tonight. Yeah, I thought we, you know, we were just kind of explosive down the mound. Stuff was good. Average fastball was below his back where it needs to be. And you know, I felt good. So, Yeah. What do you attribute that to? The return of the velocity. I mean, it's a long season, and you go through, you know, periods of time where you just don't feel as good. And, I mean, really, that's all I got for you. You know, you keep trying to get your body ready to roll, and, you know, credit to the medical staff here. And, but it's, you know, it's just kind of you feel good sometimes, and sometimes you don't. What is the significance for you not only to have the velo early in the game, but to in the sixth be hitting 97, 98 with it? Well, usually if I've got it in the first, I might have it in the sixth. That's kind of how I've always been, but that's great, you know, to be able to, you know, hold the velo throughout the game is important. And when you need to go get something, be able to go get it in the sixth. Like we did tonight. So what's your reaction when Dylan hits that home run. And what does that do for you so early in the game? Yeah, that was awesome. I thought, you know, great at bats all game against you know Carlos and you know he's good. He's got good stuff. And but yeah awesome for Dylan. He's been fun to watch since he got here. And so you know great day for a team of a lot of young guys that are out there tonight. And the previous night. What can winning a series like this mean? Not just for what you did. These two nights, but kind of in the bigger picture and where you guys are headed now? Yeah. I mean, yeah, it's been, you know, fun to watch these new guys. You know, I think just we got to keep getting better. We still make these mistakes sometimes, as you know, if it's a staff or whatever it is on that could hurt us in the future, you know, in this series, we were able to, you know, we didn't hurt ourselves too bad. We were able to win two games. And, we just got to keep learning when things happen. You got to learn from it, so and we're going to struggle at some point everybody is. And but when it happens, we learn from it. And that's how you, you know, continue to improve as a group. So I know you guys talk a lot about staying in the present. Does a night like tonight allow you to dream on the future at all? I think we all understand that we're talented, to be honest with you, but it's kind of one of those you either do it or you don't kind of thing. So this is where we're at. We don't want to, like, just be like, oh, we're going to be good in a couple of years as a player or a team, it's our job to be good right now. And, you know, we got to learn from what we're doing. And when things don't go our way, we understand why and then get ready to roll the next time. You. A few questions ago, you said that Dylan is fun to watch already. What makes him fun to watch to you? I mean, he's just a baseball player. He does everything the right way. He's quiet, but he just kind of does does things the right way. And that's, you know, it's going to be huge for us. I mean, and like I said, it's you know, it's kind of players I like to watch and, so it was a really good turn through the rotation for all of you guys here as you get to this point in the season, like you said, you're not always feeling great. How important is it for all of you to know and learn how to get through a full season and finish strong? Yeah, I think it's important. And, you know, I think we've all kind of had our stretches where we didn't pitch as well as we did early. And, it's just when you get in some, you know, you call it uncharted territory where you've never been here before, but you don't want to just kind of stop and pull up. You got you got to kind of figure out how to get through it, and it's not always the most attractive thing when you're getting through it, but like, like you said, we had a good rot
