Jackie Griff brand new Fox Power Rankings show a shift in key Battleground States more on that coming up next can you do wait in on the presidential election appearing to slam both candidates by urging Catholic voters to quote choose the Lesser evil Fox News chief religion correspondent Lauren Green is live with more on this Lauren Hey Jackie well you know as a rule popes don't weigh in on elections but yesterday Pope Francis slammed both presidential candidates for their policies concerning life and told Catholics essentially to do some soul searching before casting their ballot on this on his return trip from Asia the pope spoke with journalists on the papal plane asked which candidate Catholics should support given the choice of one who supports abortion or one who closes borders the pope said both candidates States oppose life inally you must vote and you must choose the Lesser evil who is the Lesser evil that lady or that gentleman both are against life whether it's the one who is chasing away migrants or the one that kills children both are against life well number one on Trump's platform is promising to seal the border and stop the quote migrant Invasion and Promises the largest deportation in American history if reelected president Pope Francis said migration is a right that is in the Bible's Old Testament and on the issue of abortion Francis has continually reaffirmed Catholic teaching calling it a grave evil the killing of a human being kamah Hara staunchly defends abortion as a fundamental Freedom never uh never stating if she would agree to any restrictions she has a 100% rating with the nation's largest abortion provider Planned Parenthood right now Catholics appear to be leaning towards Trump though according to a new Pew Research Center survey Cath favor the former president by 52 to 47% margin and by the way Pope Franc has never actually called either candidate by name Jackie all right Lauren Green for us thank you so much Lauren it's 270 to win Harris now holds an overall lead for the first time in our Fox Power Rankings forecast with 241 Electoral College votes in the haris column 219 for Trump now these Six States you see here Pennsylvania North Carolina Georgia Wisconsin Arizona and Nevada we have as a toss up they are likely going to make the difference one interesting one though that is Michigan which was the seventh swing state that one trending is moved from tossup to lean Democrat Now history suggests that most of the Battleground swing states are going to move together on Election night I'll get to that in a moment but that's why it makes this election anybody's game now this is something Jackie that we're really watching and that is North Carolina and Georgia moved from lean Republican meaning for Trump to toss-ups that is a real battle that's going to happen here now let me just clear that and go here so add those Six States up that's a total of 78 electoral votes now we told you Harris has 241 to Trump's to9 you can see obviously Pennsylvania a very big purse to get there but you take Georgia and North Carolina that's 32 that would greatly impact that as you lay out the different combinations of ways to get there and we can see from that that clearly Pennsylvania is yet again a huge important prize but whether or not Trump can bounce back and try and get his advantage that he certainly had when Biden was a candidate as opposed to now Harris in Georgia and North Carolina that could really even this map up a little bit now lastly I just want to show you I mentioned history shows us that these Battleground States will often move together you can see here in 2016 Arizona Georgia Michigan Pennsylvania North Carolina all going for Trump but obviously in 20120 you saw that same uh Battleground States move except for North Carolina which stayed red moved in the in the Democrat Direction that's really going to be a big part Jackie of what happens in 52 days as they battle it out Jackie all right Griff thank you for more let's bring in our political panel with us today huh spee no spe spe for speech foreign spee for speech foreign huhe s s okay for spee spee for Fore speee get father son thank byee
