Cowboys progress on a deal with Lamb all right so got good news finally on CD lamb according to Clarence Hill according to sources which is Clarence Hill Cowboys are making progress on the deal with lamb nothing has been agreed to consummate but the team has increased the offer to lamb above 33 million annually so we getting north of $33 million CBO Nation on top of that they also have narrowed the length of the prospective deal to 4 years so trying to get back into the market here I guess CD Lamp's Contract Negotiations they must have offered him a six-year contract maybe a five-year contract right at that apy of 32 or $33 million and that wasn't enough for CD lamp which is a great conversation to have now because now it's getting close to that deadline make deals right and never look I get it I understand it completely I understand it completely $33 million to me that's life changing generational money right or to you out there that's crazy good money but to these players 33 Contract Length and Market Growth in the NFL being locked in for six or seven years I don't know the original contract length but to get it down to four that helps out a lot of things right because we know how the market grows $20 million increased in the last what two seasons even in the quarterback room right quarterback room increase of nearly $20 million right so this Market is in continue to increase keep in mind that the NFL overall profit margins increasing with Amazon and Beyond $11 Negotiating TV Revenue Deals billion do that's a lot of money of TV Revenue peacock uh Netflix got a deal on the table you got a lot of deals on the table and the agent's job is to let these players know look let's not settle for less no no no no I got you you know it's like listening to your lawyer do you take the plea deal or do you go ahead and fight this deal and the lawyer saying hey don't take the plea don't take the plea I can get you off right and then some people will sit back and Taking a Plea Deal say nah bump that I'm going to take the plea deal do two years and even though you're innocent you do the two years and then something else can happen to you right while you inside now you in there for five or maybe 10 years because something else happened so it's always even from that particular point of view is to listen to your lawyer that's what these agencies are about you know so uh hopefully this deal will get done whatever it may be it can get done Dak Prescott and CD Lamb: Getting Ready to Play sooner more than later granted Dak Prescott to CD lamb I could look at it from this aspect you know the installment was last year they know what they need to do right they know what they need to do and I think that you know CD lamb will be pretty much in good shape when it's time for him to play I get it a lot of people may look at this situation and scenario say hey La it's just like looking at what happened to Ezekiel Elliott n no no CD CD Lamb's Potential in Week One is a little bit different not saying that Zeke didn't work out as hard as CD but I'm just saying that CD is a whole different animal especially when you don't get as many hits and bang down on your body like a running back does right so I'm looking at CD lamb he should come out here week one and be locked loaded and ready they going to get this deal done just based off of the language and according to the knowledge of the information that's really close to the The Jones still on the hook star look Cowboy Nation here's my other thing that I want people to understand the Jones is still not off the hook no no no no no no this is what they do they wait till the last minute to make these these deals because they with the old school mindset deadline make deals and that all got to change that all got to be figured out down the line but you know old dogs don't learn new tricks as they say so it's one of those things so I'm looking forward to CD Lamb's Impressive Performance CD lamb just just doing some crazy good things for us for the 2024 season uh I can't wait for all of this to work out so stay tuned be locked in and salute to Clarence Hill and shout out to the All City Cowboys I think a new podcast that's out there uh they're going to be doing some great things out there for the cowboy Nation so shout out to Aisha shout out to my guy kg shout out to uh Jeff Kavanaugh and all of those uh individuals and if I left out your name Shout Out to the New Podcast charge it to my head not my heart but shout out to the new podcast that's going to be in the Dallas area DC for life not for short baby let's get it continue to grind and shine CD yes let's get it that's what that's what the 88 going to be is on y'all mind the DC for life not for sure peace [Music]
