surrounded today by pageantry and tradition check out this seed we got high hopes for another exciting college football game we've got a terrific match up tonight anticipation been building in this campus all day long as we'll see a team from the Sun Belt the coal Carolina Shanta clear taking on a team from Conference USA the Jacksonville State game Cops get set to kick it [Applause] [Music] away and he takes inside the five and he'll be tackled after a solid effort on that return so the Coastal Carolina Shanta clear offense making their way on the field to open this game will it be they'll come out throwing here to start the drive let's him fly to the wide out oh downfield catch made on the left side quarterback drops back from the shotgun looking for a receiver thrs a fast ball but it's intercepted not a great return but the interception wipes out the scoring threat and gives the off the ball in 32 first down here for this offense using his legs it's Lewis he's found some room with the 45 oh and nothing but green grass ahead makes the defender Miss dropping back he going to throw for the first down makes the catch can he get in he will score touchdown Jackson take going on the last drive but it ended suddenly with the pick Let's see what they can do here they'll stop him behind the line for a loss of one8 got to have your pass protection in order on this play trying to extend the play escapes the blocket but cannot make a play in the sack back to throw it's Turner quter back leaves the pocket on the Move Now using his legs on the scramble slides to the big hit Chris watch him work through his progressions here finds the first and the second option aren't there by the third option he's got to pull it down and try to pick up some positive yards of which he did and then he slides down to avoid the big hit dropping back looking to throw for the first down looking a scramble on the move but can't find a receiver and he's block down who wins that battle this time the defense wins it and they get the sack save offense again here comes a first down pass attempt pulls it in it's Lewis they stop him but it's a first downers and a quarterback and your eyes get lost you forget about the running back nice catch and a first down shotgun formation here's an inside handoff pits into the space at the 50 from the shotgun hand off inside defense stops him but that's a solid game try and muscle for the first down looking to pass it's Turner receiver makes the grab heads out of bounds after a solid gain more than enough to pick up a first down they'll work the clock here with the running game great cut they whiff on him from the shot now here's an inside [Applause] give that kick right down the middle can't hit it any better than that with the field goal they'll kick it off now trying to make the offense go a long way to win it return starts from inside the five oh he's got a crease here look out on the move can he make it they can't catch him touchdown and they'll set up with the p is on for the extra point is good there's the snap and he just takes a knee well a combination today of some pretty stout defense but also some inept offensive play ends up being a tough loss yeah no kidding not exactly the most exciting game and especially as a quarterback it was frustrating to watch because there are a good handful of missed opportunities but hopefully you can use this to write the ship and tweak a few things and come back better
