BC Lions vs. Winnipeg Blue Bombers | CFL HIGHLIGHTS WEEK 8

cuz we didn't expect the Blue Bombers to be two and six coming into week nine this season but a lot of their losses have been really really close actually Four losses have been by combined 11 points so what would they do against the best in the west well lucky Whitehead making his season debut with the bombers he spent the last three seasons with the Lions it's the first of two meetings between the clubs in the next three weeks first quarter Vernon Adams Jr gets picked off by terral Ford Adams leading the league and passing but he threw for just 47 yards in the first half late in the quarter Winnipeg pinned deep Zach colos airs it out for Ontario Wilson and he makes a great diving catch there good for 35 yards part of 14 straight completions for karos let's go back to Whitehead now the bombers driving before the half Winnipeg is out gain BC 235 to 55 and now whitee head to the end touchdown oh lucky Whitehead returns with the bangy like gotcha what a start for Whitehead five catches for 49 yards and a touchdown in the first half the bombers led by 13 zip at the break like you said looking good Germaine the lines had just two first downs in the opening half and in the third quarter Adams gets sacked for the third time in the game Adam big hill gets this one the bombers shutting out the lines through three quarters WI a pick up 19 nothing heading to the fourth and it gets worse for the Lions 12 minutes to play Adams Under Pressure he gets taken down again and then he was in some pain the trainers came out to look at Adams he made his way gingerly to the sideline and Adam spent almost 10 minutes in the medical tent he came out with an ice pack on his right knee no words yet on his status going forward but it is the Blue Bombers who shut out the lines 25 nothing your final score that's not easy to do right the r and hunts that go through the end zone mhm but Winnipeg has now won three of their last four meetings with VC so maybe they're like let's play the Lions a little more often the bombers uh they do avoid their seventh loss of this season they actually haven't lost seven games in a full season since 2019 and Winnipeg will have a buy next week before facing the lines in week 11
