442-5222 and upperclassmen welcomed first year students at Lemoyne College today for move in day. I had the chance to meet with some of those students and their families as they embark on a new journey. I love first year students at Lemoyne College were given a dolphin welcome. We have some international students that have joined us too. >> Some coming as far as the West Coast, others staying a little closer to home, like Wesley Driscoll. >> It feels really good because if I like, need something from home, they can just drop it off here or something. And if I feel homesick, I can just come home during the weekend. You know, instead of other kids that live extremely far away. >> But for the Madison County native, he's just a car ride away. >> We encouraged him to live on campus even though we're close. >> We live close by because we want him to get that experience. >> Being a Lemoyne graduate himself, it's an experience, Driscoll never got, but one he wanted for his son. After visiting campus. >> They showed me around and I just loved the place, so I had to come. >> Wesley, now following in his parents footsteps, both Lemoyne graduates from what we understand, it was our input and stories that he heard growing up about when we came here that that pushed him to want to be here and that was one of those things where you think, oh, I guess we talked about it a little bit.
