the upcoming black panther TV series is set to be heavily involving time travel and specifically how the characters of that series are going to be dealing with a major threat we haven't seen in the MCU before so let's get to the [Music] news so if you've been keeping up with what's been going on with the upcoming eyes of wakanda chances are you know that it is a small count limited series coming at us on Disney Plus and that this series will feature a group of wakandans in a different or different time periods while some brand new reports have hit that kind of been uh put all together from multiple sources from Daniel rpk to my time to shine to others that essentially paint the picture of what we can expect and according to these brand new reports it is wakandan time traveling into the past to course correct a threat that could destroy the sacred timeline for any of the events of the MCU so far have happened and that when they time travel back in time they run face to face into the horde AKA The Cosmic Locust if you will and they are more or less um giant insect like Borg let's put them that way that assimilate consume and take everything over and operate as a hive mind in Marvel Comics they visited the Earth before they've been to Earth multiple times and always they get defeated at one point they were defeated way back like uh we are talking Million Years Ago by celestials which obviously play into the MCU and what we're hearing now is that they will be featured in this we don't exactly know what time period if not multiple time periods and that essentially we are trying to catch up to the modern day of the MCU where we see how there might be time travel and or evil conspiracies behind the scenes trying to rewrite the sacred timeline history and we got wakandans on the front line trying to keep it in order hence the whole time travel element it's sounding pretty insane and Bonkers if that's a good word to say but um I like it I just need to see more of it because I am interested in this concept I want to see what they have to offer and I want to see what different time periods and characters show up such as the Iron Fist but at the same time I'm a little worried that this is going to be another one of those things that doesn't really ultimately matter in the end and then it's like well was the point of tying it into the MCU why could you just tell I don't know a separate story you know and not be limited by the MCU which has become a problem so I guess we'll wait and see till we find out more but this does inrig me it sounds like a cool premise nonetheless
