810 Million Mega Millions Ticket Sold! it was sold here last night and uh we're excited for that customer lightning has struck again this time with the game Mega Millions in the United States this is a Lottery news alert there's one megga Millions ticket worth a jackpot of 8810 Powerball Winner Timothy Schultz Hosts million that was just sold in Sugarland Texas it is the seventh largest jackpot in the game's history it was sold at Murphy USA gas station whoever the mystery person is that purchased this ticket chose the cash lumpsum option upon purchase which comes to 49.3 million before taxes if you're new to this channel my name is Timothy Schultz I actually also am a lottery winner in 1999 I won the Powerball in the United States but I am now meeting and interviewing other lottery winners and people who have defied the odds in various ways in life I will put a link to some of these interviews in the description of this video but this massive prize just happened in Sugarland Texas and I just spoke with the district manager on the phone about the win so what was it like having your store sell the winning Mega Millions ticket this massive 800 million yeah I tell you it's Gas Station Manager Reacts to Jackpot Win um it's probably the most exciting news that we've had all year we uh um we found out last night we started getting calls over the phone I got a um call late last night around midnight before we close and then in the morning we had media here already at 4:00 a.m. from Fox to CNBC etc etc there they all were here and it was so exciting to get a uh it's so exciting for the customer because one of the principles that we uh we live by here at Murphy USA is citizenship right and really taking care of our community so it's good to have it in Sugarland Texas and it's actually good to have it in Texas but it's glad glad it was here yeah yeah that's incredible that's amazing and the fact that they were there at 4:00 a.m. I mean there has to be a lot of excitement and Buzz around there today there is there is a lot of Excitement at Murphy USA in Sugarland excitement a lot of excitement um it kind of slowed down but we are seeing an uptake in sales um the good thing about it is it does it does U give some uh some exposure to the store and the team here they got a great team here great manager uh great team members they are so nice to the community here a lot of regulars come in um that's that's how we like it here at Murphy USA and it's really good to know that somebody um hopefully was a regular uh did hit that 800 million do you have any idea who Is the Mega Millions Winner a Regular Customer? might have won it we don't uh we don't so we've um we've been doing some um interviews all day we have not I've been here since the morning actually and we have not seen or heard um the name or the individual come in h and have the lottery officials been in there sometimes they say that after these major jackpots that the lottery officials will come in and review the surveillance footage if that sort of thing exists and uh review the sale has that sort of thing happened yet yeah so Lottery Officials Validate Winning Ticket uh Lottery lottery representation comes in we have them uh we have support from them every every month we have our own uh our own rep but their uh I guess their senior managers have already showed up this morning uh they validated with the ticket from the machine and uh yeah it's validated that's amazing and does your Does the Gas Station Get a Commission?
