Nick was just in here talking about how coach Beamer has been challenging you guys as a defense a little bit is there anything that comes to mind something he said to y'all anything that's been effective and trying to motivate you guys yeah man I'm keep that in house but we just uh he just getting the best out of us you know he'll say specific things to me that he know will turn me up you know so and Nick as well hey Debo what feels different about the defense from what you've seen in Fall camp and what makes you feel like this group can really bring it home and you know have a better year than last year for sure just everything that we've been through like when you go through things with people it brings you together just the experience and the Brotherhood and the love we got for each other so and then we know each other that much better so I I expect nothing but the best from [Music] us uh with the defensive tackles and having having a little more depth I know it probably doesn't mean a heck of a lot for you but but Boogie was in here and has talked about how it helps keep those guys fresh so I I guess maybe in that sense does it help you guys when when you've got some tackles in front of you who are moving a little quicker and fruster and that type of deal definitely cuz like when they you know when D tackles are doing their thing and making plays that takes a load off of me like they can't get double teams to me as fast or if they game plan to me for sake and our d line is going crazy and they got a game plan for them so it's like you know the better they do the better of a chance I can do you said you weren't sure yet at media days but have you worked with the Green Dot on the helmet the new helmet communication system so with that you know that's that's a coach be question right there uh well I guess um for Old Dominion I guess Saturday what have you seen from their offense on film yeah great team um they can compete with anybody you know so I expect nothing but the best from now D I know you usually don't watch maybe watch too much film on opposing defensive players but they got a linebacker Henderson who had something like 170 tackles last year have you heard about him and then just you know what have you seen from him if you've watched yes sir a great player um hopefully he continues to do his thing you know so wish the best for him a lot of you guys on the defense decided to come back for this year including yourself what goals do you have set out for yourself this year and how forward are you how much forward are you looking towards Saturday oh I can't wait man and uh like I tell everybody I said of SEC media day Donuts that's what we want um being the best defense in the nation so every day we pushing that and we going to continue to work hard and get better every single day um what have you seen out of the uh the two transfers uh Bengali and Demetrius over this preseason camp just the competitive Spirit they want to be great you know I love that they here makes me better I make them better um as a linebacker core we just better we continue to grow together and uh Bond you know so I'm so happy they here and we just keep pushing each other appreciate y'all
