the end of the Misano MotoGP Test. Sunday's runner-up set a best time of
1m 30.619second on the 20th of his 26 afternoon laps, putting him 0.161s

rain shower arrived in the race. Bagnaia's factory team-mate Enea Bastianini was
0.366second adrift, with rookie Pedro Acosta best of the non-Ducatis, in fourth for GASGAS Tech3,
after his debut on the prototype RC16. Fabio Quartararo was an encouraging fifth
for Yamaha, as he tried a revised engine as well as the new chassis from the race weekend. Pramac title leader Jorge Martin, fastest
in the morning, was sixth in the afternoon, just ahead of the GP23s of Sunday's winner
Marc Marquez (Gresini) and front-row qualifier Marco Bezzecchi (VR46). Marquez
did not appear to have anything new to try. Maverick Vinales was the lead Aprilia in ninth as he worked to solve engine braking
issues from the grand prix weekend. LCR's Johann Zarco was fastest of
the RCVs in 18th (+1.360second ). The Honda riders tried some heavily
revised aero, plus chassis parts and perhaps some engine changes -
but much more had been expected for this test. Repsol team-mates Joan Mir
and Luca Marini rode throughout the day, after being sidelined by
sickness during the race weekend.
