all right you so how did our players perform today on the south coast well he has the honest answer I hope you're sitting down now to our first 11 I switched on Sky Sports and I'll tell you one thing that really disappointed me I checked three channels and I don't know why but um it said Bournemouth versus Newcastle however it was shown an interview with the manager of Liverpool and then after that interview had finished they went into the changing rooms and eventually they actually came to the match and I was expecting expecting from the first whistle us to be up for the game how disappointed was I because it was wave after wave of attack by Bournemouth now the the player re first half across cross 11 players I'm going to give you five and I'm being generous why because the way you played we had one shot um and that was from Alexander isach and it was one of those shots where B's keeper easily got it he was actually down on his knees at the time and after the 12th minute of the game personally I was thinking about our Weare supporters now let's be honest newcast United right this is to all of our players in the squad our chairman his Excellency yasia alian said in an interview where he wants our club to be and that was burning into my mind I did a a live the first half on YouTube and I think I had maybe five people came in my fault because I hadn't predicted it that I was going to do that because I was trying to get the audio to pick up a microphone so I could hold a microphone no that didn't work Sam as in the first half you as players you didn't work either too many balls where we got swamped and that's the honest answer we got swamped wave after wave after wave and I was thinking to myself of the videos where you know when you're on the training pitch yeah I've said this in many of my videos where you change your ranks while you're on the pitch because Eddie how in in J Tindle on sad Lanes you could see it in the Fe and this isn't how I want us as a team to go forward now you have the benefit of it only being the second game of the season so you have that benefit but that first half basically we couldn't string three passes together and then remain fall and all I saw was bornemouth attack attack attack when it should have been us that was doing the attack now Anthony Gordon um was playing on the left and he wasn't having that much success and that ghoul I was like oh my god when Joel Linton you had the ball what were you do trying to do were you trying to do a bit of Brazilian magic because you got your pocket picked and when that happened seconds later bang the balls in the back of the net simply not good enough now I've seen players trying Tino liento trying the poor lad was on his backside more times than out else because the way Bournemouth was swamping us and that is why like I say the majority of of our team first off you got a five and I was thinking to myself you know was listening to um the people who were pres like doing the presenting and they were saying that we hadn't quite woke up why why hadn't we woke up we're in the hardest league on planet Earth and that first half I have no idea how many fans traveled down but I couldn't hear those fans until the 59th minute in the second half and that's the truth you see what happened in that first half I don't want to see that again this season and I'm sure his Excellency he doesn't want to see it either you're meant to represent the budge the city you meant to put effort in I mean let's be honest here the first half you were nowhere you were overcome and swamped now in the second half as you came out and you went to kick off it got a little bit better but it wasn't perfect it only got perfect when it was so many minutes after eddh how made the substitutions bringing Kieran tripat on Harvey Barnes and I've wrote it down because like I said I wanted the facts 66 minute Harvey Barnes nearly put one in the back of the net and then we kind of woke up now it is only the second game of the season that is true that's your Saving Grace that it is only the second game of the season because what I want to see as a Newcastle United supporter is this I want to see you from the first whistle the second you touch that pitch after you've done your shaking hands with the opposition and you do your huddle I want to see you switched on and I want to see you performing home underwear because currently as I said in my previous video at the end of the match we were fifth we've now dropped to sixth so we're still inside the top 10 but we're displays like you did in the first half how long will that be the case now said this many many times confuse the opponents break play up pass don't just take the ball and run or kick the ball into nowhere use your head and not just for heading the ball now from 68 minute we had another chance and 69th minute Jo Linton jum soap in bma's box he but he couldn't get no power and then we did have our breakthrough a lovely ball a lovely assist from Harvey bonds and here's the thing that ball through to Anthony Gordon at the back post wow that's excitement that gets people up off their seats and I thought once would scored we would pick up but we started to drop off again why you know I mean like I said at the beginning I felt sorry for all of our aware fans today a 750 mile trip and Eddie they were saying on Sky News on on Sky Sports the deer that's since you left Bournemouth you've never beaten them you're going to have to change the system you're going to have to put two up front and make sure that the two up front have support I mean when Mickey came on it wasn't so bad but there were still gaps and we still got overrun and the honest thing is this as I said in the video ear earlier VAR intervened because the referee was going to give them that GH I knew that it was from right there that's your arm that's your shoulder that's your arm and that lady who was in the studio what she should have done before she actually went to talk about it was realized what part of the body she was going to touch because it wasn't up here no it was here that's how B so going forward I want Newcastle United as a club to claim not sink I want us from the first whistle to the last whistle give everything so that your player numbers aren't at 5 they near at 10 because you've
