NFL DFS is back baby and your chance to win Millions is right here NFL week one of the 2024 season is upon us and it's time to start looking at how we're going to want to build our DFS lineups now listen I get it everybody's chasing the big money in the gpp tournaments you want to win the Millie maker on DraftKings you want to win the Sunday million on FanDuel well in order to do that you need to get a little weird in your lineup everybody's going to play Tyreek Hill everybody's going to play Alvin chra right it's how you differentiate yourself from the herd that's what wins it a guy who scores 20 points at 50% ownership but a guy who scores 20 points at 10% ownership that's what we're talking about so here are my top contrarian plays at each position courtesy of fantasy alarm and it starts with quarterback to a tongue of aloa of the Miami Dolphins listen if Tyreek Hill is a first rounder and Jaylen Wadd is a third rounder why is there no love for Tua ever is it because he's left-handed come on is it because it's a run first offense please his running backs catch passes the Jaguars ranked 15th in dvoa against the pass they didn't exactly beef up their secondary in the off season journeyman Ronald Derby he ain't getting it done at running back I love Joe Mixon so much focus on CJ strout and his receivers that there's no love for the running game listen I get it Texans use the pass to set up the run but if they jump out to a lead they want to just run that clock out they're going to utilize Joe Mixon the Colts ranked 18th in dvoa against the run last year and this is the first time in his career that Joe Mixon gets a fullback to help plow the streets in front of him so shout out to Alex Beck and the fact that Joe Mixon is going to have a path nice and clear for him big running Lanes at wide receiver Mike Evans Tampa Bay Buccaneers unbelievable 10 straight thousand yard seasons and still no love what is up with that he's still Baker Mayfield's favorite Target and have you guys ever watched Benjamin St juice try to cover any wide receiver in the NFL let alone Mike Evans please Evans gonna have another solid effort here and so far the projections have him at ownership at less than eight% at the tight end position how about a little Pat friou there's no love for the Steelers at all because nobody likes Russell Wilson and nobody likes Arthur Smith but Fri Mo's likely to see the second most Targets on this team the Falcons they spent so much time focusing on pass rushers during the off season that their linebackers actually might struggle a little bit in coverage frm's a big widebody he's always great in the red zone and makes for a fantastic Endzone Target so there you go some top contrarian plays build those lineup check out everything we've got over at fantasyalarm.com if you don't subscribe do it now fantasyalarm.com win promo code let's go gets you 50% off your first month you can dive into that my watch list John and pema's Playbook oh baby I'm Howard Bender we'll catch you next time and we'll see you all in the money this year [Applause]
