[Music] okay cheat alignment so if you're playing a y off Team all right you're playing a y off team here okay especially the 3 by one okay then we will cheat our inside linebackers to see so he's cheat to see and he's cheat to zero right over the ball okay because this is a lead Zone type alert they're going to run it to this C and so if you're going to run this three4 structure particularly how we run it in the in the with the B Gap D Linen in the bare front you have to know how you're going to account for the C Gap okay so in 3 by one all right we account for that by cheating the linebackers to the Y off okay and the rules are pretty simple okay if this y stays then we stay he fits the C and he fits the a okay if the Y falls back split Zone then we fall back to Bare fits open a cut back C so if he stays and they want to run lead Zone then we stay we pick up hats if he wants to fall back then we fall back to our base run fits okay in box a now because I'm a c Gap alignment okay I'm going to box the puller because I have box alignment I'm outside alignment so I'm going to box it back to the mic in this picture okay the Y is off so they're not going to be able to block him so we can box it to him all right so here we go he stays so we stay he fits the C he fits the a all right he stays so he fits the C he fits the open a what a great fit by 51 here don't great patience key step don't go to you know track the ball really nice job by Mike here and not just running into this seap he key steps and he just falls back to the ball now he falls back so we fall back into our base bare run fits simple as that now we fall back open a cut back C really simple same thing he falls back we fall back he falls back we fall back he stays we stay it's about as simple as you can get I think you could do this at any level high school small College matter of fact I've done it in small I know you could do it in small College we did it in Junior College I've clinck several High School they love it it's easy kids can learn it all right we could also play some underf front Okay so we'll slide to under and play a shade five to that tight end okay when we do that we we pretty much just Gap it out now all right so pretty pretty simple all right now we're just gonna we're just going to Gap these run fits out and just try to take them all up just show you some different variations still three four Personnel still three four principles just a little bit different way to fit it and now we put a big person in the SE Gap so when they put a tight end on the ball we like to get a big person in the C Gap instead of cheating that backer over there all right and then our other fit is what we call our overfit okay what I don't like about under is it's a gapped out fit and you're just plugging your linebackers so you lose that overlap like we talked about in our ver in our initial video about creating overlap when you plug your backers you take away that overlap okay so now when we get y on okay 3x one we're going to take care of the C Gap with a big person okay and instead of playing under we're just going to play a new center technique we're going to treat this guy like he's the center and we're GNA move one man over so now we're able to play bare fits from this all right so here you go this is what we call lion over to the left seap so you're we basically in a five a two and a backside two ey here all right so all we've done is we've said this guy is now the center and we're gonna line up off of him now we have taken away this front side SE Gap that they're trying to get to and we're in great shape okay midline like we talked about at some point they're going to read your B Gap defensive line okay he's going to serve for the quarterback the inside backer is going to plug for the dive okay here we go so we get midline he's the quarterback he's now the dive this Ball's gonna hit right off of this guard's uh hip here there it is D Lan's the quarterback and the reason reason we like to put the D lineman on the quarterback is because they can't seal him if you wanted to run the line and take the dive with the with the TA with the D lineman they could Arc and block the the inside backer so now your quarterback has a blocker okay when you put the D linan on the quarterback and plug the backer there's now no blocker for the quarterback so as long as your defensive lineman plays that properly the quarterback is out of it and it's going to come right to your inside backer one change up we have to this surf technique and when we talked about dline divide earlier I didn't talk about it but we can also just do what we call charge this so the defensive lineman will just instead of Surfing and sitting he will just charge the mess right now up Field's shoulder and force the issue kind of like he does here [Music] for
